After 4 miscarriages i was able to carry my son(my miracle full term) I can relate to your story so much. Yes i shed tears when i watched your story. So happy for you and your family. My baby shower wasn’t a surprise and it was absolutely amazing. The theme was Mango Seed Faith. After Allll I have been through mustard seed wasn’t enough faith for me. God is truly amazing. Very happy for you. May I please offer this; Some women are able to conceive and carry a child without difficulty. Others like you have a difficult journey to motherhood. However, all of the beautiful children born are miracles. No one child is more special than any other because of the path that their parents took to become parents. I know full well that there are people who don't appreciate the gift of motherhood but too many don't appreciate any of their blessings. Peace and grace to you and your family.

Fun fact! I planned my own baby shower, guest list, food, theme, colours for my baby boy and looking back I wouldn’t have done it any differently! I had a advice book where experienced mothers could leave messages of encouragement or tips when raising a baby, best idea ever 🎉. Ever is so gorgeous!

I never comment but I couldn't help it after watching this video. Adrienne, I have been following your journey for years now and it helped me get through my own infertility challenges. After 6 years of trying and failed attempts, I had my baby through IVF last year and my baby girl was born Aug 2nd. When I heard you were blessed with Ever around the same time, I cried tears of joy for you and your family. I'm so happy for you and want to say thank you for sharing your journey and being so courageously outwardly hopeful. Happy 1 year to Ever and to you on being an amazing mama! ❤

I totally get everything that Adrienne said. But I must say, I thank God for His Gift of natural wisdom, grace and MOTHERHOOD. None of the THINGS are that important. We live in a society that is so materialistic and pepple are attention starved. And people wonder why they are not given BLESSINGS up-front and naturally. A lot of double talk, I get it...human nature.

I loved this video! As a mama of a 7 month old, I can attest to how crazy it is - and that no one can prepare you for - how quickly your baby grows. Also, who agrees that Adrienne literally looks the most beautiful that she has ever looked!? You are GORGEOUS, girl!

Unfortunately, my mother-in-law ruined the planning of my baby shower so it wasn't anything like what I wanted but I was grateful for the people that put it together and came. Do motherhood your way. If you want small and intimate that's how it should be for your celebration.

Happiest of birthdays Ever! My daughter’s 1st birthday is 8/19 and we had her after infertility as well via IVF. I was getting ready to write her 1st birthday letter and I just lost it. God is so good. Totally stealing the prayer tree idea for her 1st birthday ❤️❤️.

Motherhood looks so good on you! What a blessing! Yalls story just warms my heart! As far as what I did for a baby shower…I had a post birth baby shower after my son was born because I had a rough pregnancy. We called this baby shower a sip and see and it was jungle themed. We did have an activity in where everyone went around the room and said who they were to my baby and words of encouragement. Next time around I want do something intimate like you. Maybe including some worship. ❤

I think actually doing something simple and intimate IS the greatest thing you are doing FOR your boy. I think the big parties are for the guests, the intimate and small celebrations are actually for the person who’s being celebrated, especially if that person is 1 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Didn't have a prayer tree but we set up a table for everyone to decorate a onsie with a quote... so everytime we changed our baby we had a word to pray over him. Knowing it came from our loved ones really helped us stay present and intentional throughout his first year of life!
The prayer tree kinda reminded me of the wish tree that was in the cheetah girl's one world movie.... it's actually crazy seeing this come back full circle

I love the prayer tree! One of my first jobs was as a Prek teacher and I used to have a prayer tree in the classroom and have the parents write their hopes and dreams for their children throughout the year.
Such a spit up little snuggles. May God bless his going out and his coming in everyday of his life.
Low key, core family is the way to go because you can stay in the moment. No attending to guests, no other hosting duties just being mama and celebrating the milestone. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of these moments. P.s you put that tattoo spirit on me!! I have 5 but hey what’s one more ❤
I’m excited about the simplicity of his birthday celebration. Extravagance comes when the child is school age maybe kindergarten or older. Then of course you know you have milestones double digit preteen teen age I’m sure you’re not ready to think about all of that. Continued blessings
