Dang! good work men! I loaded some 95s,90s,85s and an 80 or two. 14 total I believe. real nice transmission wood 9n that beautiful truck of yours. even got me a coffee cup! Bell pole, Newport, WA
Learned first hand when I was just a teenager working in the woods for Johnson Bros. in Concrete Wa. in the very early sixties. On one trip out we broke a pole that was around a hundred thirty feet. I could hear my boss praying and cussing at the same time and when it broke he hollered thats a five hundred dollar mistake that your gonna pay part of. There was no way that tree was going to make it but we tried. If we had bucked off about ten feet then we would of had something but the boss said no. I was almost happy when it broke but life goes on
*WOW!* I didn't know they even cut and processed logs that long! They must be worth a freaking Fortune to justify the hauling expense! I've got a million and one questions, how do they steer the back end? What do they use them for? Yada yada yada
Nick LaBrie I drive for them too. Super fun as far as trucking goes. There’s nothing like looking in the mirror at 130’ of pre stressed concrete beam cruising down the road.
Man and I used to think 75ft poles were a hand full. But I was hauling mine on a 40ft trailer. Took out a few Stop signs on those left hand turns. Would love to see more of this for sure.
This is insane...I play this game called Snowrunner and you can do some light logging but nothing like this...how the hell does the trailer follow the road so well being so far behind the truck, does it have a separate like hydraulic steering you can control or something? Edit: autocorrect screwed me lol
Blue Line Land Works my family and I were over at my in-laws cabin in kid valley this weekend and man it's good to see a bit more logging going on around! Good for everybody
@@BlueLineLandWorks Thanks! I'm in the timber industry and have hauled some 100+ year pine and hard wood. However, it gets sent to the lumber mills down here. I figured there was a explanation behind keeping them full length. Thanks again.
That’s lit time keep killing the trees it makes great videos also Mister blue land line works your drone is sweet and you’re pro at flying it and I think I might steel it !!!! #keep killin trees!!!
Those logs probably wont go to a mill, they will go to a differnt yard where they will be cut into logs buy a grader and be sold for veneer at a much higher dollar.
No, these logs are for giant power poles. They will be shipped to the Puget Sound where they will be treated and then shipped all over the country for power poles
The guy in that dolly thing has a lot of balls, very little visability, though you dont gotta worry about tailgaters because they seen that part in final destination. And you could take up both lanes if someone is being a dink behind you
Wait, the logs are the connection to the rear cart? Also, the big city near me has been building a team system for the last few years, i see the 100 foot concrete sections going down the highway. How do i get the job of being the driver of the cart?
Awesome video! I have been driving trucks for 16 years and I would be sweating bullets running that load, great driver and good team work. Can you post a video of the trailer car? How it works etc...
Pretty sweet setup. I have never seen anything like it. Also, Tree huggers: see how the little trees grow back after the timber is cut? Looks like good forestry management to me!
This is what I love about loggers, a normal person would say you can't get logs that long down that road and a logger says wanna bet. Awesome video.
Absolutely. Thanks for watching.
A logger says "hold my whiskey ans watch this"
The Higbee's if the nose of the truck fits the rest will follow.
Ever driven windturbineblades?
Great job keeping your equipment nice and clean, love the black Peterbilt!
Women... Always gotta be a back-seat driver!
lol
That's cool!
At first I was like, "those aren't switch backs"
Then I was like, "those are!"
Nice rig
Lol. Thanks for watching.
Still one of the best logging drone view vids on youtube
I never knew anything like that existed. That’s amazing
Thanks for watching.
They had steer trailers from about the twenties to the fifties, pictures online.
Wow!! By far the best video I’ve seen. That Pete was a beauty!!!
Next family vacation shall be planned to go see this in person.
Best video I’ve seen drone footage is spectacular. Thank you
makes the trucks look like toys :D

Great video! Going by the banks on the corners it looks like you have done a few loads out of there.
Skidder Kev yeah they have done quite a few.
Fantastic video man!! Loved it!
Man I was getting such a natural high watching this. Amazing edit.
Damn these comments are ridiculous lol

Nice video , but liked to see more video under the logs and from the pilot car.
4:28 The machine is really huge !!
Cool video... never seen that small cab in the back before
Nice 🚜

