- Finally! From paper to reality. It was good to see the curves of the roof truss gussets come to life. Their grain was tight and resinous and soaked with whatever horrible chemical they use to treat lumber under pressure. This was definitely not my favorite part of the workshop build so far. But it will certainly be the defining characteristic of the entire project.

Watching every episode great series 🗿🤙
I know this is a mobile workshop but kinda be cool to have one as a camp trailer too!!!!
Very attractive and strong!
I love fairing, it felt like a massive puzzle piece to me when I learned it at boat school. It’s such a lovely way of creating beautiful objects that are cohesive to the eye. I’m glad to see you doing such a wonderful job at it.
Nice work looks great.
A couple Stained Winders , and Ya'll have a Wedding Chapel !
It's like the inside of the bilge of a boat. 😊
You are a genius and it’s so amazing the way you think about doing things. I love your work. Incredible.
looking like the ribs of a boat!
Very cool
The way these are now, all of the downward force of anything you put on the roof is going to be held up by the sheer strength of 1 screw from the bottom of the rib to the sidewall.
If you notched the vertical posts on the wall and recessed the rib into the post, it would then transfer the load to the workbench underneath.
Taking shape and coming together nicely!
To me this has a lord of the rings the shire kind of vibe. Very sort of the hobbit ish and awesome looking, also nautical because that is something you would expect on the old pirate ships!
Looking good Marty. I like the curves. I also like your use of what we would term a Flapdisc on an angle grinder to sand wood - wouldn't have thought of that! One thing that would concern me is if those curved trusses are going to support the shelves/cabinets, is one screw top and bottom going to hold them? I'd be tempted to add a metal plate like you did from the metal roof beams down to the wood ones.
Keep 'em coming - Stay safe & well. 👍👍
I love your fishing video also your wood working
Looks like like Noah’s Ark…..I mean Arc.😂😂
Nice whale ribs 😊

Looks like you are in a whales ribcage- trailer name: the whale one.
Mornin 🖐😎👍
Marty, how are you doing? I’m one of your followers. Your trailer looks now like the inside rib cage of a whale. it’s looking super cool. Keep up the good work.
I’m always concerned that all his additions are adding too much weight on these projects.
Looks like you're inside the whale
Marty, you look like you don't feel good.
Should withstand the snow load!
