Great video Kym! As an aspiring photographer in Melbourne, videos like these really feed my passion of F1 and photography! Look forward to shooting the cars at Albert Park next year.
I think the fact that the drivers want to talk to you or show you something is amazing! Bottas was clearly excited to do a little photoshoot of his shoes and I don't think anyone is complaining about that, those were some fire shoes. 🔥🔥🔥
Amazingly vibrant and energetic event! I thought it was nice that Sergio waved at the crowd when they were booing Lewis to say stop, and immediately the thousands of people started applauding instead! So nice that Sergio stood up for what's right!
Watching the paddock crush situation from home was uncomfortable, I was feeling it for the drivers. VB Shoes are amazing! I love that you get up into the stands with the crowd. Keep up the good work Kym and Stay Passionate!
It's incredible to see a Mexican like Checo make such an impact on a sport like Formula 1. More so it's nice to see Mexico in the limelight for this reason and not for others which we are more used to seeing. I know Checo is inspiring countless young people that not only reside in Mexico, but also those that live across Latin America and South America as well. I can't wait for next season and everything it brings and I hope to see him continue in Formula 1 just long enough for me to attend a Grand Prix and see him do his thing in person. Gracias Checo
Some of us will never get to be that close to all of that action and drivers, but your behind the scenes help us get a good glimpse of it all !!! Thank you for the work that you do! Awesome pics and video Kym.
As F1 fans, we love your content and your insights into the paddock. Love Watching you taking on more and more topics to add to your incredible photography work. A delight to watch you.
thank you kym for telling us about the behind the scenes for those of us who couldn't attend, as a mexican i feel so bad for the organization that the paddock had, i hope the next Mexican GP will be much better, i really love your videos and photos, i hope you enjoyed the atmosphere of the f1esta. Mexico is your home❤️
Hello Kym, a fellow photographer here. Really jealous of your possition at the F1❤, shows what hard work and dedication can bring..keep making awesome stuff!!
Thank you Kym for all your fantastic videos. My Son who passed away in November of 2021 was the one who convinced me to start watching F1 races. He was, as I am now, a huge fan of Checo. We would cheer him on every race. Your videos gave him and now me a great sense of being there and love your exacting commentary. Would love to be honoured with the signed print. Stay passionate,
The Mexican Grand Prix is just something else and the crowd's support for Checo was surreal! Would love to visit this track one day. Thanks for the behind the scenes!
Really loved your videos and it’s amazing to hear that the drivers adores you that they were able to share stories and have a little chit chat with you. When you are posting vids about the behind the scenes of a GP, I felt that you know every single person in the pit! 🤣 Keep it up, Kym! Thank you for giving us these amazing videos and for your hard work. Keep safe and sending love all the way from Philippines!💕
Nice recap. We had a blast in Mexico City. One of the highlights was grabbing a selfie with you. Bummed we missed the meet n greet. Thanks for all you do!
Hi Kym! I have been watching your videos for a while now and have loved your insight into the F1 world. Especially in Austin when I was at the track, it was fun to see your videos after and be like "I was there too". I am a big Checo fan and I think the collabs you do are super fun!
I’m Mexican and being away from home is hard but I love getting glimpses of what is happening at home. My uncle lives across the street from the race track and many years ago we use to be able to watch the cars drive by from the roof of his building before the trees grew. Love what you Kim Illman!
Great vid as always. It’s interesting to see how perceived familiarity with the drivers, based on seeing them up close and personal on DTS, plays out in different countries. Everyone loves the passion, but I’m sure the drivers would prefer the respect the Japanese fans show them at the same time as being so passionate. We are fortunate enough to get a glimpse of them in their workplace through the close access you provide for us Kym. The respect you give them is obvious, otherwise they wouldn’t be so familiar with you and give you so much of their time (Tiffany approaching you on behalf of Valterie is a case in point). We reap the benefits of that through your pics and vids! Thanks again for giving us a look behind the curtain.
