Autofocus seems good to me. One thing I will say, if anyone has this camera and wants to film without using Clog3 (too much effort, etc), choose Neutral or Standard with contrast all the way down. Out of the box the contrast is way too strong. It just crushes blacks and blows out highlights. Compared to my Sony A7III out of the box, the R6 MKII looks awful, but once adjusted, the look and dynamic range is fairly close. So again, Neutral - 5 contrast. Should help.
I usually do neutral and kill everything. Lower sharpness, contrast, saturation, and as long as you get the focus good , temp good. You can add all that back in post 📯
On the R5 you can solve the problem of switching between photo and video by assigning a button to that function. I have assigned the M-Fn button to do that. Very easy, and it's right at your fingertip 😀
What camera would you choose, the Sony fx3 or the canon r6 mark 2? For documentary/vlog content, I also take pictures occasionally. Great Content. My main focus is video
thats a tough one, as they are so similar! I am heavily invested in canon glass so I would stick to canon but if you are new to both systems the best way is to try them out in real world, amybe you can rent them or a friend has one and then you can make an opinion based on that
I too miss the top LCD as all my Canon cameras have them. However, none of the Sony pro cams have a top LCD and their back LCDs are complete garbage at all price points.
@@Roman.the.explorer 🤣 For switching modes, I actually prefer the dial on the R6 II but I do miss having the info displayed on the top and yeah, the cam does look more pro to me with the top LCD.

Thank you so much! I'm gonna give it a try

2:16 what gimbal is that? I don't think it's listed in your gear. Thanks for the vid. I find the r6mkii to lack sharpness on human eyes.
Looks like a Dji RS3
I ended up selling the R6M2, and using C70 for video. That was the RS2, still using it!
Awesome video!! Did you record majority in 24fps or 60fps….I just purchased the R6MII and trying to figure out best settings
Hey man, congrats! I did mostly in 24, and if I did 60/120 or 180 I interpreted to 24 playback to show slowmo
Which gimbal did you use, and did you turn out al the IS in camera and lens? greetings
Hi, IS in camera, RS2
@@Roman.the.explorerat 2:18 seems to be little vertical jitter,
i have the same problem when walking normally using rs3mini. How to avoid this?

I finally did it the other day too!!

If your main focus is video FX3 for sure!
Hey buddy- still waiting on the R6mkii vs R5.
Is this Miami?
Yeah, Fort Lauderdale
If you could only have one for Video would you choose the R6ii or the R5
R5!! Refurbished canon website has a good deal on it now
Which one to go : A7iv vs R6 m2.?

R6 Mark II. The A7IV has a heavy 4K60 crop and much slower for photography.
Gracias Roman, La música de fondo está muy alta y no me deja escuchar lo que dices, que está bien interesante...
Going all in RUclips this year??
Let's how long I can last 😂😂😂🙈

LMAO, never thought of that

I got mine to overheat, I was in a hot and humid place and finally overheated on me. I think it was after 15 minutes in clog 4k 60.
