Hi Taku I made this for dinner tonight, what an absolute winner of a dish! Soooo tasty, the combination of the minced beef, fluffy potatoes and super crunchy panko was really wonderful. The shredded cabbage and mayo also a perfect match. Your instructions and explanations are incredibly informative and easy to follow. I can't wait to try another dish from you.
Hello from England. We tried Japanese food the week before lockdowns started. Thank you for your videos and English translation. I am going to order a Japanese food tool kit and try your recipes out. Thank you once again.
Fond memories of these. When I arrived in Japan on a work & travel visa this was the first thing I ate. Arrived on a scorching 105°F/41°C day with 90% humidity, dragging 100 pounds of luggage through Tokyo to pick up the keys to my room. Arrived 2 hours later after getting confused by the subway map, turned on the AC and collapsed in front of it. Woke up 4 hours later from strange music outside and went to explore. Turns out I arrived during Awa Odori, and bought 2 of these croquettes from a street vendor. After that torturous day they were the most delicious thing ever.
Thank you for watching!! ご視聴ありがとうございました! It always takes time to develop new recipes, but this time especially took lot of attempts to achieve the great result that I am proud to share with you. But as always, this is so yummy. I mean I really want you to try it like my other recipes. I wish I can cook for you, but I hope you will try it and you can learn as much as I did!!!!
"I wish I can cook for you"...you are such a nice and passionate soul T^T. You're cooking looks great. I hope I can cook your recipies one day as gathering all the ingredients or finding replacements is quite difficult. Best wishes!
Like most fried stuff, these can be made in bulk and can freeze really well. Easy to pop in, preferably in a toaster oven to maintain a crispy exterior, for a quick snack or as a side dish.
Thank you for the another comment!!!! The reason I film at my balcony is that my kitchen at home isn't look good like other top RUclipsrs. lol It's just a pretty ordinary apartment kitchen. So I thought it isn't attractive . I wish I had a cool kitchen, but I'm glad you like my style !!
Hello Chef! I just want to let you know that your korokke recipe greatly inspired me and i did some improvements on the measurement and ingredients, its one of the best korokke i've ever had❤️ thankyou so much chef!

Panko is a Japanese word means breadcrumbs. But in overseas, It's understood as coarse grind breadcrumbs. They both normally made of white bread, and just blitz and boooom!! 👍
It's very nice especially the cooking style!! With the cheese inside its looking delicious.. In my place we make same like this one but no cheese inside .. We call it cutlet with more herbs in it!!
Hi Artichoke!! You can freeze in both way!! If you already fried some, finish them all and freeze as fried. If you haven't fried yet, just freeze without frying!! I like your name by the way!!
Thank you for the comment!!!! Those Gundam buddies are now my work mate lol Sometimes my daughters trying to touch them, and it's hard to explain that it's for my work!!! They think it's just a toy, (It's basically right but) and never give up to play with their Barbie doll house !!! What a headache...
Chef do you have any plans to make menchi katsu? I tried making it following a recipe from a book and it did not turn out very good. Then I tried making it from a RUclips channel... my family loved it but I felt it was bland and I don't like my breading having a burnt flavor. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi again Angel!! Menchi Katsu is in my queue as different viewers already requested!! It still takes a little while, but you'll see it in future for sure!!😉👍
Hi Mr mal!!! I think scallions works very well 😉 But coriander might not match well with the flavor from the Worcestershire sauce. So I recommend to stick with scallion my friend!!👍 Thank you for the comment!
@@CHEFSLABO I made it last week for my family and friends, though with limited ingredients for various reasons. And they all love it! A friend of mine even asked for the recipe. My mom is asking for me to make it again. I'm currently waiting for the boiling potatoes.

I would like to give you an advice, please don’t use this type music in cooking video, just use some soothing music or don’t use it at all.🥰

If I want to add some herbs into this recipe, will it be good? I think by adding coriander/scallions would be great 😋
Hi Mr mal!!!
I think scallions works very well 😉
But coriander might not match well with the flavor from the Worcestershire sauce.
So I recommend to stick with scallion my friend!!👍
Thank you for the comment!
@@CHEFSLABO thank you for the suggestion 👌
Great video. By the way, can I use other type of oil and fat like pig fat or vegetable oil?
Of course you can go with both of those TNT!!!
Is there any replacement for Worcestershire sauce ? Thanks
Hi Martinus!!!
Soy sauce can be a different choice for you 👍
So uh, question, is it possible to cook the onions then add then the beef while they are cooking?
Hi KirbytheGrape!!
Beef might not get colour, and onion might be burnt.
So I wouldn't recommend it my friend👍
What bread is better for the panko?
Hi Ana!!
Just use plain white bread!!
That's the best In think😉👍
Do people start coming over every time you cook LOL. 😁😁
Can all the seasonings be replaced with msg? Cuz that's the only seasoning I know beside salt.
You can use MSG to replace kombu sweety boy!!
But I recommend to follow the rest of those if you can 😉