Hi Kym, I really enjoy the photos you take at the various races in the season. It is nice to get different view perspectives in the paddock and on track. This is a sport where I have never witnessed so many aspiring and professional photographers bringing their expensive long lense cameras to capture the action. I can understand people getting excited and star struck but like you said, fans need to understand that they are people too and aren’t going to be able to satisfy everyone. How I would initially react if I ran into my favorite driver (Checo) is a mystery until I do. These drivers are not novelties to be had but people the deserve respect and I am sure they will show their respect in return if you set a good impression. The popularity is ever growing and there will be a learning curve to every venue to set the best security protocols and keep order at the key access points.
American fan here, you were one of the first channels I subscribed to when I started following F1 a couple years ago. Great content, love having a BTS every week. Keep it up!
Your the only channel that gives fans the most excellent tips on how to navigate around the tracks to see the drivers. You give us a good feel for what’s it like to travel to those locations. I believe that a little more footage and how you travel and your accommodations/ good and bad places to stay would help your fans even more. All enjoy your energy and story telling. Your attention to details that drivers are wearing, driving, family. How you explained the respect issues instead of glossing over it. Keep it up.
Hi Kym! I absolutely love your channel. I tripped across your What the F1 drivers drove to Silverstone video in July 2021 and haven’t stopped watching since. Before coming across your channel I barely knew anything about the behind the scenes of F1 and just wanted to say thank you for attracting so many people (including me) into the sport and to PHOTOGRAPHY. Last Christmas I got my first camera, I never thought I’d have to patience but I’m glad I started because I’ve captured so many memories and great moments. I’ve gained much advice and tips from your videos. Enjoy photographing the last two races of the season and have a great winter break! ~ Lily ❤️
Sooo cool! Thank you for all the insights! Loved to see Gignac with Alpha Tauri 😊. Also thanks for taking the time to do a meet and greet with your Mexican fans! 💚
Kym, Your photos are terrific but I think this video providing insights are even better for fans who cannot or have not been to an F1 weekend. It’s more informative than a heavily edited F1 or Netflix video. Thanks for doing this. Best, Juan
It's been great to see you grow from a mere 25k subs to over 200k subs now. You do a great job. Keep it up Kym. And by the way, you have a lovely family.
Cool to see the relationships you’ve built with the drivers. You’re a great example of photographers that do spectacular work while respecting those around them.
Thanks for the great content you're so consistently providing us of your travels and the f1 calendar. I love your very calm and collected influence among all the drama people are trying to stir.
I love trying to spot you on f1tv!!!! Love the inside look at the paddock (feels like I am there which is a dream). This video was so interesting- I hope that for years going forward the drivers have more paddock space and the security has to work a little less hard. Thanks for the great content. ❤️ from Canada!
This is the best behind and front of the scenes, video channel for motor sports on the internet. Great images from a great artist. Saludos desde Panamá.
As always thank you very much for everything you do with giving us the behind the scenes Kym. I think I can speak for us all with saying a big "Thank you".
Your insight is fantstic, I would believe that most of us F1 fans have a must do to follow you. Your enthusiasm and the quality of your work a highly appreciated combination. Nice t-shirt, unfortunately we weren`t able to see it in full. Many thanks!
It is always interesting to hear and see your personal perspective of what went on at a GP. You always seem to give us great information that we cannot find elsewhere. Many thanks David in the UK.
Thank you for the behind the scenes videos and incredible pics you post in your Instagram, tiktok and here in RUclips . I really enjoy the pics you post every race weekend especially the men and women of the paddock.
I absolutely love catching up on F1 through your videos, they are awesome! And must I say your photos are super amazing! I live in Singapore, went to Singapore GP, and got your Singapore GP photo book as a cool present for my Aussie family who joined me to the race. Hope you have a meet & greet in Singapore next year, big fan of yours 👍🏼.
Thank you Kym for this brilliant video! Very eloquent and informative. It's really awesome to get more information and a look into the behind the scenes of the F1 paddock.
