The same issue that took Cooler down from the meta is coming after this buu, the specific character has to die is just a horrendous mechanic. I put them in front of 5 attacks, he survives and the next character dies
imagine his revive just had a super simple condition like If this character is hit by an enemy 1 time, revives when any ally is KOd that turn. it still fits the whole “buu was hit” but stops the fact that buu really is not BAD defensively so he doesnt die from normals
well its a little different, since buu still gets buffs from a revive, so its more wanting a revive unit like the str gt duo that could let him proc it, or just wait for more power creep lmao
or like i said, instead of relying on another revive character buu shouldve just done it all himself. i feel like the team couldve really used the help. buu himself is really good, but hed age so much better if it was a free revive
This guy plays the game for a living, he’s got EVERY character maxed out, he’s tried and analyzed basically every character, F2P and P2W, and has video proof of doing so. @lloydbonafide3398 I can for sure see your point of view. Truthfully, Truth having 100% rainbow unit can skew perception, but I don't think he's dumb enough not to understand that 55% has flaws that 100% won't. Now, regarding whether truth is the dokkan king, that's up for people's interpretation, and there is not really a definition for "King of Dokkan." As far as I can see, he's a great player who knows what he's talking about. Would people agree with everything? Of course not. Now, in terms of the hot takes, I don't really have an opinion because, at the end of the day, the question is, is he a good dokkan player? I believe everyone would agree. Is he the very best? King of the Kings? That's up to you.
as someone who gets terrible luck with any type of rng in this game, with orbs, dodge, crits, additionals, super attack upgrades, literally anything that isn't guaranteed... i understand that you gotta play this game way differently than if you had normal luck
I know its a "negative" video but idk I love this kinda stuff. You can tell that Truth just has an insane passion for the game, which is why I respect him so much. Like YEAH lets get nerdy and fight over team builds and specific situations!!
Shout out to the Nano reaction face at 36:44. Also i love seeing people get mad when i tell them some units need dodge. They foam at the mouth when they hear it. Also love that people talk about let them build how they want to build...but we need to use them as friends. I get stuck with that shit too...for example...i cant finish the majin power buu redzone or timelimit because i can dodge....the friend cant. Also they need to eza the great ape ssr bardock team units.
Yea I will agree on the revive shit, I’ve noticed that for even my 55% Buu he just takes a shit ton of damage but never gets killed unless I go out of my way to throw everyone to the wolves and hope they just don’t take to much damage that they die instead of Buu.
True, I have buu 55% too and just trying the red zone majin power mission either buu didn't get super and someone else on the team dies or if he actually revives someone else on the team gets killed next turn. I hate the fact he himself has to revive but I think Buu would be way better if he had more good buu units
Teammbuilds are the most integral part of the game, categories ARE LITERALLY ON THE CARD'S INFO, just swipe to the back, there it is, you'll see it. How easy a character is to carry is part of how "good" the character is, for example AGL Paikuhan, while the meta is too long for him now, last meta him and Orange Piccolo dominated the game because as long as Paikuhan's dodge lasted until Piccolo was ready to go giant, you'll get Paikuhan's active skill which will carry you to the friend Orange Piccolo's giant form and by then the event was over. Sure he couldn't do it without Orange Piccolo but how many units with better performance couldn't do it at all?
Honestly, while the Ghost Usher is cool, Buu could've benefitted from the targeting mechanic that Beast has so you could force his revive. Relying on RNG without being able to see the super (in the case of running full majin power or just not using STR Vegito) is so annoying even if you don't have the unit. I don't have Goku or Buu and feel how annoying that shit is when Buu can revive and it's the floater character that gets bodied.
Honestly it’s very admirable that you don’t change your ways just bc of haters in the comments. I know a lot of content creators will form their content around the criticism they receive but you stick to your guns and I love it
I think the problem is truth has a maxed out character while most of the community has either 1 or 2 dupes in or none at all so they experience a way different rng and difficulty within the game and they dont realize that lol
@@grammysworld5449Same argument as not bringing Goku, he is trying to show the experience of using Buu itself. Surely Truth will do a world tour using evil Buu

Man I love truth’s content. I find it hilarious how him and his viewers are often times openly at each others throats lol. Also Buu is turning into the 7th anniversary LRs and LR DBS Broly with how seriously people take slight things like this.
This is a bit off topic, but I just find it funny how the hidden potential build comes up in almost every video, even though this is the most pointless thing to argue about. Like, no amount of crit/dodge/additional is gonna save a unit from being trash. No hate though, it wouldn't be a Truth video without the classic dodge stunlock😂
I love truth bro. He will always be stable in the dokkan community because he has some of the best takes and great at what he does, which is to display characters in their best and worst lights. Great content creator and will never get old.
