Hey Rob I wanted to ask you whatever happened with the messi guy I know this was almost 2 years ago. I’m not gonna lie when I get bored I come over here and watch the old episodes. But given all this, and given the fact that this guy is an actual competitor and has been banned from multiple places, I was wondering, have you checked up on this or heard anymore?

It's such a shame, because if he was good enough to make it to the finals of ADCC trials he obviously has the potential to go even further, unfortunately it won't happen

This crazy azz dude is his own worst enemy, and by that I mean, he is a boy trying to compete in a man's sport and he is emotionally crippled, so he rages when he feels wronged. If I had to fight him I'd immediately piss him off and watch him self destruct...karma is a real slap in the face!
With a background primarily in taekwondo, I saw someone get into a fist fight with someone else in the parking lot after they lost to them at a tournament. It was ridiculous.
True! Pretty telling if you get into a fight and don't even use the combat sport you are trained in :') if I got in a fight I would mostly use judo because I have hours of training in it whereas I haven't thrown a punch in 10 years
The dude is gonna end up killing someone. Being good at jiu-jitsu and cant control his anger that bad? Plus only really doing this to smaller people being a piece of shit bully. Guy has to be stopped
What I have to be thankful 🙏 for this Thanksgiving is Rob providing the 🔝 shelf entertainment that we come to expect from McDojoLife. Mr Messi stands NO CHANCE against Rob as he will butcher his name into unrecognizable mush! Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Rob!
The most crazy thing I have seen (on tv) was in a soccer match. A german goal keeper noticed something landing besides him. Turns out rival fans threw knives at him. I believe the victim was goalkeeper Oliver Kahn.
I asked Messi what his deal was with signs and he said, "Signs, signs, everywhere it's signs. Blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind." I asked, aren't those song lyrics and then he told me to come to Norway?
1994 Inner City Games, Los Angeles. This tourney was sponsored by Arnold Schwarzenegger when he headed up the President's Physical fitness council. It was held at the Shrine Auditorium, had City Council members present, corporate sponsors like Coke and Pizza Hut. All in all a big shebang. It was supposed to be point sparring with traditional rules, minimal protective gear. Basically back in the day with the old cloth hand protectors and maybe a mouth piece. Well the 15-17 girls BB division was going at it hard, It was tit for tat on the bloody noses and black eyes. then the instructors got into it and the next thing you know the whole place is rocking and rolling, competitors fighting spectators, instructors blasting other schools students. Total brawl. The Sheriffs had to bring in deputies to get the organizing dojo out as a crowd was still waiting outside to keep it going . Good times.
I went to a WWF event and saw a guy get hit with a chair then thrown through a table While the ref wasn't looking Cause someone was on the ring distracting him
The one that comes to mind though is a combat jiujitsu tournament where we competed in national teams (not THE national teams mind you). My team did fairly well and was in the quarterfinals going for the deciding match to make it a 3-2 win. My teammate had a great match when the ref stopped the clock for an injury check on the other guy. My teammate was in seiza, facing away from his opponent. When the ref called for him to get ready, the other guy pushed the ref out of the way and launched a hard kick straight to the spine of my teammate, him with his back still turned. Of course instant DQ (my friend was luckily fine) and the other team was literally kicked out of the venue. They thought it would be a good idea to end the weekend by trashing one of the city buses outside. Needless to say, we haven't seen them since.
@7:50 so essentially what Messi is saying here is “stop being better than me and I’ll stop eye-gouging you”?!that’s some World class narcissistic thinking right there, that’s like a cornerback getting dusted by a wideout and saying “well stop making all those receptions and I’ll stop horse collar tackling you”
"Come to Europe. You are going to be my son. I take you Norway. I have a lot of horses. You are going to take care of my horses." Wtf...someone check on his children.
