This is a bag with a lot of stories behind it. Melissa, your summary of its pros and cons is spot on, and it really shows how much you care about it. Thank you for sharing, and I look forward to more of your review videos!
I have this bag as well. It was a bag my daughters picked out for me for my 60th birthday. It wasn’t on my radar but I do really love it. I agree, the strap is a tad too long for crossbody wear and I am 5 ft 5 in. I wonder if there is a way to have it shortened?
I had that bag for a moment, but returned it due to an issue with the magnetic lock. I sometimes wish I would have exchanged it for another. I have a lockme chain bag now, which is very similar.
@@MelissaAdams-Wade I miss the size of the Vavin, it’s a little larger than the mylockme chain bag, but I prefer the silver chain on the lockme bag. I wish LV would tone down their gold chains and make them more of a champagne color and/or offer more bags with silver chains. The chain color is what prevented me from exchanging it for another Vavin.
The oldest handbag I have in my collection is a murakami multicolor piece my dad got me when I was about 4 years old. Only wore it on special occasions and it’s still in amazing condition! I also have lots of coach bags from my childhood and other LV bags. I am very sentimental so I’ll probably never let them go❤
@@neebieslittleluxuries what a beautiful story. My dad passed away when I was a teenager. He wasn’t the best man, pretty abusive but I loved him anyway. He got me a jewelry box I use to cherish. I no longer have it but I wish I still did.
@@MelissaAdams-Wade That is very honorable🤎you have a beautiful outlook on life being able to find love and appreciation in an unfortunate circumstance. I’m so sorry to hear about your father passing while you were still so young.

Ive always wondered about this bag when I see it on your shelf behind you. It seems like a great bag.
@@KW-mo6sz any time you are curious about a bag let me know, I’d be happy to film a video for you.
Thanks for reviewing this bag. I have the LV clapton in this same color combination, and I really enjoy mine!
Thank you for watching 🥰. The Clapton seems like a great bag.
I love this bag and I think the Victorine wallet is one of the best designs. I have 2 in emperiente monogram leather.
@@Jploveslv I think so too. It’s very easy to use and holds everything.
I love that bag! It was discontinued before I could get it.
@@KathyReeves-hd8jw oh no. I’m so sorry to hear that.
Amaxing how many things this one actually fits 😱
@@mrsleyva It fits so much and I love that I don’t have to Tetris things to fit.
That’s such a beautiful bag Melissa
Thank you Dawn 🤍

I believe that there are repair places that you can have links taken out of the chain to make it shorter.

Oh no, I’m glad you returned it and didn’t settle for a dysfunctional magnet.
