      Had something similar happen when kayaking in Freeport where the waves were bad and swamped my kayak.
      Completely filled my kayak hull with water and practically sunk my kayak with full fishing gear like 600 ft from shore and 200ft from the jetty. Managed to swim it over to the jetty and drag it up on top. Thing must've weighed close to 300lbs!!

What saltwater spinning reel would you suggest in the 2500 size? Here is the thing I’m getting it for crappie fishing. Buying saltwater because I want a tank the will last years and years and years.

  • @simonhunt4614
    @simonhunt4614 Год назад

    I have noticed in a few of your videos that your line touches your blank /or even passes thru it under load ,im no expert and please dont take this as a criticism of your rod preference but Ideally you'd want to keep that line off the blank under periods of heavy load. Maybe spin gear would be better for that kind of fishing .Its an issue when using light rated bait casting rods on big fish .Anyway love your channel !!
