I’m not sure if anyone has recently written this, but hopefully my novel’s setting is unique. It’s set during the rise of Christianity in the Roman Empire. I have yet to find a good historical fiction about the Roman Empire, let alone early Christianity. What’s more, Jesus and his disciples are background figures in this story, which centers on those around them-Romans, Jews, Greeks, Parthians, etc.