@@mikeohara1055 Alot of people would love to make it that far. They make mistakes and lose as a fighter but they take on board what they learn from losing and use it to help themselves improve. The investigatory comments that you posted to get the whole story out is awesome. I like how you were able to expose the underlying story. This is a plain and simple expose of how ego inflation can get the best of a person in a situation. It's repetitive to see how Muslim almost makes it to the top, and then it's "as if" Dr. Jekyll turns into Mr. Hyde (that as if statement makes me wonder what his performance enhancing substance history may be as well, because we all know about roid rage) . There is truly a complex underlying this whole situation. I'm not a psychologist, but this is a good video for someone such as myself, who has been studying alot of that type of material to see perfectly clearly how projection, transference and countertransference works. This guy has an underlying complex, and it leads to an ego inflation that causes him to blow up on people and yes signs. The sign attacking is a large part of it. It would be equally amazing to learn about what his upbringing was like. Many of us that compete in combat sports, such as myself, do so and have done so, as a way to cope with past abuse and past feeling of powerlessness, and other self defeating complexes, and many of us have alot to learn still, but one thing I love about combat sports is that it's a way to work on those issues inadvertently, and that with great success. I think with some therapy Muslim could turn it around and do some great things, but he definitely has some repressed issues that are doing him more harm than help - in a sport, at that, that helps many people such as myself exorcise personal demons (so to speak). Awesome work and video btw.
Some of the best work you've done. Jackassery is not limited only to the incompetents and delusional. The sad thing is that legitimate instructors continue to train such people even after their narcissistic/borderline traits are grossly evident. Good call out.
Unfortunately I have to say this as a wrestler and BJJ competitor I use my head as a pressure thing it’s well known competition is fair game and there’s no rules to say you can’t use head pressure and it’s very effective
It’s reasons like this that bullies are not allowed in most gyms. Who ever trained this guy should be ashamed. I also wonder how long until you get death threat dms about how he’s going to make you brush his horse or something.
I feel like big Dan would’ve caved Messi’s head in in a real fight. Would’ve been cool to see that. Of course Messi knows this which is why he didn’t entice him after their match. He only had big balls against guys he outweighed by 50-70 lbs.
I saw a guy get choked out with a triangle and he thought he won! LOL! He gets up and tries to punch the ref, who was 6'8", and he couldn't reach him because he was like 1.2 Rogan's tall. His teammates clear the stands and so does the other guys and the event organizers threatened to call the cops. Cooler heads prevailed but the guy who lost was leaving the building and this guy next to me goes "how'd that triangle taste bro?" Triangle guy lost it and it took like 4 people to hold him back. Redondo Beach California 2006. My first tournament...
In competitive gaming, in sports, in martial arts, if you can't be decent, don't show up. If someone's that much of an asshat, they don't make it to the top almost ever, and when they do, they end up a miserable has-been. A sore loser will never be happy, because that is someone for whom a 99% win rate is not enough.
I wonder if he knows that here in Norway, sending messages, with threats of physical violence to a person, is an arrestable offense, and the moron attached his voice to it... Just saying
He's most likely from Chechnya or Dagestan, those people are used to being above the law. When they come to civilized countries - they must be held accountable for all their doings or they are gonna fuck up everything around them.
Why does son many people goes death threats mode ? There's tribunals for injustice, just use them. If you're wrong, you will pay, if you're not you're gonna get compensate.
kinda crazy, I've seen a ITF TKD coach step into the ring and drag his fighter off, effectively "throwing the towel" midfight because he realised that if the fighter won that match would advance to meet his brother in the final.
thats like....the best possible outcome. That sounds like a foolish decision by the coach. The brothers are likely going to fight each other with respect, why wouldn't you want that? They can stand next to each other on the podium.
I’ve had this in all sports. I could win a game of badminton (no competition or anything just casual) and some people just want to prove they didn’t lose because they are “weak” so they punch you in the chest and blame something else. It’s obviously very rare in a game like badminton, I’ve only played against 2 people who have ever got physically aggressive. But in sparring you get quite a few of these.