Ngl. I am takin Truths side on this one. Fat Buu stacks way too good in those long events and even then he guards, heals and gains massiv stats on super afterwards. Him dying is a Turn 1 Super from somethin like maybe Zamas? I never looked at the damage charts too much... But he can easily die against Evil Buu. Some fights are just luck if you get murdered as the Pink Man or not. And even I forget that you can Stun/Seal some bosses. Cause we all have the mindset of everyone is immune to everythin since forever till now. And I have Buu at 55%, if I get too lucky, he won't die either for me. Fat Buu is amazing as a tank but dam his Damage is nowhere to be seen. But hey. We got some Egos to fill. Some got the Dodge Ego. Sorry mate is what it is. Or the Ego of "We know better than you!" Congrats. You won nothin but words. Das my stick on this. Have fun readin, I guess.
I understand that Buu becomes way better affter the revive. But you also don't need to try to force it to happen. You tend to have the same complaint with LR Evo Blue Vegeta. Playing around intentionally trying to revive when it isnt needed gets you killed every time
I swear people in this community act like they got PhDs in dokkan like miss plays half the time don't exist it's more of just shit rng and dokkan has alot of annoying things that u got to remember like lr blue vegito needed a future ally on the team for the intro something I always forget
Ion get why people argue with Truth about how he builds his units.. It's HIS ACCOUNT.... He can do whatever the Fuuuuuuck he wanna doooo (Hodge Twins voice). He's not forcing you to build your shit the same way.
There’s a conversation that needs to be had about people who pay to win and people who are free to play and how drastically different the experience of the game is. There’s a noticeable difference.
So basically what the people who play and talk crap are saying is they never lost a battle in dokkan? I guess right. They rip on Truth cause he made a mistake and lost. Children. Glad my life isn’t that boring and sad that I gotta rip on people for basic human things. Like losing in a mobile game.
Truth going "Full Counter" on people. Loving it. Especially when he's right. Not that he's often wrong. I myself can say some thing aren't right by my book. But there are prefferences so are best solutions for a character to perform best. I rarely go full dodge but mainly of my perspectives of playing the game how I want and not denying dodge as broken mechanic. Either way this was fun.
Hoenstly I think buu and goku swap places for f2p players with like 55% (other than like the cell max fight). Fights take so much longer and buu has way more chances to get clapped, I find going super slow way easier to manage later on which isn't the best for goku but he does help in that you can slap him on the team and not worry about him and set up others for a while. And Ik truth cares about best performance at 100% but maybe the f2p view is why people argue with buu downplay? idk
I think the criticism about getting the revive early is valid, but it isn't for this fight. Fat Buu is going to age beautifully when bosses become even more difficult later on. I just think Fat Buu is ahead of his time a bit simply because of the revive. It wants to be used early on, because Fat Buu's defenses will just become too great to try and get that revive later on in a long fight.
Idk man we could very well see a resurgence of short fights in the future, and raw defence + guard characters dont age as well as others (look WT goku)
I feel like if datruth had used the fat buu ghost usher it wouldn't have mattered anyways for people because It would have created a Schrodinger effect were if he ushered, people wouldn't know that Janemba would have supered slot 3 and since Datruth didn't use it people are criticizing him for not using it when it wouldn't have mattered what he did because he would have been criticized anyways which makes me feel bad for Datruth
I kind of see the flaw of his kit from your perspective since your units are way stronger than half the community. Fat buu revive should be for the entire rotation for both turns since his kit basically wants him to revive to get better. But imo vegeta #1 🙂↔️👌🏾
My thing is, when do you *need* him to revive? I agree that Buu not reviving when an ally dies is bad, especially since he’s the character with the most survivability a lot of the time. But what is that revive going to do, if he’s already impossible kill? Make it impossible-er? He heals, so any health condition the team needs met is already covered. And he’s a defensive juggernaut, so the only time you’d lose is typically someone else’s fault. The only character I know it would help is 23rd world tournament Goku, and you are delusional if running those together sounds optimal to you. If we’re grading these units on consistency and how often they win you fights, let’s keep doing that. Buu didn’t flub here. If it’s just seeing what the character *does* you’re concerned with, wait six months. I’m sure they’ll release something that eclipses 95% of the game for the seventh time. Fly high to Hiru, tho. 🕊️
Honestly truth putting up with the dokkan community (most of which can't read) is inspiring. Does truth make mistakes? Sure he does he's not a God but he is a player with a SHIT ton of game knowledge and has seen pretty much every single scenario in a game. If truth was genuinely trying to win in any of these showcases he would win cause he obviously has the items, units, and teams to do so. He's no itemed every event in the game already with multiple teams and characters.

@@jifpenut4063 lol fr
In the 7 years I've played Dokkan. I'd never heard people just plainly put " have a skill issue" in an RNG game.
