Nice one brother! Muriwai was where I did all my surfcasting as a kid, loved going up towards the lagoon, taking a feed and flicking a line. Bit harder to do it with the motorcycle but I'll have to get up there again soon. Tight lines!❤
Nice one! You've evoked some very fond memories of getting up there with the family when the kids were still kids. Used to be some beautiful sand pools at low tide up near the spit for the kids to splash about in, lovey and warm in the summer while the old man wet a line for trevs and snapper. Subscribed!

What fishing line are you using?
I'm using 30lb sufix braid.

I have never managed to catch any fish off Muriwai . I just do not seem to have any luck.
It can take awhile to figure it out but also not all holes or channels have fish in them sometimes. You just have to keep at it...

Half pillies on one and fresh kahawai on the other after catching one 👍
