In this scene we see Jean-Pierre Leaud and Isabelle Duport watch a parody of Bergman's "The Silence" from 1963.
What's beautiful, is the commentary offered by Leaud about film lovers.
Not at all, he loved Bergman. Just read a 1958 artice by Godard entitled "Bergmanorama".
Does anyone know where is Catherine-Isabelle Duport today? Is she alive? I can't find any info about her on internet, and she is my favorite actress!
Pretty much my reaction to most of Godard's work post 1968.Jean Luc Godard has aged terribly.
My favorite director
Catherine-Isabelle Duport is her name. she is still alive, but didn't have a very long career.

Yes. The film they are watching is a 'spoofed' The Silence.

A fantastic scene from an under-appreciated movie. Thank you Godard!
