    Why calc. method for value of derivatives during contract period is not matching with Schweser's books? In example of 49.d.. Value of Fwd during the contract period is So - Fo / (1+r)T-t... but here in this video you are not taking T-t.
    Can you please help me with this @Fintree?
    I am referring this from Dec 2020 exam books!

    At 29:20 why do you multiply with 1.10^0.75 and not 1.075^1?

    • @chetansingh7236
      @chetansingh7236 3 года назад

      That's because interest rate does not change rather u have to calculate the value for 0.75 yrs @ 10% p.a.

    Hi, thank you very much for this. At 26.01, do you mean to say 'Future' instead of 'Forward' ? Thank you !

    • @aashishchandak6995
      @aashishchandak6995 7 лет назад

      It's forward only bcz we have delivery clause only in forward. Instead of stock think of any commodity, u will get ur ans

    How Long will be in a Bullish Position?
    Don`t you think that Long Expect the prices to be low
    Same Question with respect to short position?

    • @satyam7299

      Jawad Mustafa long means you are buying at a PRE DETERMINED PRICE as of here .. and you wish the prices to go up so that you make profit which otherwise go to loss.. I hope you understand mate... derivatives are confusing at times.

      In cfa level 1 there is no calculation for derivatives..it's a theoretical chapter.
