I wish you all would partner with Netflix, HBO, or some other company to create a show similar to Drive to Survive. It would be cool to see the guys at their clubs and playing for the USMNT building up to 2026.
If they did that then it wouldn’t come out this fast. On RUclips they can throw up videos like this as things are happening in real time. I prefer this more.
I have zero interest in watching anything on players from clubs the likes of Leeds, West Ham, Celta Vigo (Spain), because these clubs are inconsequential, you know they're gonna lose or place in a mediocre mid-table position, no prize, no glory, undeserving of respect, perhaps even the embarrassment of relegation fights or actual relegation. If they did a show like that, the only players that should be featured are the ones playing for "real", or top, or prestigous clubs that have reputations, a chance to win something or play UCL every year, and not lucky one-season wonders without reputations like Union Berlin or Leicester City. It would be embarrassing to treat (for example) a mid-table player like if he was some star, he didn't earn the privilege.
I don't think Weston gets enough credit for what he brings to the team off the pitch. His personality really glues a lot of these guys together. Flo seemed nervous at times. Weston would ham it up and draw the attention away from Flo. Flo was more chill from that.
If Weston doesn't earn his second chance at Juventus, and is sent away again to another cluster****, then his "personality" is irrelevant. In that case, he just looks like a guy who doesn't take his career or this sport seriously enough. Going forward, we don't need people like that on the national team.
@@KenDaKingArrives Damn, you're just a ray of sunshine buddy. You must kill it at parties. Wasn't implying that his form on the pitch doesn't need improvement. Just saying, if he is able to help Flo and others adapt to the team faster. There is a benefit in that.

Problem is they get to these clubs and don't have the ability to back the hype, so they struggle under the expectation. I don't think it's the work ethic of our players that's the issue
@@ZeroFamilon It's the insufficient training/coaching they get growing up, and/or the probable insufficient dedication to practicing growing up, and these kids may look up to the right players but won't accept or consider the sacrifices they'd need to make to be even a quarter as good. @@nFWAYGo ok, that's fine, but how about we focus on who has the job now instead of this revisionist history that a lot of people can't seem to let go? People are acting like Greg held the team back when he did the opposite for a pool that was at a really low point during and post Klinsmann. And, this is not even me backing Greg for a second term because I think we need to freshen up our ideas to move forward, but I'm not ignorant to the good things he's done that many would like to excuse away for what ever reason, or would have you believe that the team only won because of the players, which my retort would be if that was the case why couldn't we win whenever we wanted to? Point is, this pool is not where many think it is, yes there is talent, but we're ways away from competing for a semi final or final of a major tourney until our pool becomes impactful players at their clubs, not bench players or in relegation battles, etc.
@nFWAYGo well we'll agree to disagree because while Greg got some things wrong, not putting away easy chances turning the ball over in the oppositions half and having mental errors defensively did more damage in terms of us not qualifying higher in wcq and in the WC. And not qualifying first in wcq means nothing, it's a grind and just qualifying is the what's important and only the people who don't like Greg and who look to hold anything against bring up where we qualified, and tbh how many iterations if the USMNT have qualified first in its history? And finally, talent doesn't always equate to success, and the fact you keep mentioning talent instead of focusing how many of our players have regressed and can't stay healthy to me says you're more focused on management instead of player development, or lack thereof, bc these players are not where they should be or could be at this point but a lot of them are still really young
