As if things would be any less corrupt or dictatorial if Hamzah himself were on the throne! The late King Hussein and Prince Hamzah's mother, Queen Noor, also lived in absolute luxury while so many Jordanians were in dire poverty. Queen Noor, like the present Queen Rania, was also accused of spending too much money on jewels and designer clothes. Have you seen the palaces and overseas luxury estates where the late King Hussein, Queen Noor, Prince Hamzah and his three siblings stayed in while many Jordanians slept on the street? If Prince Hamzah were on the throne he would also stay at these luxury properties and his wife would also don herself with designer clothes and expensive jewelry (she already does). Prince Hamzah has been benefiting from this "nepotism" all of his life and he also enjoyed a lavish wedding at a palace to his present wife, while huge numbers of ordinary Jordanians struggled to make ends meet. King Hussein wanted Hamzah to be his successor but he was too young when Hussein died prematurely. Abdullah was appointed king only if he promises to pass the crown to Hamzah. Hussein was not wrong in his choice because Hamzah not only looks exactly like him but he truly cares for Jordan. He also has the same level of charisma and charm as Hussein. What a shame that Abdullah has broken his promise. Because kingship is unique and has an element of divine appointment. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. But Abdullah is the oldest of the two brothers right?! The laws of succession say that he should be his father’s successor. King Hussein was not fair to Abdullah if he asked him for that. It was very offensive and hurtful to ask your oldest son and therefore rightful successor to pass on his birth right to his brother, it was like telling his own son, to his face, that he liked his brother better. That sounds like an abusive father to me. Not to mention how doing so (if he indeed did) has also planted the seed of discord between the two brothers. King Hussein was a terrible father if he did that.

Anyhow, Abdullah II has been a far more responsible monarch and didn’t leave his wife, who he had 4 children with (Abdullah’s mother) for another woman. King Abdullah is still married to the woman he married 30 years ago and it’s the natural form of succession that the monarch‘s oldest son follows him.

I DIDN'T KNOW About This Heart wrenching "Story" ..Until This Video As well. That Changes Everything What I Feel now About King Abdullah and his wife. All The World's Royal Dignitaries Were So "Graciously" Welcomed at the Lavish wedding, But The Rightful Royal Heir to The Jordanian Throne : Prince HAMZAH and His Wife..and The Brother !!!..

    • @ayoutubechannel.1733

@@barbaraturkot7737The late King Hussein should have just made Hamzah king immediately, if he had really wanted him to be king. King Hussein took the throne at 16, so why didn't he make the then 18-year-old Hamzah King? Instead, he sowed the seeds of discord which has now led to this tragedy. Of course, Abdullah, being the eldest son, was never going to give up the throne after 5 years, so his half-brother, his father's "favourite son", Hamzah, could be king--promise or no promise! Of course Abdullah was going to strip Hamzah of the title of Crown Prince and give it to his own son! Most fathers would have done exactly the same thing, out of loyalty to their own sons. Abdullah is just a human being, after all!

What a hypocrite!

Yes, but in order for democracy to work there has to be unity. At least on some level and high literacy. Most of these countries(and other developing countries) pops are divided by tribes, sects, religion, ethnicity etc. People stay loyal to those than a foreign political system(democracy). The people do want democracy though or their own version of it, but any disagreement can easily end up in a civil war. Example: Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Egypt, whom we freed from tyranny and look at how they are doing now. Instability, Civil war and military coup can or did happen.