Truth your videos are so fire keep it up man
God forbid a brother play the game as intended: building a team you enjoy
Nothing really wrong with that as long as you're smart about it . . .
Right conclusion wrong reasoning. Truths not building a team BC the units he's picking are his fav. He's just picking the best units lmao
@@nstar6412No. He specifically has stated that he LOVES and enjoys running GOOD units. In his case it doesn’t work because his idea of fun and enjoyment is running good teams.
Look at him using Special Pose (Random Units) and him using Super Hero (Hype units). Cackling and laughing
@nstar6412 90% of Truth's teams are showcase teams, built to make the unit he's showing look good.
4:52 has to be my favorite DaTruth Quote of all time and that’s saying something cause he gots a lot of them 💀💀
I'm convinced some of the people watch your videos on mute so they only see what you do but don't hear the explanation behind your actions
People ignoring Truth's reasoning for doing things and complaining has always shocked me. Truth almost always (With a few exceptions) explains every action in game and his thought process behind it. He explains everything so in depth that I'll listen to his videos while I do deliveries (Since I need to see the road.) And I have a great idea of how the character preformed, how effective they're going to be, and how effective the team over all is. I swear some people watch Truth's video's on mute because there are so many unjustifiable comments of confusion in the comment sections of some of his videos.
Some people are just born, built in, with the hater gene 🤷🏼♂️
Im 99% sure that truth acts more as a father figure giving a reality check to those idiotic bums than their actual father who couldn't teach them common sense 😭😭😭
The difference is Metal cooler doesn't really have much else to offer while Buu is a stacking character with guard. Buu is perfectly fine without.
yeah. He should have some mechanic or active skill to lower his defense like lr kid goku and vegeta
or like i said, instead of relying on another revive character buu shouldve just done it all himself. i feel like the team couldve really used the help. buu himself is really good, but hed age so much better if it was a free revive
DaRantDt is way more entertaining than the actual gameplay 😁
This guy plays the game for a living, he’s got EVERY character maxed out, he’s tried and analyzed basically every character, F2P and P2W, and has video proof of doing so. He’s played these events enough times with enough characters to know who is optimal for the event… who in their right mind thinks they can debate DaTruth and win. He IS the DOKKAN KING, no contest
All that and he didn’t know Janemba could be sealed… makes you think, no?
@@Goku17yen Sometimes people forget things. Does not make him a bad player? There are over 5000 characters in this game with in-depth passive skills. In addition to a bunch of bosses(Different characteristic)in the game with more being added every year. Its natural to forget somethings here and there even if he does showcase on them.
He doesnt know the math works in the game tho. He no dokkan king
Imagine thinking there arent many people who have beat every event in the game with worse boxes btw , also private servers exist and most people that play those play the events way more then truth thanks to unlimited tried truth isnt the best when it comes to team building nor is he even remotely close , hell this guy just puts strong characters on a team and calls it a day lmao he horrible when it comes to setting up plays always has been . For a guy whose main job is to play dokkan he sure as hell doesnt know the tech involved for some units Buu duo for example he has not once used the shot tech , teq trunks as well just to name a few , hell he doesnt even know that int 16 doesnt require gohan to tank the big boss super which is something the the dokkan reddit knows , he was also wrong when it came to lr ssj 4 goku calling him a fish without ever trying him lmao stop doing tricks on it datruth is just the biggest spender not the best player or even close to being the best at team building DW has better team building
Bro got hit with the community notes and this is his reaction 💀
I know its a "negative" video but idk I love this kinda stuff. You can tell that Truth just has an insane passion for the game, which is why I respect him so much. Like YEAH lets get nerdy and fight over team builds and specific situations!!
DaRantDR has returned
I don’t think people understand that truth isn’t trying to win in these videos he is trying to SHOWCASE THE UNIT
Damn none of the people that were in the comments of that video are here now!! I want a part two damnit!!!
Lets go, I needed the perfect video to have in the background while I cook lunch.
Love you bro 💙 I’ve been watching you for 5 years since was 13 and all I can say is keep up the great work
Shout out to the Nano reaction face at 36:44.
Anime counsil was tweaking
Wordddd. Brother was lost 😭
24:50 not goku taking 1.4M , but him taking damage from a 1.4M hit
He ain't helping us beat those "dragon ball fans can't read" allegations
Yea I will agree on the revive shit, I’ve noticed that for even my 55% Buu he just takes a shit ton of damage but never gets killed unless I go out of my way to throw everyone to the wolves and hope they just don’t take to much damage that they die instead of Buu.
True, I have buu 55% too and just trying the red zone majin power mission either buu didn't get super and someone else on the team dies
or if he actually revives someone else on the team gets killed next turn.
