I think you can’t deny the context this song exists it. It very much pairs with the theme of parasyte which “what does it mean to be human” To be so powerful and be the winners of the earth and yet be so fragile and easily broken at the same time. The first line of the song is loosely paraphrasing the manga. Humans destroy the earth, what if there were less of us, would it be better? Something should be done about this. Human beings are predators, we don’t have any enemies, what would we do if something wanted to beat us down. And really, the parasites are a metaphor for humanity. They consume, they control, they dominate, they fight to survive. and yet weirdly enough there seems to be some humanity rolling in there. They have to the ability to become more. Look at Migi, look at that chin parasite, look at the parasite woman, (forgot her name), who gave birth to a baby she could never bring herself to hurt and then when she dies the baby cries because the baby doesn’t care that it’s mother isn’t human, it’s mother just died. What separates humans from animals and parasite and what are you gonna do with that privilege.

IT is a highly underrated anime. I remember seeing it for the first time on Animax at the time it had just started airing. I was about 10 so I did not watch it (only for a few minutes, maybe). So I decided to watch it now. And it is justtttttttttt wowwwwwww❤❤❤ A brilliant masterpiece!

this op is very suit to be in Parasyte, very suit to be. the english part mention that we as human have no mutual threat bcus we are much more smarter. but there is something or someone will always think that even human can be beaten. thats why the parasyte comes in and basically killed off humans as humans are overpopulated the world. even oso, this also show that even alien have feelings too. what i like about this series is that, love and being loved is not just in human being but it is in all of the living being we humans are at the top, but something will always think about how to beat us down.
Broken English aside, this song made me realize how powerful humans really are. If humans were to start a war against all carnivores on earth, we would just destroy every single one of them without even losing more then 1000 lives. Broken English aside, this song made me realize how powerful humans really are. If humans were to start a war against all carnivores on earth, we would just destroy every single one of them without even losing more then 1000 lives. If you think about it, we even keep endangered species in captivity, imagine being kept hostage in a cage by a being far smarter than you just because they would feel bad if they were to kill you. I'm not proud of myself for much, but I was 100% accurate, kept it to myself for a long time, I appreciate how hard it is to pick apart words from sheer sounds now. This is my favorite single by any modern artist now, too. RIP big brother Jojo (yes my brother was honestly named Joseph John, and his life was a Bizarre Adventure)
