When Hyunjin was talking about there's an emptiness to Han when he makes people laugh you could compare it to their two kids room where Hyunjin went into more detail about how sometimes he feels like Han is worried about always making other people laugh and making them happy then focusing on himself sometimes
I think childhood def comes to play with how Han was. Bc he said before that even as a kid he struggled to make friends and I think that + his anxiety/social anxiety was the perfect combination for a defensive introverted teen (I say that as someone who also was a defensive introverted teen lol) When you grow up with no friends or you grow up always losing friends (which is more often the case), as you grow up you often develop a slight bitterness towards the idea. Bc you were used to being alone or you had already experienced friends hurting u by leaving and don’t want to experience that again so instead you put up these barriers so that no one can get close, this is done often unintentionally. And when you have social anxiety (something Han and I also share in common), it’s so easy for ur brain to see things as an attack, or for u to believe that ppl have bad intentions, are just going to leave or that they’re even talking about u. And when these ppl are also to some extent your competition it’s an even worse combination. And esp if you’re a teenager at around 14-16 it’s so easy to be paranoid and defensive bc u haven’t figured yourself out yet and when you’ve never rly had many friends to begin with, lack social skills, have anxiety or inherent nervousness, and have the pressure of your career possibly ending before it even had a chance to start, there’s a lot going on. And often our brains don’t know what to do, when tend to default to fight or flight, or other defensive measures. And in Han’s case his chose fight. Hence the combative nature, and why he had so many conflicts. And I think if you’re also jealous of someone it’s even worse, it’s wild how angry we can be in the moment all because we’re afraid. And sometimes subconsciously we KNOW what we did or said was wrong but we have so much pride or fear further conflict that we just break down or even worse SHUT down. Han has mentioned a situation similar to this where he knew he was in the wrong but his pride held him back. WOW THAT WAS A LOT LOL but here is my theory or perspective as someone who was a socially anxious, defensive and introverted teen who also was also in competitive singing until I was around 16 haha. I see a lot of myself in Han and I rlly empathize with him and I’m so proud of how he’s matured bc as someone who went through it, I know how hard it is to break down those barriers and even today I still struggle this time to not default to being on the defense. Hope you enjoyed my ramble lol
I 100% agree. Till this day, I'm still pretty defensive on accepting new friend cuz I built such a thick high wall in my heart since I was so use to be alone.
I totally agree with this. I too said i can relate with han and ig me being a single child and having no friends who stayed long cuz uk how kids often change school also played a huge role in me being an introvert. I can't say i have social anxiety but yeah im definitely not comfortable unless i get to know em lil bit.
@22:08 he did a vlive march 22 2021 where he explained the meaning behind his skz-record “alien” which is worth a watch for everyone! he talks about his life just before he became a trainee. when he came back to korea from malaysia he didn’t go to school or leave the house much and he didn't really hang out with anyone aside from his older brother. he was lonely and didn’t really feel a sense of belonging until he became a trainee. he was really ambitious and wanted to succeed as an idol while trying to get along with everyone else but it was hard for him because he didn’t really know how to. he said others may have found it hard to approach him because of his personality and how overwhelming it may have been for them. he explains it in more detail in the vlive but i imagine it might've just been a bit different socializing with other teenagers in korea after being away in another country for so long
Han went to school in malaysia, but he took an exam to finish it early so he can go to korea to train, so he doesn't have many stories about school. What Han wanted more than anything was Korean school life. yes they have their birthday one day after the other, and that's why we call them the "sunshine twins" not only because of the date but because they are the most loving
The September babies!! Virgos!! Triplets! (9-14-00 for Han, 9-15-00 for Felix, and 9-22-00 for Seungmin) They have their different personalities and talents but they've also got similarities too. They've all got that positive energy that hypes you up/ makes you smile/laugh, Sunshines! Honestly though my fav duo Jilix always makes me smile and giggle, especially when they're together especially since these two are the more affectionate and touchy ones (and the ones to ask for kisses like... They lean in and act like they'll kiss their members) and the ones to cheer people up/ encourage them and compliment them, add Seungmin to the mix and I'll be extra entertained.
Han is so cute. They are all cute. It doesn't help that they dressed them up in those soft colours during the newer 2kids room. I like how they still discover things about each other 5 years later.
It warmed my heart to see Han so excited over a canteen hahahaa, he must've thought he couldn't talk to any one about it cuz they wouldn't understand him when there was Chan and Felix right there. Ahhh British colonisation~ I'm pretty sure Han was home schooled after leaving elementary school.
