- In this video I discuss my opinion on the most recent bear alpha update. This update brought changes to some maps that are highly controversial and I wanted to share my take on it.

Tbh i have to agree with cheddar balls with his opinion on the final hour. The maps that were changed DID NOT need such big changed, especialy final hour. The summer 2023 final hour was an amazing remake that made the map way better. the expanded map size made it way better and ALL the issues you mentioned could have been easly fixed. Just because its diffrent completaly dosnt mean its bad, but they just returned to the 2020 layout which is really... bad. I think they should have improved the summer final hour and not return to the old layout. Alot of the maps were made smaller or made some parts of maps completaly useless. Like in lone house the maze is useless. Worst part is that alot of the maps feel rushed. The sea in the final hour randomly cuts off, there is a random furniture in the fog part of the map and hospital nightmare has a gap. I do not think adding the annonymus person as a person to make the maps was not a good idea. Concluding this comment: as cheddar balls said, the good parts of the remakes need to be added back to the old versions of some maps and most importantly: return and improve final hour. Some people here might be mad cause of me saying this, but lets be honest here. The only reason people like the old final hour is cause of nostalgia and thats obviously not the direction of alpha right now. People need to stop looking at nostalgia and instead realise that the new layouts, as much as they were sometimes flawed, need to be brought back.
Tl:dr: i want more objects to be added to empty spaces in the old versions of the maps and remove revert the final hour back as the only reason people like it is nostalgia
They also need to rocus on changing actually bad and outdated maps like:
System crypt
Underwater woods
And crazy port

I can't believe I have to comment this but making sure everybody knows that all love to Cheddar. I simply think that the changes they made to the Bear (Alpha) Revised update was needed. Not saying it is perfect, but it is a step into the right direction. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion on the update. Be mature and do not exaggerate me just giving my opinion on an update that a lot of people dislike. If somebody can be a voice of those who disliked an update, then it is only right somebody can be a voice for those who liked the update.
The lone house remake was far too unneeded and ruined the map, it cluttered the map by adding and moving structures that were already fine where they were, I really don't get for example, why there's so much behind the house and why the maze leads nowhere.

The alien from neptune had unnecessary changes such as moving the tree for some reason and shrinking the maps in lone house along with other bad changes to the maps but i dont see why everyone is essentially crying over it.
Meanwhile Cheddar Balls says that the Bear Alpha update is bad.

I’m glad they added a tutorial to bear alpha because back in 2019,2020,2021,2022 and 2023 didn’t had tutorial and if a new player joins bear alpha,they would not know of how to play it but in 2024,cheedaman finally did something actually good cuz he added a tutorial in the game which is helpful for new players. Plus they added mobile lock which is useful I guess
Well actually, There was tutorial Tv screens explaining game mechanics, Outdated as year 2023. But still it was.

I personally didn’t like this update at all. The only good big addition was that The Alien From Neptune had the other house get an interior. I feel like the proportions and hills should be an intermediate between the old and revisited as the alien gets stuck with the new proportions of the map. Other than that the rest of The Alien From Neptune should be reverted to its former self. The rest of the map changes were mediocre at the very best and absolute garbage at worst. I can kinda see why some people like them but personally they’re not for me.
This is a perfect response to all of this drama I’ve been playing bear forever pretty much and imo Gruss really fell off with map makin no offense but her newer maps before this update were so open and flat it just didn’t make sense at all like nobody asked for final hour to be changed completely last year but ya I fully agree with ur opinions I thought it was impossible to get people to listen to our side like cheddar balls and a handful of others have been very childish over this tbh

I wasn't planning on saying this but dude,the current Final Hour itself Is boring,unoriginal and doesn't make sense the people who like it are simply more nostalgia (on the other hand the upcoming remake looks original and much better) and the rest of the maps are not a big deal and some deserve to be reversed , the only good and necessary thing part was the tutorial for new players ( its a meh update)