about your question, I have seen mostly coaches and parents behave badly at BJJ tournaments if I am honest, abuse of referees and trying to pick fights etc. I saw a guy do sexual pumping movements to his opponents head while in north south during a no gi sub only match in a cage, but that is pretty typical of the club he was a part of
QOTD: a guy I'll call DC. I have a history with this guy where I fought him once in a tournament. He hit me with a side kick to the solar plexus, knocked the wind out of me, and knocked me back out of the ring. The ref asked me if I wanted to continue and I did. He went on to win the match fair and square after that. I was simply outclassed. No shade. But I was pissed because it was a point tournament and they had rules against excessive contact which this very clearly could have been deemed. He got no warning and all judges decided in favor of a point. So that pissed me off. Years go by and I'm at another tournament and I see DC is fighting again. I'm not competing so I watch. It's the last fight for first and second. DC loses the fight and throws a hissy fit. Rips off his gi jacket slams it down and storms out of the gymnasium. Very poor show of sportsmanship. The head judge says if he doesn't come back in x minutes I'm DQing him. DC did eventually come back in and take his second place trophy, but in my mind I'm thinking it's poetic justice for me by him showing his true colors.
The one aspect in this that clearly shines through but wasn't addressed by Rob explicitly is that guy's obviously exceedingly fragile masculinity. It's a sad truth that this is common in our world and perhaps even more prevalent in the martial arts, but that guy is beyond belief in how ridiculously fragile he is!
What kind of ridiculous feminazi talking point is that? You think the problem is fragile masculinity? Toxic femininity is way more prevalent in today society. At these bjj competitions you have a building full of hundreds of men and 99% of them are cordial respectful people with good sportsmanship but this one guy Messi is an example of fragile masculinity. Get over yourself.
Knowing his temper tantrums and propensity for assaulting people in past competitions, then why do leagues keep allowing him to compete? So I place the blame on them for his continuous #$%& behavior. They're the ones allowing him to keep entering their competitions. Worst thing I saw in a tournament ... when back in the locker room after the competition was over .... saw a three stripe white belt take his belt off, open his bag where he had a two stripe purple belt stuff down in it. He saw that I saw it, he quickly covered it up and walked over to the other side of the room. Horribly, I've heard such things happen a lot.
Wrestling teammate lost to a guy that was talking shit to him for weeks, goes into OUR OWN weight room and trashes the entire place, broken mirrors etc.
People like this should not be allowed to compete in sports. I have had to deal with a few guys like this during my fight career. I fought a guy once who got so crazed, he started punching the ref. the same guy once pushed a guy through the ropes, they were fighting in a boxing ring, and he jumped out and started fighting him and the guys trying to break it up. People who do not have the spirit of competition should not be allowed to compete. A sporting event is not a street fight.
I didn't see it but I heard it and saw the aftermath. One of my friend's training partners competed at a newbreed tournament I was at. Dude was a brown belt and competed in adv No Gi. His opponent got him in a heel hook he tapped and the referee said stop. But his opponent didn't and destroyed his knee. Got wheeled out of the competition and gave everyone a peace sign and everyone in that building clapped and cheered for him. Thankfully after 6+ months of healing and recovery he is back training again.
One of the craziest things I've experienced in a tournament was when I was maybe 15 or 16 and only about a red belt in Taekwondo (this is over 20 years ago, so I can't quite remember the exact rank, but I was a color belt [I received my black belt after turning 18]). It was my first time judging (just a corner judge) and it was simply a local, "friendly", inter-school competition. One of the coaches (in her 30s at the time) from the other school (not even the coach who was actively coaching the match) threatened to kill me (a child at the time) if I "score another blocked kick." I ignored her and went to the event coordinator to file a complaint, and then that coach and her mother (who jumped in on this for some reason) threatened the coordinator to have me banned from the event. Thinking back, it's honestly hilarious to remember two grown-ass adults causing a debacle over a kid who got a call wrong in an inconsequential match. Nut-jobs, the both of them.
They should charge him and try to get him in prison. This is the type of guy that everyone thinks is just crazy but then years later they find out that he killed his wife.
Crazy amount of leg-kicks in a match (which were not allowed, wt tkd) which made the other kid (they were somewhat 11-13 y.) forfeit. It wasn't that ugly until we realised that the winning kids father told the kid to go for the legs, again and again. The leg-kicker ended up losing the next match, when the ref was on to him. I got 3 headkicks in a single round when they were not allowed (amateur tournament, you could choose the headkicks or not). Felt pretty suspicious for the next round and ended up losing. Told the guy that those were illegal, and you got a point deduction from them. He leaned over and said quietly that it's all for the W.
