My great uncle was killed in a Speedway crash in the 1940's he was only 21 years old. His name was Harry Rogers from West Ham in London. I inherited photographs of him sitting on his bike and riding. R.I.P to all those lost at Speedway.
Paul David Fry (25 October 1964 - 31 March 2010) was a British speedway rider. Fry made his debut with the Cradley Heath Heathens in 1984 and rode for a number of clubs during his career. He won several team trophies including the British League Knockout Cup with Cradley Heath in 1986 and 1987 and the Premier League Knockout Cup with the Swindon Robins in 2000.[2] In 2007 he was awarded a testimonial meeting at Somerset's Oak Tree Arena. . Fry died at his home in March 2010 aged 45.

I was there at white city overseas final 1983 Bruce penhall was the biggest rider in speedway then.