Haha if you didn't know that Jisung is one of the most affectionate members in terms of skinship there are compilations of SKZ almost-kisses and he dominates those lol I think since he didn't know how to express his want for receiving affection and his intentions through words, a lot of it showed up via body language instead
I’ve seen him try to kiss members but for some reason it still didn’t click to me hahaha I don’t think I’ve seen many clips of him hugging the members? I’ll have to do a search 🤣
Han loves saying Felix must respect him bc he's older but they are really hours apart lmao and also regarding Han's education, he finished high school earlier so he could travel to Korea to take the exams for upper education (AT 15 YEARS OLD). And he made a deal with his parents while being there so he could try to get into a company and be an idol in a year. If he didn't, he would go back to study (i think... i don't really remember this but anyway, he's really a genius for finishing school and exams early to get to be an idol and follow his dreams. He's really admirable)
I think that HAN's barriers have something to do with his social anxiety/fear of crowds and new people maybe? Ofc we can't know what had happened to him but maybe it's one of the reasons. I'm just glad that he opened up and that members are always there to show him how much he is loved.
Take this with a grain of salt but if I remember right Han went to school in Malaysia for a really short while, and was then homeschooled for the rest of it. He went back to Korea at 14~15 years old to take his GED for elementary, middle and high school and got those certificates within a year and a half. He basically speedran through the education system so he could focus on being a singer. Then, as he mentioned in the 2kr with seungmin, he negotiated with his parents to try to get into a company within a year, and if he didn't succeed he would go back to Malaysia and continue his study, probably at the international university there or sth
i think majority of han school life he was homeschooled then when he was 16(korean age) he took a test and passed making him graduate highschool early and didn't go to college after that
If l know correctly, Han got his all element, middle, high school degrees by passing degree qualifying exams. He attended elementary schools in Korea and moved to Malaysia and got into the elementary school there, but dropped and started home schooling since elementary school years. He has a loving brother and spent time together. Also, he traveled with his father. He listened to lots of music while driving with his father and also got fears against height when he fell into water during the trip with family and were saved by tour guide from alligators(not sure). According to him he looked down to water and got scared by the depth. Also, it was his father who encouraged him to write his own song when Han admired sing-a-song writer participants in Korean audition shows. So he started writing his own lyrics in early teenage years. He was also impressed by the stage presence of Korean powerful singer so he naturally wanted to become a singer. He had to come to Korea to take his qualifying exams, so he asked his parents for one year in Korea to try to become a singer. He enrolled to an private art institute to learn how to compose, rap, etc. Even though his parents gave him one year in Korea for preparing, he passed JYP audition only after 3 months and started his JYP trainee life and made 3racha and became one of SKZ later. His family moved back to Korea to support Han's dream. So his home is in Korea now. JYP didn't allow their trainee.did bad grades in school but Han passed his qualifying exams instead, so while Hyunjin & Seungmin, born in the same year, had to attend their schools Han didn't need to do that. Chan was accepted early in Austrailia by JYP, and came to Korea without his family, joined JYP, and attended a high school in Korea. On the other hand Felix got accepted by JYP but he wanted to finish his high school in Australia first, he postponed his joining to JYP for a year. I think the diversity in their personal lives and backgrounds is one of SKZ and 3racha's strong points, especially as their own producing group. Have a lovely day, bye!
Mel it's so precious to see how much love you have to give, these artists deserve so much appreciation for their hard work and shining personalities but not everyone has that capacity to give and I just find it so endearing to witness the journey you've been on since you started this channel :)

It's like I found my own personal sound you know. I'm yet to dive deep into many 4th gen groups but your reactions has helped me a lot in discovering them as well. It's so good to see you happy and exploring more of kpop and I hope you go and enjoy where it takes you. Much love to you, Mel❤️.
I love this comment SO MUCH!!!!!!! I wish more people had this same mindset Aera. I whole heartedly agree with you in regards to how every group brings their own charm and has something unique to offer. I absolutely LOVE discovering new groups and falling in love with their unique differences. It makes my life a very fun place! I hope more people can learn to love and respect all groups in the future. The kpop world would be a much nicer place hehe ❤️❤️❤️
What i know han finish his elementary school and then he going back to korea to chasing his dream ,he homeschooling and training at the same time..comeback to Malaysia for to take exam GED and pass ..he graduated at 15 years old...

Sounds like you had an amazing weekend!! Felix and Han’s episode made my heart warm, it was amazing how I related to everything they said about school haha (I was team red) 😂
I'm not sure if that will give an answer for your question about what did Han go through before he became a trainee, but he said before that he could not make friends at all, he couldn't talk to people and he isolated himself and that he felt he was an alien that can't approach the people around him, you can read the lyrics of his song "alien" if you didn't, you will understand him a little bit more You maybe know all of this but just in case to understand him more 28:57 it's funny because han is older just by one day🤣, and maybe they were born on the same day but it's different because of the gap in the time between sydney and korea
Yeah I do remember hearing about that, but I wonder why. Maybe it was because he lived in a foreign country? I’m glad he managed to feel safe and comfortable with the people around him and open up! ❤️❤️❤️
@@melaniereacts I think so, and as he said in one of these episodes that due to his father's job he transferred a lot when he was young so maybe that was also one of the reasons And yes I'm glad too 🥺❤
Yay finally..our sunshine twin and sept triplet..han's bday is on 14th and felix is on 15th of sept while seungmin is on 22nd of sept..we got busy September haha..