Almost like we were there... Very cool
Great video!
WOW! you could probably frame a few houses with all that tree carcass, nice!
I'm guessing telephone poles
That's bad ass good job
I would just stand them up on end, easy.
Save big money on 125 foot 2x4s at menards.
Hahahahahaha!!!
Wow
It was probably built by V. Van Dyke trucking out of Seattle. I use to drive for them and they build own steer cars.
Nick LaBrie I drive for them too. Super fun as far as trucking goes. There’s nothing like looking in the mirror at 130’ of pre stressed concrete beam cruising down the road.
5 digit dot number ,been around a while

Hey Dave when are you gonna let me drive that trailer?
Respekt,,,from Germany
that was great
No logging like that in northwest Indiana. Lol Is the trailer custom built or is it from a manufacturer?
Hey I know exactly where this job is Green mountain wa by Amboy off of pup creek rd
Nice video, but think the music is a wee bit annoying , maybe some engine noise in there as well would be better.
K I'll add some generic engine noise and a good old peel out ta boot
Is that one of the old Boeing steerable trailers?
I thought so at first but the Boeing dollies have doors for the cab. This one looks like a rougher build. Looks like its more stout though.
That's what I thought to. I'm pretty sure that was Boeing.
The speed at which they are travelling leaves a lot to be desired
Considering the logs are running into the bank I think they are going pretty quick.
I would like to see view from trailer cab.
Is there a demand for such long poles ?What are they used for ? Powerlines ?
Yes they are used for giant power poles
Dont mean to sound stupid
But why do they need trees so long???
What do they use it for that it has to be so long?
Very large power poles for cross country powerlines
This is insane...I play this game called Snowrunner and you can do some light logging but nothing like this...how the hell does the trailer follow the road so well being so far behind the truck, does it have a separate like hydraulic steering you can control or something?

If you rewatch the video you will see the truck drivers wife inside the trailer stearing it
@@BlueLineLandWorks ahh, I must have missed that part. Very cool

Josh Mullinnex south west washington.

That thing takes up the whole road and some
I've never seen one that has a driver underneath the back and I live in logging country too. Looks like a fun ride
They have hauled 135 feet
It looks like some sort of giant mechanical alligator lizard from the air looking down.
Amazing. Ive driven alot of trucks. But i would be happy riding shotgun with a cup of coffee. Checking this ooeration out
What type trees from Georgia
Cool. What are them long logs used for
Hydro poles.
Looking for cutting your logs ? Why don't come to blue line loging
What are the 125’ logs used for?
Giant power poles
It would be fun to put an engine on the rear carriage.
How do they run the breaks on the dolly ,can anybody help me out?
How much is costing so dolly what can steer?
Awesome work!!! What are those used for?
Giant power poles
@@BlueLineLandWorks ahhh....that's what I thought. In my area, Pennsylvania, they are usually metal. We don't have huge pine like that around here.
@@106pricey these are Douglas fir. We have metal ones and these. I'm not.sure how they pick which to use. These get hauled all over the usa.
kenworth trucks?
Why do these trees have to be hauled full length?
They are used for giant power poles all over the USA
Cause if you cut them apart they're hard to get back together.
@@BlueLineLandWorks Thanks! I'm in the timber industry and have hauled some 100+ year pine and hard wood. However, it gets sent to the lumber mills down here. I figured there was a explanation behind keeping them full length. Thanks again.
What are logs that long used for?
Giant power poles.
What type of drone do you use
Mavic pro
What they going to be used for...? You could have cut them in half.. ( Can't think of anyone wanting 125ft of 2x4.)
They are giant power poles used across the USA. The PNW is the only place you can get poles that big.
Look like a hundred 25 Footers 4 miles
125's 4 miles, the clearings looked like exellent regrowth thanks to the superb Drone footage
Well my old Woodwork Teacher used to say 'Keep it long enough for long enough'.... So the Electric Pole company will need a 125 foot Creosote Tank..
@@hiscifi2986 the creosote is in ground only ?and only the first several years then get the oil change

Lol actually I don't think she has any balls lol. Husband Wife team.
She has bigger balls than I do then.
I must say thats quite a nice truck
Balls of Steel and Tits of Titanium.
Godzilla VS Forest... 😬
How's that possible
So why are you hauling such long sticks out
Giant power poles
нахъя перевозить такие длинные хлысты?
holy shit there's a human riding in the trailer, that's gonna take alot of nerve!
Never see that
Loading mother earths hair onto the trailers, the stumps are what's left of the clipped hairs.

that beautifully forest, load trailer logs...
better should use a crane helicopter is more easily than on the dirt road
