So let me get this straight. I don't know how many times I've rewatched The Office thanks to The Office Ladies podcast. NOW thanks to this, I have another reason to go back and listen to my favorite podcast all over again! I LOVE this!!!!!
@@bradws4eva YES! Jenna and Angela aka Pam and Angela have been breaking down each episode of the Office for years! It’s amazing! Look up “Office Ladies!”
I usually listen to every Office Ladies podcast the day it's released and I absolutely love it but these animations bring the stories to a whole other level. I wish y'all would/could do entire episodes. These are great! Please continue.
First time I've seen this and I'm impressed. Great banter and chemistry they've got together. They should present TV shows or do podcasts or something. Entertaining
I respect that she learned early to accept her Star Wars disinterest. I actually felt something was wrong with me because parades and circuses left me cold. It was so freeing when I FINALLY realized I was just born that way.
This is my new JAM! I love the chemistry between these two how adorably cute angela is and this honest, cool friendship these two have, puts a smile on my face thanks girls!
I love that they chose the Han/Greedo cantina table for the star wars conversation and sat Angela in the Han seat. It adds just a bit of tension to her disappointment.
10:03 I love Angela's reaction to Jenna's movies, and Jenna's reaction to Angela's movies. I can totally relate to it whenever my friends and I try each other's shows and movies and whatnot 🤣
The best part of the intended AND executed versions of the cold opening are two different but incredibly effective examples of comedic timing. The intended one sounds hilarious for how drawn-out it’d have been, the ACTUAL one is so abrupt and blunt that you can’t help but laugh
I always hated Angela while watching the show which means she did her job well. It wasn't until years later I watched old Craig Ferguson late show interviews with her and she's great lol.
10:02 "Come to my annual viewing of the edge,... 😱😱- and in return, I'll come and watch Star Wars with you", I.E. sit and sleep next to you in the couch while you watch it 🤣🤣
as someone who doesn't listen to the office ladies podcast: 1) i knew that Real Angela was a very different person from The Office Angela, but it always amazes me how different. i _never_ would have thought she'd be a sci-fi/fantasy nerd 2) this is is so different from the always sunny podcast
This is the best animated podcast since The Ricky Gervais Show. There's actually (or was) a long running BBC radio/TV series called "I've never seen Star Wars" where celebrity guests are challenged to do something that they haven't done but most people have. Lauren Lapkus watched Star Wars for the first time for her podcast: Newcomers.
I was crying two minutes ago, and then the doctor ambushed Jenna and gave her a shot and then he disappeared and came back up again with a lolly and I forgot why I started crying in the first place. Thank you.
I fully relate to Jenna for falling asleep during Star Wars. I’ve seen all the movies multiple times but there’s not one that I haven’t fallen asleep during, even in theatres.
I heard about this podcast but didn't think I would be interested because I already knew so much about the office. This was hilarious and who knew Angela (which is her real name) was such a nerd like Dwight's character. She knew some deep cuts into the fantasy lore that blew me away. I am now adding this to my podcast list and listening from the beginning.
I have never watched an ep of the Office to the end, but the promise of these two doing movie commentaries is enough to get me to subscribe and watch their podcast.
Pete Holmes said it best. Can't get into something with realms. If there's a line in the movie that goes..."In this realm...". Pete Holmes can't get into it. Funny stuff
I checked the 9:16 point in every episode through (and including) season 5 but didn't see the scene she described. So does anyone want to check season 6 and on?
I feel the same way about Star Wars as Jenna. But I've actually seen the movies. But I love the Lord of the Rings. It greatly disappoints me that she hasn't seen The Lord of the Rings movies.
I am 100% with Jenna on the fantasy genre. It's the exact same thing I've said for years, I don't want to learn all the "rules" of the new made-up universe (especially when they will sometimes just break add some arbitrary new rule that nullifies the old rule to get past a plot point), blah blah blah. Not interested, never will be interested, I'm not missing out on anything. So glad to hear someone else say the same!
I love how Angela answers "Kashykk" (or however it's spelled) without hesitation when Jenna mentions she doesn't know where Chewbacca is from.
It's Kashyyyk
I am glad to see another nerd chime in with the double-Y!
@@narfle Triple, if I may! ;)

Angela's response to Jenna not being into fantasy and not liking Lord of the Rings or seeing Star Wars was so relatable.
It really was!! I’ve gotten that reaction for decades. 🙁 Although, at least I’ve actually seen most of them.
Angela's incredulousness at Jenna not seeing Star Wars is adorable! The fact that she knows where Chewbacca is from is pretty awesome.
This is why Dwight n Angela worked so well 😹😹😹
I don’t even like star wars and I knew the answer. It’s not a hard question.
@Justin Coleman You might be a nerd then. I like the Star Wars movies okay, but I didn’t know that.

I think the funniest/coolest thing I learned in this clip was that Jenna does a yearly watch of The Edge!

Angela bein such a nerd and fantasy/sci-fi fan makes her way more attractive to me somehow. And she was already cute.
