    we put refurbished clappers in the tenor, 5th and the treble bells as part of the restoration of the bells, the bells have been hard to ring for years and have gone unringable, soon they will be ringable again

      @trickyclown8249 because in some parts of Italy they 4ing the bell by hand,also at Easr Begolt the bells are in a ground floor shed next to the church and they ring them by hand with no wheels etc.
      Type in East Bergholt bells in youtube.
      A bit dangerous, I think.

      @@Steven_Rowe they take safety at at east Bergholt very seriously, i believe if im not mistaken for about 2 months, your not even allowed to touch the bells when your training to ring them

      @@Steven_Rowe it's true haha, in Italy we have many ways of ringing bells manually. This is somewhat reminiscent of the Bolognese system or that of central Italy (Gubbio, Arrone etc.).

    That Sanctus bell is tiny almost the size of a handbell
