One lesson I've learned from millionaires is to always put your money to work, no matter how small. Even investing $100 per month can compound to tremendous wealth over decades. The key is to keep going!
My advice for who wants to grow financially this year, invest. Saving is good, but investing elevates your finances. Thanks to my financial advisor, my portfolio is thriving, and I'm proud of last year's decisions.
People often don't realize how important financial advisors are. Data from the last 50 years shows that people who work with advisors usually earn more than those who don't. I've worked with a financial advisor for 13 years, and now I have a $2 million portfolio.
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since everyone's situation varies, but I've worked with "ZAREEN GRACE CHURCH for years and highly recommend her. See if she meets your criteria.
There are a handful of CFAs out there. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I’ve stuck with ZAREEN GRACE CHURCH for some years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s known in her field-look her up.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@WitaRehbaum The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimization. Large changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. But in general, ETF or not, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I want to invest about $60k but I'm not so confident about my abilities yet.
I have greatly grown more than 45% this year already, though my FA has advised we diversify going forward. But safe to say a growing market does not always mean that the economy is smooth-sailing, but yeah, we can as well enjoy while it lasts.

Melissa Terri Swayne is the licensed advisor I use and im just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
I Hit 110k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started last month 2024. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Charlotte Grace Miller for helping me achieve this
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Charlotte Miller, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. started this journey with 6k. I have invested on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me
I just withdrew my profits a week ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet I wish I could reinvest but, too much bills
Inflation has a more immediate effect on people's quality of life than a stock or real estate market meltdown. It should come as no surprise that the current market sentiment is so pessimistic. We desperately need help if we are to survive in this economy. Like the property market, the stock and ETF markets continue to be wildly volatile. My $350k" portfolio has been reduced to rubble.
During this time, many people are still seeing profits on their investments. All you need to do is stay really grounded or get professional assistance.
I think investing was more simpler in the 1980s, but it's much more difficult now. Professionals are the ones that continuously make money, which is why I've been working with an advisor for the past five years to steadily increase my portfolio in anticipation of retirement.
Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.
How about just one ETF, that beats your DGRO/QQQ pairing? Not only that, it has a .13%, lower than your two fund portfolio. SPMO, would have earned substantially more and is still just as diversified into the S&P500. You don't need more than that level of diversification unless you want to target a specific sector of the markets. But not sure why you would when this one already makes more than you're likely to earn on another fund. I've not found one that has done better yet.
@Josh10815 Growth/Dividends is a game changer! VGT is all Technology/AI Large, Medium and Small cap this strategy will capture all opportunities in this sector. SCHD is slow and steady and pays a quarterly dividend I currently hold 16k shares of SCHD and 500 shares of VGT and I'm extremely happy with my results! Please don't take my word do your own research!
@@Josh10815Using the power of compound growth and reinvesting dividends received over a long period of time. Look at the Total returns of VGT over 1 year, 5 years and 10 years. Then add SCHD which you can use the dividend snowball effect to generate income from the dividends.
Anything other than ultra short term bonds are garbage. Financial planners love to push aggregate bond funds....useless...no hedging properties whatsoever. Better off getting a blue chip index fund to replace bonds or Berkshire Hathaway (or any low beta etf). Bond is a 4 letter word.
Thanks for the breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
More immediately than a collapse in the stock or real estate markets, inflation directly impacts people's standard of life. It is hardly surprising that the present market attitude is so negative. If we are to live in this economy, we are in dire need of assistance. ETF and stock markets are still unpredictably volatile, just like the housing market. My $350k" portfolio has been reduced to rubble.

VGT/SCHD
SCHG/SCHD
JEPQ/SCHD