Remember what was han saying that one day made big difference 🤣 han studied multiplication when felix studied addition 🤣🤣 Yeah felix is han's little brother aka baby 🤣
I can relate to han with having huge barriers around himself. Welp for my case i never faced any such big incident to make me that way it's just the thought of "what if they won't accept me" makes me distance myself from others before they can reject me. I kinda get anxious when i step out of house due to this too. I do not have social anxiety. It's just i get kinda nervous at first then if the surrounding is warm then im good. Ig he too have his own reasons and complexes.
Sounds like a great weekend with so many overwelming impressions. 👍🏻 That busy you yet might not have heard about Hyunjin's "ice.cream" (SKZ Record) or that Xdinary Heroes covered "Hellevator". You should check both out. I think XH made a good cover with their own style. Junhan's guitar play is beautiful and suits the song so well. Yesterday on his vlive Bang Chan reacted to it and he is so pleased with the sound. Maybe it is still weird to have other artists as fans, like they are to others themselves. The are so humble, that I get the feeling they can't believe how popular they are. I hope they keep this nice attitude, when they get more and more popular. They are such precious persons and I like 2 Kids Room for showing their bond and special connection. 💕 Oh, and Xdinary Heroes made a Choreo Video for "Test me" and Gunil made some moves from Stray Kids' Choreos, so you can tell how much he likes them. So adorable!
The Han & Felix and Seungmin are the same age & same horoscope? The closest personalities are Han & Felix because their birthdays are close, those 2 were living overseas thinking almost similar or very opening their feelings with others. Those 2 treat the youngest one different way, Han looks like a father type & Felix looks like a mother type. Han is very aggressive or very tough to treat with Seungmin & IN, Felix is super nice & protective the youngest one.
24:30 pretty sure han only went to school for 6 years in malaysia and then made a deal w his parents that if he didn’t debut in the next two years then he would leave korea and go back to malaysia to finish school, and since he debuted im guessing that means he didn’t finish highschool
@@lyandaespadas he was already in korea by the very start of 2017 which meant he would've only finished until year 10, he still had 2 more years of school to go
you saying “aren’t you guys the same age” HAHA it’s an inside joke between them since debut that han is felix’s “hyung” and since hes a day older than him and han would always be like i was learning multiplication and division when you were still learning subtraction and addition and if you watch their skz go episodes or whenever they would celebrate their birthdays you’d know what i mean also felix came to korea after finishing his freshman year i think? and han didn’t go to high school ig he said in an interview that he lived in malaysia for 6 years so yeah
I believe han just attend until elementary school and I don't know if he graduated too. Cause in the vlive when han and i.n he says that took Like a test for elementary school, JHS and SHS when he arrives in Korea 2017, basically he's already graduated early than other 00l. Cmiiw.
Ok the info i know is that han and Felix both finished school no letf to become Artist, han do some exam to graduate earlier and for lix he complete school in Australia and then he went to korea

That busy you yet might not have heard about Hyunjin's "ice.cream" (SKZ Record) or that Xdinary Heroes covered "Hellevator".
Oh, and Xdinary Heroes made a Choreo Video for "Test me" and Gunil made some moves from Stray Kids' Choreos, so you can tell how much he likes them. So adorable!
Yesss I have already reacted to the Xdinary heroes cover! Will be up later this week! And will be doing Hyunjin’s cover on Thursday 😍
24:30 pretty sure han only went to school for 6 years in malaysia and then made a deal w his parents that if he didn’t debut in the next two years then he would leave korea and go back to malaysia to finish school, and since he debuted im guessing that means he didn’t finish highschool
yeah, Han nor Felix finished school. I know Felix left school to go to Korea since they both debuted at 17
@@kendra1124 Im pretty sure Felix did finish high school before going to Korea.
they both finished school, felix did it before going to korea and Han took an exam to finish it early
@@lyandaespadas he was already in korea by the very start of 2017 which meant he would've only finished until year 10, he still had 2 more years of school to go
@@lyandaespadas sorry, i looked it up & it said he graduated early in 2016. crazy that he graduated at 15 years old.
49:57 omg i hope you searched who these characters are because they really do look like SeungSung a lot its so cute
for the high school thing han didnt go to school in korea and he graduated early so he was jealous of people that experienced korean high school
oh my god i thought i saw you at hallyu fest but I wasn’t sure
Ahhhhhh you should have come and said hi 😍😍😍
@@melaniereacts I should have 😭
you saying “aren’t you guys the same age” HAHA it’s an inside joke between them since debut that han is felix’s “hyung” and since hes a day older than him and han would always be like i was learning multiplication and division when you were still learning subtraction and addition and if you watch their skz go episodes or whenever they would celebrate their birthdays you’d know what i mean also felix came to korea after finishing his freshman year i think? and han didn’t go to high school ig he said in an interview that he lived in malaysia for 6 years so yeah
That’s so funny 😂
I believe han just attend until elementary school and I don't know if he graduated too. Cause in the vlive when han and i.n he says that took Like a test for elementary school, JHS and SHS when he arrives in Korea 2017, basically he's already graduated early than other 00l. Cmiiw.
