    9:27
    Work is a scalar quantity as the work done is same irrespective of the direction and only need the value or magnitude of F and s.
    Example
    1st case) when the force is applied to the right direction on an object (the s is also in the right direction then)
    Suppose, F = 2N
    s = 3m
    Work done= Fs
    = 2 × 3 => 6N
    2nd case) when the force is applied to the left direction on an object (the s is also in the left direction then)
    Suppose, F = 2N
    s = 3m
    Work done= Fs
    = 2 × 3 => 6N
    Thus we can say Work is a scalar quantity bcoz the work done is same irrespective of the directions.

    41:24 -: Kinetic energy cannot be negative because mass can never be negative and if velocity is negative then there is square on velocity so negative velocity changes in positive. Therefore, kinetic energy can never be negative.

    No, KE can never be negative as even if the velocity is in negative then its square will be positive.
    Example : v = -2, m = 15kg
    =1/2 mv²
    = 1/2 (15) (-2)²
    =1/2 (15) (4)
    = 60/2
    => 30 J

    Kinetic energy is the energy an object has due to its motion. It's calculated by multiplying half an object's mass by the square of its velocity. Since mass can't be negative and the square of any number is non-negative, kinetic energy can only be zero or positive.
