Cattail Cove State Park - 1 hour North of Quartzsite Arizona - January 2024

This is Cattail Cove camp ground located right between Park Arizona and Lake Havasu on route 95, and is just 1 hour North of Quartzsite.
This campground has 61 camping and RV sites. The rate was $30 per night when I stayed there in January 2024. There is a Maximum stay of two weeks and reservations are required. You can go to azstateparks.c... or call the Reservations Desk at 1-877-MY PARKS

Very nice spot. I have stayed across the river at the cheap boondocking spot a few times. Had to laugh when you talk about the phone changing time every five minutes as that is so true. Saw your Bob Wells video and you have a great set up. You are one smart RV Chick.

I stayed there for 2 or 3 nights a few years ago. I didn't have a reservation but stopped to see if they had any open sites. She said it was my lucky day because she had a cancellation for site 4 or 5, a favorite site with folks. When I got to my space I saw it was at the water, I was thrilled. Very nice park.

Cattail is a cool little tucked away river camp site...I camp on the BLM land across the road...I really like Lake Havasu in the winter months! Especially when the race track opens!! I SxS into town via the trails to catch dinner or lunch...cool place! I dump my tanks and get water at Cattail! That whole region is great in winter...Parker too!

thanks for the video love the water yet i lived in arizona and ca and learned i didnt like living on what always looks like the lunar surface so... happy in carolina with trees, beaches, and best bbq in the world. feb 27 temps in hi 60s today. i can live with that and honestly the only good thing in area where you are is BOB WELLS. he shares so much info rvers rely on him to grow and learn. hes a legend. iand look at you. now you can actually use a heater buddy..