Some idiots need to realize nobody thought of str kid buu in artificial life form mission prior to truth. Put some respect on his goddamn name
Lmaooo what? Nobody thought about the only somewhat runnable Kid Buu on a limited team? I like truth but stop the glaze bloos
Honestly it’s very admirable that you don’t change your ways just bc of haters in the comments. I know a lot of content creators will form their content around the criticism they receive but you stick to your guns and I love it
Truly a banger thank you for roasting these kids
One thing i love about Truth is he ALWAYS calls his own bullshit out and admits he is wrong WHEN he is wrong
I think the problem is truth has a maxed out character while most of the community has either 1 or 2 dupes in or none at all so they experience a way different rng and difficulty within the game and they dont realize that lol
bro, I have 55% buu and I get the same experience if he doesn't revive in the first 3-4 turns he CANNOT DIE, he stacks so much
@@dragoon0animesame, if I don’t get him straight bodied early on then he just takes so much damage without dying leaving someone else to get bodied.
This can be the case in some situations, but this ain't one of them. Buu is really good at surviving when you don't want to, even at 55%
Yeah they complain about the revive when the banner unit is LITERALLY THERE to help get you in range to revive
@@grammysworld5449Same argument as not bringing Goku, he is trying to show the experience of using Buu itself.
Surely Truth will do a world tour using evil Buu
please do more of these i think this is the most I've enjoyed your content in a long while
Notice how none of those comments (except the Janemba Seal thing) actually give advice; they all just say "you got killed so you suck"
these kind of people lack logical thinking, as truth said they are just here to try and shittalk, they arent even looking to have a reasonable, civil debate
I’ve been waiting for this since reading the comments, I already know this is gonna be gold
I love hearing your voice man
Me too. Something about it. The pitch just tickles my neutrons the right way.
@@brandon_4902 same lmao
I think a video series testing out teams that viewers suggest would be fire🔥🔥🔥 That way we'll know if they truly know better than DaGoatDt
Buu not being able to revive is more of a show of good performance imo
Or the Ego of "We know better than you!"
Congrats. You won nothin but words. Das my stick on this. Have fun readin, I guess.
Dont get consumed by the community truth. Youve gotten this far, kept it together mate. Just do you.
I understand that Buu becomes way better affter the revive. But you also don't need to try to force it to happen. You tend to have the same complaint with LR Evo Blue Vegeta. Playing around intentionally trying to revive when it isnt needed gets you killed every time
The thing is, it still depends on luck lol. He doesn't know where the enemy will super so he assumes the enemy will super Slot 1
I swear people in this community act like they got PhDs in dokkan like miss plays half the time don't exist it's more of just shit rng and dokkan has alot of annoying things that u got to remember like lr blue vegito needed a future ally on the team for the intro something I always forget
Truth really woke up and chose violence today
Live stream and let the chat build the team and vote on the plays that would be dope😂
Ion get why people argue with Truth about how he builds his units.. It's HIS ACCOUNT.... He can do whatever the Fuuuuuuck he wanna doooo (Hodge Twins voice). He's not forcing you to build your shit the same way.
Stupid comments, using fat buu active skill in Janemba is just not it, you have to use it in Brolys 3 million super that a few units can tank 💀💀💀💀💀😂😂😂
There’s a conversation that needs to be had about people who pay to win and people who are free to play and how drastically different the experience of the game is. There’s a noticeable difference.
NOOO I GOTTA SAVE THIS FOR LATER AFTER WORK, THESE VIDS MY FAV😭
I would love to participate in this rant but apparently 2k stones is not enough for 1 copy of any new unit. So I cannot comment... thanks Gacha.
Are you a jp or global player?
I share the same pain, brother.
First off, I love when he does rants.
Second, how does this effect the LR Final Form Cooler revisit 🤔?
It doesn't
Cant affect 0%
That Phy Metal Cooler style revive sucks so bad. It's Buu's only real flaw, but it's a big one.
Damn we really shoulda listened when he said "talk shit all you want but I'm gonna do it right back"
DaThruth be looking like Kiryu under the rain in that shower after Hirudegarn died like that to yet another super
Vegeta in the rain as eminem's Stan plays
I kind of see the flaw of his kit from your perspective since your units are way stronger than half the community. Fat buu revive should be for the entire rotation for both turns since his kit basically wants him to revive to get better. But imo vegeta #1 🙂↔️👌🏾
I dont know why people are saying your team builds are bad.. the build is made to help defeat the fight, and to showcase!
My only “rant” honestly? I wish Super-Saiyan 3 had better units that link together, and for gods sake give the category some support!!
Anime councils first 2 points were just dogshit
So what I’m hearing is buu is too goood to even unlock his actual potential 👌🏾🙂↔️
I mean demons in people. Of course their objective is to make u mad