@@TBButtSmoothy yup...but they are kinda illegal in wt tkd. And given the fact that they were kids in a low-bar competition, doing leg-kicks just to get the other kid forfeit (aaaand the fact that the other parent told his kid to do that) got me...ugh 🤢
That Messi nut reminds me of some MMA redhead nut who got sealed away from society (can't remember his name atm, i'll try to find out his name later). Edit: Viatcheslav Datsik, that's kinda his name. The crazyest thing i can remember about is some video here on youtube called Jesus Taught Me.
If I was at that level within BJJ where I'm on track for ADCC coming in second at trials etc, and was offered 70k for a match, free flight and hotel to beat someone's ass, I'm training and getting better at my game and trying my hardest to win that 70k. Dudes a fucking loon and he clearly isn't skilled enough to get further than he has, so his story ends now and it's for the best.
I love Jim jitsu, I’m an old man white belt. Though I think this points out a lie people say within the jiu jitsu world. It’s humbling and you have to check your ego at the door. Clearly with some people that simply isn’t true. I’m sure we all know at least one guy where we train that goes super hard in a fundamental class and just abuses lower belts because they can.
Fellow old guy white belt checking in. A month after I started training someone speared me into the mat hard enough to break my ribs and tear some cartilage. Dude was mortified afterwards, but yeah, calm down a bit my guy, I just got here and it's pretty hard to progress when you cant train for six weeks.
I watched an initially excluded competitor at a regional match make a case against his exclusion. Only to then stiff shouldered the Ref in their first match, following that coming off starting stance three times. First time was him being obviously huffy, which got him a modest "Sportsmen conduct check". Back to starting stance, came off, this time claiming that his Compression Wrap required adjustment. Came off the final time. You won't believe it. He went with telling the Ref, and officials that the mats didn't feel set right, got down side-faced on the mat, performed a Goofy mime of "The Mat Is Warped, Look, look!".
My teammate lost a bag of our equipment containing my cup. One of my competitors realized my situation and kneed me in the balls a few times in halfguard.
If you can't control your ego or your anger, then you shouldn't be competing in combat sports. Honor and respect mean alot in these sports, and if you can't be in control of your emotions you deserve neither.
Craziest thing I saw was when this guy wasn’t good enough to win his matches and he threw a fit, gave the New York salute, and slapped a dude in the face because it was the only way he could get a shot in! Then he kicked a sign and stormed off like a 13 year old! 🤣
The worst thing I have seen so far in a tournament, was the silver medalist hitting the gold medalist with his medal right in the head with a massive swing. That year the medals were squares. It left a huge dent in the poor guy's head. Then a brawl between the 2 camps, then police arrived. I also won gold, but more civilized opponents.
Unfortunately I don't think this is just a Etiquette , morality, Attitude adjustment Kind of problem. This guy has some serious trauma he hasn't dealt with and hes Now working with the maturity of a 11 year old, So I wouldn't expect him to realizeWhat are you doing wrong and make any meaningful changes about it. I feel for him. Must be tough. I wonder if he lost a parent at a young age or something like that. For Palmares it was abuse. For some it may be loss or neglect.
Messi definitely deserves a ban. Craziest thing I've seen from a tournament was in a fencing match, Australia (where I'm from) vs Germany. One of our fencers was losing their match and just after a point where he was coming up from a lunge he deliberately punched (maybe elbowed, was a time ago) the German fencer in the Ba**s. We knew it was deliberate (the Aus fencer had recorded so many penalties and warnings over the years for throwing masks/swearing etc. but the referee at the time thought it was an accident and the German fencer was so polite and actually apologised! Not sure what he was sorry for, being in the way of our fencer getting up I guess. For context as well, for some insane reason groin guards were not required gear. I got hit once in that area during a bout and wore one forever more.

I am embarrassed for my norwegian neighbours. (I am a swede) This guy shouldn’t be allowed near competitions.
