I really enjoy this series. You don’t come across a whole lot of creators that will review a weapon from the eyes of a average/above average pvp player. I appreciate this series and can’t wait for the next episode. For a future episode, I can’t recommend Symmetry enough. You should give it a shot. Or 5. Or 20.
I'm really happy to hear that you can respect the approach! I always have had to take other RUclipsr's weapon opinions with a grain of salt knowing that most of them are far better PvP players than myself. I thought it might be nice for people to see a perspective from the "Average Camp" as well. 😅 I'll definitely get Symmetry on the list for you though. It's been awhile since I used it but it's a beautiful weapon! 👍👍

Thanks for the video! I would suggest Cryosthesia 77k. I love precision sidearms, and stasis, but never quite connected with this sidearm. Would love an independent take.
Also, you should plan a 5 games with Outbreak Perfected after they release the crafted one (headseeker!!!)
Sounds good! Me and Cryosthesia have had a love / hate relationship since it came out, but I'd definitely be all for taking it for another spin in the current sandbox. Outbreak on the other hand will probably get a full breakdown once it re-releases. I'm sure I'll have more to say about it than I could cover in a 5 Games video. 😁👍
I love this series! You should do Cerberus. It’s still one of my favorite weapons in PvP.

Seeing you do one of these on Final Warning would be pretty interesting
Interesting but rough lol. I feel like Final Warning would take at least 20 games until you get the hang of it, and even then, not mastered. I’m ok with it but never seen really good players use it so I feel like the skill ceiling is high for not enough reward. Have you had a good time with it?
I honestly don't think that I have ever pull the trigger on Final Warning...so that would be extremely interesting! 🤣 I'll be sure to add it in! 👍👍

Vex has been my main weapon for mostly all activities since Splicer. At first it was out of spite for it taking me 42 runs to get it as opposed to my gf getting it on her 2nd run but I've really grown to love it. Pairing it with Rain of Fire is honestly probably my most used Destiny combo
I can certainly understand that, and its great to hear that perseverance paid off for you! I do love the Rain of Fire / Vex combo. If feels like the two exotics were made for each other! 😁👍
This series is the shit lol. Also I was getting destroyed by this thing when I was playing IB. That being said, idea for the next one: Centrifuse. I went all in on Centrifuse paired with Getaway Artist this past Iron Banner and had so much fun (I play PvP maybe once every 3 months.) The Blinding effect on Max charge kill is pretty generous.

This will be cool. I used vex when i use to play pvp pretty frequently but havent since they dropped its fire rate... infact, havent really picked it up since then. I know it got a 200% buff against champs in linier mode but meh.
The PvE buff does sound quite nice! I haven't had a chance to take it for a spin on that side of the game yet. 👍👍
meh indeed, 4.3k pvp kills but precision autos r on another level
I recommend it before the end of the season. All those solar buffs really magnify how good it is. Mathix (spelling) did a hunter vex/fortracer solar build and wrecked the coil pretty good.
This series has been phenomenal and honestly I'd like to see suros regime. Because if it's meant for pvp this would be perfect for it but perk wise dealers choice, could probably make it a 2 part episode.

Thats a good build. Its simple but very effective. Im a hunter main but thats 1 of my 2 favorite builds. Sunbracers are my favorite. Its just fun.
That's my second favorite weapon (after queenbreaker). You did an awesome review. However in pvp now is hard to challenge a "real" auto riffle. But it's fun though.
Also un pve you can use it as Antibarrier, and with the 600% damage to Champions in LFR...
While I haven't had much of a chance to play with it on the PvE side of the game as of late, that does look like a really nice buff the Vex recently got! I'm interested to see how the 450 Auto nerf plays out in PvP over the next few weeks. They don't seem to have taken a huge hit on paper, but I wonder if it's enough to knock them off their horse. 🤔🍻

My only main issue with this gun is the fire rate that's all it would be nice if it was a 375 or 370 idk maybe is just me on console the aim assist idk if I feel it or not but is just doesn't feel like it exist anymore but oh well is just me cos been using it on everything even raids yes I use vex in raids lol either way my main issue is the fire rate which they increased it one day
I know a lot of players were up in arms when Vex got switched from the 390 fire rate down to 360. 👍👍
@@IronworkerGaming yeah my only main issue is just the fire rate that all the gun is still amazing either way always be my number one gun no matter what still I would love it to have the fire rate increase to a 370 or 375 I wouldn't mind at all just to make special again and unique too
For my recommendation for a PvP test, I'd say Tiicuu's Divination as far as an exotic goes. It's been one of my main weapons I've used when I've gone back and played some PvP lately, and I mainly use it for hit and run peeking tactics. I do run it with Oathkeeper as a hunter, but that's just for convenience and it's good even without it.
Side note to anyone reading this, while I doubt Ironworker would want to test it as he's not a fan of sidearms, I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on my preferred legendary sidearm for PvP, the Redback-5si. It's always been pretty consistent for me to use as either a backup weapon, or even occasionally as a main weapon on closer quarters maps. I run it with the full auto mod equipped, Arrowhead Brake, Flared magwell, Subsistence, and Vorpal Weapon, and Veist Stinger. Not ideal, but it's the best roll I've gotten on it.
Also, Ironworker, I'm still hoping to see Monte Carlo get a full breakdown sometime in the future.
I do have Monte up on my white board and slated for a few review still! I'll add Ticcu's to the 5 games list though. It really is an interesting bow in the Crucible. A lot of potential if you can get it going! 👍👍

Unfortunatly, I don't have an Abyss Defiant laying around. I could sub in a different High Impact auto. Age Old Bond maybe? 👍👍

Vex Mythoclast has been one of those weapons that never dropped for me. I don't do Raids but I ran Vault of Glass numerous times and each time I hoped to see it.
Why not take Sunshot for a spin? MOAR FYAH!
Sadly, Vex does seem to be one of those elusive drops for a lot of player still. I'll definitely get Sunshot added in though. I've been loving it in PvE since Scorch damage was tacked on, but I haven't taken it into PvP for quite some time. It would be interesting to give it another go! 😁🍻
I suggest devils ruin, I have always thought of it as an extremely slept on pvp workhorse.

I've heard a lot of horror stories about players having 100s of completions without a Vex drop! I was fortunate to get it on my first clear. 🤫😅
@@IronworkerGaming 1st clear! That's the 2nd time I've heard that. I got it on number 6 but did it another dozen time to help a friend.... she was in the 70s if I remember right.
I wasn't exactly the most popular person in the fireteam that day as I ran it with people that had boat-loads of clears with no drop.😂 It's one of the few times that RNG actually smiled on me! 😁👍

Transfiguration is disgusting for mid skill players and not enough people talk about it. Do that.
The only Transfiguration that I have laying around is the old curated Outlaw / Explosive Payload. Good enough? 👍👍
@@IronworkerGaming yeah the thing cooks. Perks just make it better. I prefer rapid hit on the crafted one the feel of the gun is really what carries it. You don’t use transfiguration. You enjoy it.
Sounds good. It has been quite some time since I used it. The whole RUclips racket keeps me jumping from gun to gun all of the time so I never get a chance to settle into any of them. 😂👍

Lorentz may prove a bit tricky in the context of a "5 Games" video with the special ammo changes, but I'll add it in and give it a try if it gets selected! I should give it a full breakdown one of these days though. Just before Lightfall I had a build video featuring Lorentz ready to go, but never released it because it was dependent on Elemental Wells.🤦♂️ It would be interesting to see how it sits currently. 👍👍
