    Personally I think it would be very effective to just use the fire hose

      Yes but what do you wash the fire hose with. We used something Similar while packing our attack lines back

      Booster Line works pretty good, also we had a few reducer caps on discharge to garden hose. When it came to washing hose we had a appliance built that was a big ol peice of pipe about 1/4in material,dbl walled with maybe 2in between the walls6-8 in diameter(inside)2 handles welded on each side(heavy), a bunch of holes drilled through it at a angle all the way around on the inside 360 with a 2.5in coupling welded on to supply it. It will feed it through on it's on with the water once its started, then just pull it back through by hand against the angle of the water, it does a great job. There was a member made it sometime around the 80's, and it's still serving today, cleaning the nastiest of hose, dont get too awful wet doing it either.

      @@fever4174 and get your hose dirty again while you pack it? No way, just did all that work to lay it on the ground. Ours is rinsed as it’s going in
