I couldn’t help but love this show. Pete could have walked away, but he had fallen in love with the family. Sure he smelled the money, but he always acted protective of the family, as if they were his own. I love how each of the family members are also crooked in their own way to some extent, and are motivated to protect their own. I look forward to season 3 to see how Julia uses the knowledge of Marius' true identity! I love your reviews, and always look forward to them. Thank you!

I would agree that season 1 is the better season. Season 2 took too long to get going for me on that the key characters of Pete's mum and Luka didn't join the show until ep 5 really. As such the first 5 episodes were too slow. I still liked it and there is easily another season in this where the family find out about the con. I assume that will happen in ep1 as its obvious that Julia has worked it out by the end. Ribisi is absolutely brilliant and the show is worth another season just for him.
Just finished this s2 tonight and gotta say ,once again, I was still quite pleasantly surprised but enjoyed the first season slightly better which makes me wonder about possible plot points and holding up the element of surprise for a possible S3? Cool review, Giovanni Ribisi rules and looking forward to more great character actors like Serbian Luka and the always awesome Margo Martingdale (Audrey).
margo martindale is awesome always :) and I didn't like season 2 as much as season 1 but still think it is one of the better shows out there and very excited for season 3!

@You4Euh So sad that a great show like Sneaky Pete gets cancelled but they green lit season 2 of The Rings of Power after it lost Amazon $1 billion dollars.
Season 2 wasn't good at all I just watched cuz of the villains and Ribisi I didn't care for any of the family members and stared rooting for the bad guys lol .Can't believe how in the end none of the family members got in trouble for doing the crimes they did but Ribisi who's a con man for a living didn't get away with it.

Too much story in num 2 i started to hate the family in the end and what a pointless oceans 11 thing in the middle for no reason

I just watched season 3 and I loved it, to me s1 and s3 are rounded and close to perfection s2 it's a little slow and over the top.
