  • In this episode, I'm exploring the remains of the abandoned Jamesville Cement Factory in Syracuse, New York. A large portion of the factory has been demolished for some time, leaving behind only the massive old cement silos- long abandoned and full of incredible forgotten relics serving as a reminder of the industrial era that once was.
    Let's explore!

Hey, I'm back! Remember me? As soon as the video opened, I was reminded of a time when I was brand new at the fire department and someone driving a FULL cement truck decided to take a shortcut. Unfortunately, they drove down an unpaved road that was on a hillside and the truck rolled over, spilling the cement everywhere. The truck I'm told is still there because removing it from the spilled cement holding it into the ground far exceeds the value of the scrap metal.
7:06 - Fire pole that? How'd you know that I had the same thought? lol 🚒
7:45 - 8 inches of reinforced concrete is code in most places, even for residential foundations.
10:30 - I should probably mention that I have no fear of heights, so long as I'm on a stable surface.
    Great video!

Oh I remember you! Slower start to the video than usual, I’m trying something new so I’m really hoping the video doesn’t flop!! This was different from my usual style so glad you enjoyed it- that is a crazy story. That must have been a jaw dropping sight to see that just flip over. Wish I was there 😂
7:06- tbh I would have used it to escape security if it was necessary
7:45- I did not know that was a code, I will not forget that going forward. I guess it makes sense with how much weight it bears.
10:30- Good, on our explore let’s get wayyyy up there. Excited for the eagles nest soon:)
Thanks for watching as per usual- I’m currently on a big trip exploring some really insane places so I’m hoping the views turn around soon!!

For some reason I didn't get the notification for this video, despite having the notifications turned on, but aside from that let's explore 🥂🗿
2:20 those control panels are so old they don't even remember when they worked 😂😂
2:48 always cool to see those
4:01 that fly became a motor
    5:38 my gosh that's scary
8:03 this place descends to hell 😂😭
8:58 it's cool that those things will never stop spinning
9:44 this place has more holes put into it than Nikki Minaj 😂😭
10:48 don't worry like I'm afraid of heights too brother 😭😂
13:20 bro became cement man 😂😭
15:15 so glad you guys didn't get caught! But how long were y'all hiding for?? And beautiful view
Overall great explore brother looks like it was alot of fun!!

You da best tev, thanks for always being there. Prolly wouldn’t go back to this place though, it’s cool but pretty dangerous to climb on. I didn’t think my viewers would wanna watch this one so I had RUclips figure out who to send it to! Just an experiment. You da best bother

I never thought those silos would be interconnected like that and it looks like a giant maze. You're right about the cement and the screw style conveyers...they spin the cement as it travels to keep it mixed properly.
Was that buzzing noise added in or was that fly THAT loud? WOW man, never seen anything like that before!
Seeing all that dried concrete in there was wild, especially the mountain at around 6:18 then shortly after that the chain shaft.
Also pretty crazy seeing actual trees growing on the roof there! That roof edge shot literally would be me man...I don't have a huge fear of heights but edges don't mix well with me lol.
Glad you made it out without getting caught and another awesome explore man!

I was pretty disappointed they didn’t have a ladder in the second silo set. Really want to get up there. Other than that it really was like a maze, and pretty gross down there too.
I didn’t add the noise believe it or not, I just amplified it a little but all natural but it’s crazy that this happens every day in nature.
I was nervous as heck bro, I really was shaking there I’m surprised I got half decent content to begin with😂
Thanks for watching man, your support means a lot. Hope your having a great week

@@TheLukeExplores I was bummed to see that too. All that for a dead end. The video still turned out great and yeah, it did look pretty nasty in there.
I thought so and I'm glad you amplified it because nature is pretty crazy.
I would've been doing the same. I'm cool climbing and and down but roof edges I stay away from if it's that high up.
Week went good thanks, sounds like the same went for you my man. Now to watch this video 1000 more times if that even is a thing 🤣

I went there religiously when I was younger between 2007 and 2010-ish. many of the buildings have been demolished, and there was very little graffiti when I was younger. there were some buildings that house showers and bunks one building had in an entire metal shop. I have many photos. And the spiral staircase and many other stairwell and ladders were fully intact and you had full access to anything. local law-enforcement have prevented many people from going there now. I am so grateful to see a video of this relic. also, there were some very old trains on those tracks years ago, and I still have the train horn off of one of them.

Thanks for the comment- I’d love to see some of those pictures if you wanted to connect via instagram or email. I would have loved to see other buildings on the property- tbh I was expecting to see a little more than we did. I also wish we got to climb up to the top of the second silos but oh well! Sometimes that’s urbex. Thanks for watching :)

Holy crap this was awesome!! Glad you were able to evade and escape security ...did that ledge walk in the dark really just happen?!😮😢
It's a shame you missed the actual sunset, but you had plenty of gorgeous golden hour and twilight views. Really cool industrial fun here! I generally don't mind heights; wit a handrail or a parapet, no big deal, but just looking over the edge got me anxious; not quite sure I could handle my legs being over the edge.
Thank you for another epic video, stay safe out there! 👍😁

Heck yes I was wondering when I’d see you pop up! Video started out slower but is picking up now, we did in fact evade security but tbh all we had to do was just wait a bit. I’ll tell you though, climbing down those silos in the dark was NOT fun. Not at all. Also Lucas was the only one to go on the ledge, I still have my Luke explores limits! I was shaking up there, tbh I’m good I don’t need to go back 😂 so glad you enjoyed, thanks for the comment once again. Ghost hunt live stream tonight if you can make it, if not new video on Friday:)

This is probably the best video I’ve seen on this factory. They knocked down the bottom row of the stairs but there’s a way to get to them still from one of the lower roofs. Can’t believe you climbed up the way you did you guys are nuts 😂😂. Also ballsy as fuck for not wearing any masks. I would hate to see them demolish this place after seeing them demolish the asylum as of recently. If you are still in this area please contact me because I got some cool places you guys would love to explore!
