I have wavy hair and have been thinking of doing something like this on my hair. I would totally have someone else do it (I am a cosmetologist). My research reminded me of perms that air dry instead of using the neutralizer. So the perm solution breaks the disulfide bonds and then you just rinse thoroughly and blot the curl forms. Leave them in to dry all the way. After they have air dried you can take the forms out. This way the hair gets less damaged and the perm lasts a lot longer.

Nice job! I heard it here first, perms are making a come back! Off subject, but I've been researching Orbiting Halo Infrared Hair Color Processor/Dryer.I've never used them before, but they seem to do a much better job at processing longer hair more evenly and faster. Do you have a recommendation? Thanks Jamie!

It's going to last like a regular perm. It depends for each client how long it will last, so unfortunately, I'm not able to predict how long. But most of my clients come back every 6-8 months to get it done again depending on the integrity of the hair.

I cannot believe I watch the whole video and did not see the end result. Why did you not show us what it turned out like?

This looks great but don't think I'd ever find a hairdresser to give it a go.
I thought most stylists turned there nose up at curl formers, or is that just the UK?

I would recommend trying to find a stylist on Instagram and setting up a consultation to find your perfect stylist and someone who would want to do this. Thanks for watching!

I have way to much hair for this. I’d look like I have an Afro.

I don't think her hair turned out that great. Especially the front sides not very curly.