Norge behöver att skicka tillbaka han varifrån han kommer från.
ngl thats a pretty badass response "don't half-ass your threat to me"
With a background primarily in taekwondo, I saw someone get into a fist fight with someone else in the parking lot after they lost to them at a tournament. It was ridiculous.
Yeah. Also? Extra lame that it was a fistfight. Atleast have a cool kick-fight.
@@Ultr4l0f hahaha too true!
True! Pretty telling if you get into a fight and don't even use the combat sport you are trained in :') if I got in a fight I would mostly use judo because I have hours of training in it whereas I haven't thrown a punch in 10 years
@@TheCrusher72 lolol so true taekwon do is so stupid
@@Ultr4l0fIt's because the 'combat' sport's combat is trash for actual fighting
As a Norwegian subscriber this is awesome and very funny....
You just come to Norway and say that to his face … oh, wait! ;-)
Your country is a fkn nightmare.
You must be in Norway to be his son
AJ Agazarm really milking that slap like a soccer player; he's fought MMA on Bellator and can take way more than a slap.
The dude is gonna end up killing someone. Being good at jiu-jitsu and cant control his anger that bad? Plus only really doing this to smaller people being a piece of shit bully. Guy has to be stopped
Except he isn't actually good at jiu jitsu. He's just big.
You should go, it's a lovely country! ;-)
@jamielondon6436 I heard, as opposed to other Scandanavian countries, Norway is probably the most Xenophobic nation of them all.

Lovely coastlines. All those crinkly edges
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?
Good times.
I remember that. Urban savages.
Check out some of the old Wattsfest battles at the LA Colisem. A music festival degenerating into looting mob.
I went to a WWF event and saw a guy get hit with a chair then thrown through a table While the ref wasn't looking Cause someone was on the ring distracting him
That happens a lot. Pro-wrestling reffing is in need of some changes.

And I thought Messi offering Dan a trip to Norway was like Messi asking him on a date 😂
Yeah it's almost like he works for the Norway tourism board: “come to Norway”
11:30 Holy shit. Thats some next level shit talk.
Take someone to Norway and make them care for horses?
And also apparently adopt someone as your son? Next level.
Such a nice, mentally stable guy.
@7:50 so essentially what Messi is saying here is “stop being better than me and I’ll stop eye-gouging you”?!that’s some World class narcissistic thinking right there, that’s like a cornerback getting dusted by a wideout and saying “well stop making all those receptions and I’ll stop horse collar tackling you”
1st video I’ve ever seen of yours but that final message towards Messi was hilarious, definitely subscribed after that😂
"Come to Europe. You are going to be my son. I take you Norway. I have a lot of horses. You are going to take care of my horses." Wtf...someone check on his children.
Unprofessional man baby throws a tantrum because his ego was hurt since someone else is better skilled.
You'd think that he'd be proud that he made it to the finals of the ADCC trials. That is a huge accomplishment, but no, he'd rather be a bad sport.
@@mikeohara1055 Alot of people would love to make it that far. They make mistakes and lose as a fighter but they take on board what they learn from losing and use it to help themselves improve. But sore losers blame others or make excuses. We would have alot of respect for the guy if he acted his age and took the L like a champ and came back better NOT bitter.
Thank you for that. Truly appreciated
Very well put I couldn't agree more
This is that type of guy who ends up arrested for murdering some random defenseless guy at a bar or ends up stabbed in an alley.
Hell yeah. I grind my forehead into people
I’m a judoka and bjj guy and I do the exact same thing lol
I never head butt anyone nor have I been accused of it either.
Truth.
Imagine getting beat up then being like "im gonna fight you"
It’s reasons like this that bullies are not allowed in most gyms. Who ever trained this guy should be ashamed. I also wonder how long until you get death threat dms about how he’s going to make you brush his horse or something.
Sounds like someone is looking deep down for a equestrian manager on a romantic and remote property
I feel like big Dan would’ve caved Messi’s head in in a real fight. Would’ve been cool to see that. Of course Messi knows this which is why he didn’t entice him after their match. He only had big balls against guys he outweighed by 50-70 lbs.
