RANThAG:- The Regional Art and Theatre Arts Group (RANThAG), is the very first and till now the only theatre group in Kargil Ladakh. It was formed by Kacho Ahmad Khan, (the first National School of Drama Alumni from kargil, along with some other like minded people. Ranthag stage plays, direct movies, organize cultural workshops and events so as to disseminate stories about tradition, culture, modernity and change in order to enrich the lives of people and their communities. It tries to help people understand their societies better by means of plays. It uses creative ways in their plays and movies to empower people and bring positive change in society.
