I think for the same reason as Christmas leading directly to Epiphany. Just as Christmas is a time of feasting and celebration that leads directly to the revealing of Christ to the Gentiles, Easter is a time of celebration that leads directly to the pouring out of the Holy Spirit to bring all to salvation through faith. Both Epiphany and Pentecost are then followed by a time of growth leading toward a time of repentance and preparation with Lent following the season after Epiphany and Advent following the season after Pentecost.
@josephr.gainey2079 My pleasure. It’s something I realized as I edited the video that I didn’t mention and probably should have. That’s a video that should probably be made though so thanks for asking!
1:32. Why doesn't Pentecost have a similar prepatory season?

@graceanglicangastonia9076 That makes perfect sense. Thank you for taking the time to answer me!