I loved the way you tell us all the things that happened around the GP. As a Mexican that live in Spain and loved F1, it’s a pleasure to see all the photos you have taken in Instagram and the video with the whole weekend. You make me remembered from all the things how delicious are the mexican buffets jaja
Paddock access depends on F1 not on the Mexican GP organizers. Drivers were not at security risk at any time. They just were victims of Mexican fans who love the sport, the drivers, and any people involved with F1 because they are very well informed. This was Mexico City 60 anniversary since the 1st GP. Today by the the way is the anniversary of Ricardo Rodríguez death in that 1st GP in Mexico during P1. Great to have you in Mexico. Welcome and thanks for your great review.
Love your videos which give an insight to the unseen part of F1, especially great for those of us who sadly can't afford/make it to races, keep up the brilliant work!
I had the blessing of being back at Gran Premio de la Ciudad de México, after 33 years. Not had a chance to Meet & Greet you as we had different Stand location, but that turned to be the VERY BEST PLACE we could have because we were able to see and capture in slow motion, right in front of us when Checo passed Russel just at the very first lap... AMAZING!!! I surely believe Checo is a worthy contender against the the actual now 2 times DWC & the 7 times DWC, He finished 2.9 seconds behind him, at his Home Race, it is truly a victory. BTW, that Checo's signed pic would be for me a nice birthday gift...
I love the stadium section at the Mexico GP. The views must be insane. Then you add on the murals painted onto the tarmac. Amazing stuff. Deserves its spot on the calendar.
Love your content Kym all the way from Fargo North Dakota, USA!! I agree that this is the best podium in all the races. I love how they rise up. Amazing!! Thank you again for all the amazing content you provide and all the photos. They are amazing. I just had knee surgery and had to be out of work for a month but as soon as I'm back at work and making some money I promise to purchase one of your photos. I think I have the exact one Im going to purchase picked out. You are amazing and lots of love from Fargo, North Dakota!! 🧡🧡
Love the behind the scenes videos, great insight. Could see on tv that the paddock crowd was big and noticed Carlos getting hassled at one stage. Keep up the great work Kym.📸
Great video Kym! As an aspiring photographer in Melbourne, videos like these really feed my passion of F1 and photography! Look forward to shooting the cars at Albert Park next year.
Congratulations James! You’ve won the hand-signed Sergio Perez print! Reply to this comment with your email or Instagram handle and I’ll be in touch!
I think the fact that the drivers want to talk to you or show you something is amazing! Bottas was clearly excited to do a little photoshoot of his shoes and I don't think anyone is complaining about that, those were some fire shoes. 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much 🙏🏼☺️glad to hear that my shoes are getting the love they deserve. if you want to see how I made them, just watch my recent reel. 😎
Amazingly vibrant and energetic event! I thought it was nice that Sergio waved at the crowd when they were booing Lewis to say stop, and immediately the thousands of people started applauding instead! So nice that Sergio stood up for what's right!
Well Checo knows he can go to Mercedes at some point, smart guy 😂
Watching the paddock crush situation from home was uncomfortable, I was feeling it for the drivers. VB Shoes are amazing! I love that you get up into the stands with the crowd. Keep up the good work Kym and Stay Passionate!

The CEO Mexican GP had just said that FIA owns the paddock, so is up to them to solve it
Hello Kym, a fellow photographer here. Really jealous of your possition at the F1❤, shows what hard work and dedication can bring..keep making awesome stuff!!
You can do it to... just stay passionate (and dedicated)🙂
Started watching F1 much more closely in the middle of 2021. Now I cannot get enough of it. Love the content, Kym!
Cheers
Living vicariously through you Kym! Thanks for taking us into the paddock with you every week!
Thanks Kym for all the hard work and giving us behind the scenes access. Love your videos!!
I love your "resting-grin-face" Kym. Taking us behind the scenes adds a great perspective to our broadcasted feeds. THanks!

Can I have the photo🤣
They better get a handle on security in the paddock. Something terrible will happen if that madness continues.
One of these days it's not going to be an over exuberant fan that corners one of the drivers but some mental case with bad intentions
Really loved your videos and it’s amazing to hear that the drivers adores you that they were able to share stories and have a little chit chat with you.
