Dollar tree has an extra large pizza pan in the plus section. I had a plant stand that was verde gri but small i used the pizza pan on top. I didn't attach it. I have 5 orchid plants and could fit one more. Its bigger than you think. I have some contact paper that i couldn't put on top but i spill water its easier to carry them into the kitchen for when i trim the plants.

4:35 if you look at your overlap… u could take the Sherpa materials raw edge & butt it up to your overlap flap then wrap the stool & your seam/bulk would be smoother:)

Dollar Tree has the same oil drip pan for 1.25. I buy them all the time they make a great flower pot water pan, dish pan and foot soak pan.

I have a relative that needed a litter box in a hurry for an abandoned kitten he found. Dollar Tree oil pan worked great for a temporary fix.

All that bother to put a plant on it and regards the ottoman you can buy them instead to save the trouble and seating type thing with the wooden top you could slip off that if you or someone sat on it 😊

I think if you added a 3 plant stand or found something similar to plant stands that were stronger ,, actually Amazon has a huge assortment of legs and wouldn't cost much more than what you would spend on plant stands and of course they come with needed hardware to attach that would be way more suitable and able to hold most weight of several people sitting at same time
