Grew up in COGIC, currently in a multi, multi denominational organization that has just wonderful worship (musical and message); however, there is nothing like the thrill of the service that I grew up with, went to Memphis once a year and just loved. My dad was a pastor in the grand old church plus an evangelist, so contacts were many w/in and w/out organization. OK...bottom line: I like!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

As a drummer, I love the shout tracks and any other drum track. The tracks act as a perfect tempo keeper for those who can't clap on the correct beats when shout music is played.
This is amazing!! I love Marvin Winans and his ministry of music. This is a pretty cool clip of him doing what he does best. I notice all the comments on here from loonies, from people who either are not believers in God nor this particular faith, (i.e. pentecostal), and/or who just simply do not like Marvin Winans. I guess my question is....why do you comment then??? Why in the Sam Jones do people sane or insane comment on something or someone they do NOT like. Ahhhh.....the beauty of "internet/cyberspace". And I want to make sure I am doing it right. I just applied what I learned at PC and using it where I play. you have been a great example of what worship is suppose to be. people never know who they are teaching when we sit in the pews.
In the eyes of nigel alot of leaders have failed in the eyes of the public so he can feel how he wants. But Nigel when believers pray they pray for people across the world homey. When prayers go up they extend to everyone. Yes the llittle child in Africa needs prayer. Since you are blessed Nigel with health and strength get to prayin fam.
I said "We Don't Need No Music" one time during Praise & Testimony Service and the preacher said "Well I like me a little music" HAHAHAHA I laughed hard that day
I also play with headphones. Now in the studio, I most definitely use a click track. There's nothing wrong with playing with a rhythm track or playing without it. It's all up to the individual drummer.
I can still do all of that creative stuff with a shout rhythm track. The tempo is just perfect. I'm not on here to bash those who don't use rhythm tracks or minimize there skill and talent level.
