The conversations about the C8 is interesting. I have a twin turbo C8, built motor, heads, cam on 93 and methanol. It makes about 1050whp. The shop that did mine in Miami, VPS Racing has the record for the highest Horsepower (1400+whp). The biggest issue is the transmission still. The problem isn't necessarily them braking. It's getting the car to shift. The car from VPS doesn't like to make the 1-2 shift which kills the 1/4 mile time. Once that car gets back up and running he plans to go after the record at Bradenton. I do think the feel of these cars now is light years ahead of 2 years ago. But they still have a long way to go.
Grand Junction also has a drag strip. It would probably be too small for RMRW. It's also out of the way quite a bit for a drag week, but it would be a fun trip from Pueblo. You'd just run 50 through Canòn City, Salida, over Monarch Mountain, and through Montrose, Delta, and then land just outside Junction
Same. I don't have the time to watch a whole livestream and don't want to go hunting for a bunch of different channels and skip through 15 videos to find build info and stuff. 1320 always does a good job of putting everything I want to see in one video.
1320 usually only post vids of FAST cars and VERY VERY rare to see much if any coverage or interviews with slower cars that bust ass and struggle with less money and HP to go faster, be cool to see a video of only vehicles home built 9-13 second cars and odd ball/different builds
1320 and cooper please come to Berkeley springs WV airport no prep races 660 ft look it up. My buddy races his BBF with a big single there an Rankin races here
C8 Corvette is a lot heavier than the A90 Supra's. The C8 ZR1 uses the same basic DCT as the C8 Z06, but it is strengthened. Savagegeese did a technical deep dive with the engineers. Drag racing with VHT and drag radials/slicks is also super tough on drivetrains. I would argue that Chevrolet didn't really design/engineer the C8 as a whole to be a drag racing monster.
As a subscriber to the hambilton collection, he keeps his collection in illinois because he runs a rental service with them. He just has daily driver type vehicles in florida
So Porsche owns 51% of Manthey Racing, its kinda like the AMG of the Porsche world now. You can actually get MR racing packages on your Porsche new from factory, so yes I do think they count when they come to the Nürburgring list. The AMG GT while front motor is not a FR layout, its a front mid engine layout, so the Mustang GTD is still the only traditional FR layout car on the list.
Yes. I had a set and I broke one of the transmitter mounts (only affects camera users), so I was on the hunt for a new set and Kyle hooked me up with a set he had laying around. So Jimmy Dale was looking for a set of mics and him being a cell phone shooter, this problem didn't affect him, so I gave him my old set. RUclipsrs helping RUclipsrs! Gotta love it.
The cars have to be that bulky for crash safety reasons, its the same thing with american trucks how tall the front fascias are and why the hood line is so high
Cooper, is Whitty a professional photographer now? I still remember the comment you made in another podcast about never having on a professional photographer on even though Whitty had been on prior your comment.
I should have been more specific. I was thinking freelance. Witty is great at what he does. He is full time with 1320video so his challenges are very different.
9:43 There’s a new M3 Wagon getting down on the streets of NYC. Shipped over and gapped an M5! ruclips.net/video/Ljr7-sDM8jQ/видео.htmlsi=Qg7L0Kr2DtOOgr4h
If 1320 puts a video out, i don't care if I've already seen the event, I'm watching it

Coop you need to get Bil and Billy and Tommy and Allison from SRC, OMG and gen2garage on when they come down for the Christmas tree race

Interviewing driviers and tying their story into the bigger picture always keeps me coming back! The footage is always badass of course.
The Larry Larson photo you’re thinking of at 1:17:00 was his Chevy II I believe
1320 for the win
I'd like to see a behind the scenes or driver interviews from 1320 at cleetus's awd race

The stories media powerhouses have are the best
You need to have kyle and matt on. It's time they spill the 🫘
Kyle would never travel to Bradenton. You’ve never noticed how he’s done zero coverage at BMP in the last like 5 years?
Why won't he go to FL??

"Koeingsegg just says why does it have to be done that way?" There is a reason they are always in the shop.

Billy Hoskinson is coming to the christmas tree race. you need to have him, tommy and the old man on
Would love to see them cover some circle track racing like the bahama brackets 2025 at grundy county speedway.

I've had both a 6.0 and 7.3 Powerstroke with a ZF6 and I prefer the 7.3. The 6.0 is sluggish off boost
Good conversation
Coop, I think TTC gave Jimmeh his old mic set. Anyhow cool shit in this car family 👍🏻
