The first album is SO amazing it’s always mystified me as to his songwriting process. Now I feel like I have a waaaay better understanding of his genius. 🎉
Such a simple song that Robber Man, yet is such a banger with every listen! And Something I Said, this specific version might be my favorite version, something about it in its unfinished version feels majestic. It feels like Mavers put his heart into that one judging by the way he sings it. Dunno maybe thats just my thought process 🫶🏽
All AI did was split the instruments up a bit. Not very well either. I'm still taking more credit than AI, hehe. Though it's a good tool. And of course, the band here... Fantastic. The fact this is off what is probably a video tape is incredible
Moby Grape. That's it. The missing La's link. Put on Hey Granda Ma, the chugging guitars and harmonies are there. Do ya know if Lee ever named checked them? Ta very much very the great music.
Ok. Anyone else here it?! Apparently they were at least partially inspired by Bryan Adams’ “Run to you” 13:10. Or if they’re like me they hate his songs and were making a joke about how this song reminds them of THAT song. Funny
Wreckless was a good album by Adams who was touring UK late 80s and put a message over the radio when he was playing in Liverpool to Jam with anyone dont know if anyone took him up on his offer?@@nobletrashspencer

We were absolutely robbed of Mavers’ genius 😢
/blessed with it!

Perfect timing Tone.. 👌🏻 merry Christmas pal
Great find 👍
Hoping to embark upon a documentary with Lee. It’s the great mystical musical story that needs to be finally told. 🎼.x
Oh I love that mate! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help! Best
someone has too
Much needed
Brilliant news, but the simple fact remains that 16bluesherbert90 is the most adorable and beautiful of all the women 💕❤.
An unsung genuine genius
Thanks for this Tone, I NEEDED this at Christmas, you're the King
Second best album ever made!
Great stuff. Always loved the demo stuff.
Christmas has come early. This is excellent, thanks so much for this. (In case you missed, there is a cut at 0.30, which isn't on the source I have).
There were two versions of this. Lost is Coco Daddy. I lost it myself, though the sound quality was worse
Wow! I’m going to study this. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Is this by any chance Tonela who posts on RAWK ?
She Came Down is so fuckin' groovy man... take it on easy... easy rider!
Nice one pal you always turn up with the goods. Happy Christmas xx
That bassline in Robber Man..! ❤
Sounds amazing remastered Tony la 😂
Cool to see that mixing desk is up for auction soon. No mention of it being used for these sessions.
Where did you see this about the desk? Cheers
What a channel
Niceee i wonder how long til AI can make perfect studio versions of these songs for us 😂

Totally, Moby grape what a band.
Where's that bass drum pic from?
Looks like a museum, I'm guessing in Liverpool.
I want to know as well! Good q!

Liverpool Museum on the dock has a music part on the second floor and here this sits.

@@ToneLaIts odd how its not in the music museum in the Cunard with all the other pop parefenalia!
Could you do anything to clean-up the Lee Garnett excerpts?
Nah, there's not much there.
@@ToneLa ah fair enough, the chord progression / rhythm of Feel Like I Know reminds me a bit of Breakloose. Never Gonna Stop is a nice melody too
Go go Daddy's missing
where is that photo taken?