I feel like a new "6 Dillmans" ranking is warranted ...
"This person just beat me in a martial arts tournament. I should assault him."
:/
Mo saying "I didn't know who he was" is a fucking punch line!!!
Been watching your stuff on insta for like ever - this was the first yt vid I’ve watched. Love it, subbed
Lmao love how Mo Jackson makes taking second at ADCC trials like you’re the worst grappler on earth. That was great

Craziest thing I seen is a certain school asking to check phones to see if they were behind a certain meme account on Instagram.
So much for martial artists being disciplined.
I mean he is constantly losing
Dude gets his ass kicked by people his own size. He's the exception
It's a sport though, not a martial art.
@@callumgrassby7817 it's definitely a martial art.
They mean discipline in terms of training and diet. Not in terms of submissive behavior or taking orders.
"Come to Norway" will get a nice and cozy place within my vocabulary. Thanks, Messi.
The frank dux at the end was the best ever my friend!!!! Keep up the great work!!!
I bet this guy is fun at parties!
The worst thing was someone who hurt another bjj competitor in Spain and he started dancing.
The way he went off on Big Dan verifies that the things he said to the adcc dude was true as well. Not like we didn't know it anyway.
Would love to announce the Dan v Messi match at Grapplefest :D
Muslim would smoke him.. the guy´s a tank!
Going to Europe to get adopted and take care of horses doesn’t sound like such bad time.
The lesson I learnt from Messi is that I can threaten people in English by saying "Come to Norway". This bloke is better than Duolingo.
Why fragil masculinity? He is just a grade a narcissist
@@strider5474 For sure. But the way he immediately feels threatened in his masculinity, keeps referring to that again and again, is very telling.
This has more to do with ego than masculinity.

Horribly, I've heard such things happen a lot.
yikes. there's sandbagging, and there's /that/. damn.
Depending on where this happened, the guy that got slapped could technically charge him with Assault. It's a limited ruleset for a reason
BJJ seems like it has so much drama.
It's asshole magnet
He leaned over and said quietly that it's all for the W.
and this is when leg catching and kick checking was born
He’s just acting in the best Gracie tradition. If someone threatens your sense of superiority just gang up and jump them unawares.
10.27 Hillarious choice of pics and editing work:D
How did this guy make it as far as he did in BJJ?
If I was at that level within BJJ where I'm on track for ADCC coming in second at trials etc, and was offered 70k for a match, free flight and hotel to beat someone's ass, I'm training and getting better at my game and trying my hardest to win that 70k. Dudes a fucking loon and he clearly isn't skilled enough to get further than he has, so his story ends now and it's for the best.
He seems like such a caring, compassionate and humble guy :))
Reminds me of the kid that cries after losing the tee ball game and refuses to shake hands and say good game
Tim jitsu is much better imo
I watched an initially excluded competitor at a regional match make a case against his exclusion. Only to then stiff shouldered the Ref in their first match, following that coming off starting stance three times. First time was him being obviously huffy, which got him a modest "Sportsmen conduct check". Back to starting stance, came off, this time claiming that his Compression Wrap required adjustment. Came off the final time. You won't believe it. He went with telling the Ref, and officials that the mats didn't feel set right, got down side-faced on the mat, performed a Goofy mime of "The Mat Is Warped, Look, look!".
So that's what has been going on with the guy that slapped AJ. Didn't realize so much lore existed.
When you're such a loser that you cheat and then throw a fit
My teammate lost a bag of our equipment containing my cup. One of my competitors realized my situation and kneed me in the balls a few times in halfguard.
Great vid, song at the end is amazing
If you can't control your ego or your anger, then you shouldn't be competing in combat sports. Honor and respect mean alot in these sports, and if you can't be in control of your emotions you deserve neither.
Thx for this rob
5 Frank Dux... Thats fucked up, almost crossed into getting a Steven Seagal.. no coming back from that though.
The memes were fucking jokes. What on earth goes in in this guys head. He gets absolutely rag dolled by Dan and he's still talking shit!!
