+1 for the ballistic helmet. Combat is a full contact sport. if you are playing on a two way range you have to protect against ballistic threats. For everyone who says the weight isnt worth the sacrifice... duck down behind cover...now peek out with your rifle...have your buddy look at your tactical profile (what part of you is sticking out?)...seems your head is a large portion of what's actually exposed. Now, as to the "they'll only shoot me in the face" crowd... get down in the prone...repeat having the friend look...suddenly the top of your head is exposed. And just for fun...try to imagine that your two way range also has height...now enemies will take shots from above and to the sides. Short answer...if you need plates, you need a real helmet.
@JadedJet Hmmm? Perhaps? FWIW I served four tours of combat. And, the way things are going we may see some of that here in the states if we can't find some peaceful solutions soon. Thank the Chinese for not gouging the average American.
@@SuperXrayDocIf you’re getting IR splashed you’ve already messed up.
Tacticon armament ftw. Quality American made gear priced for civilians.
Do you actually have one? How you like it?
@@Jordan-ql6tm I was actually lucky enough to get one while the small supply of them lasted. It fits nice as a helmet can I’d imagine. The inside pads have adjustment so you can get the pressure spots to a minimum. All in all for what I paid it’s great. But I don’t believe you should have to go out and buy Gucci gear because operators use the same named stuff. I’m just an everyday joe with decent income lol
@@bass_life2177 well said lol, brand names mean nothing to me anything can break or fail. just want something that'll preform as advertised and hold your kit properly lol.
Head like a cube 😂
