- We are OPEN! My friends from high school and I run an antique shop, and I've just got the biggest room and we are finally FULLY SET UP FOR FULL-TIME USE! Come on by!!!

There are definitely cameras in the room and throughout the shop. It was like being in a Rockwell video because while I was there "I always feeeel like....somebody's WAAATCHING MEEEEE". LOL. That and you would have to pilfer a book and then walk through the maze of hallways to get to the front door to exit, so you will be walking right past the owners. I am sure there is an emergency exit but if you try that malarkey, I am sure an alarm will start blaring. Still though, I was most nervous just watching him put those books on the wall and then the ones next to it would sway and lean against the string holding them up. :D
Camera's in every corner, more cameras from the owners everywhere as well, sealed windows, additional cameras on every exterior side of the building oh and it's RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE LIBRARY AND RIGHT NEAR THE POLICE STATION - we're good haha

Rick Morgan of Immaculate Comics youtube channel, sells UV protection sheets for slabs on his website. Might be worth looking into for peace of mind for your displayed slabs.

Dead based on what? Comics sell all day every day on all kinds of selling platforms. Comic shows are packed around the country. So your "thinking" is pretty inaccurate.

Great show ! how do you comics? I you buy them and say oh these could be 9, 9.6 etc. what are you looking for ? comparing a 9.6 to 5.0, is there anyone in the NY area that clean and presses comics? keep up the good work!

I hate lighting, nobody told me that when I got into collecting comic books that I would eventually start to see every light source as a potential Nemesis that I will still have to find a way to work with, it's always infuriating.
Oh it's a whole thing! even when you do everything right you STILL have to rotate books on the wall, and not keep things on there for more than half a year!
Kalen's collectibles sells UV protected slabbed comic wall holders through his whatnot store. He maybe able to hook you up with a bulk order. Will be good for your higher value books. Congrats on expanding, you are just a touch far from Brooklyn to be a casual visit, but I will try to make it out over the summer.
What shelving are you using to secure those CGC slabs to the gridwall?

Solid video, but dude, why are you donating your money to CGC? Are you going to reholder in a few years when a new label comes out and continue to do that every 5-10 for each new label? CGC knows that trick is a suckers bet to continue printing money.

Bro, do not re-slab those old cases. The old cases are a massive selling point, esp now in the era of over inflated grades from CGC. Ppl see those grades and they know for a fact that not only is that the real grade but they have a massive chance of a grade hike just by cracking and resending it back in.

BUTTTTT the cert number remains the same when you reholder, there’s just too many qualities in the newer slabs that help it

Re-slabing a 9.8 is NOT a smart move. It can easily come back as a 9.6 and game over.
NOW it is. They used to just reholdering but now they regrade everything after the scandal earlier this year

Just for a mental exercise, I looked up the price of plane tickets to Trenton (the closest airport to Pennington), and shockingly there isn't a single airline that does non-stop flights there. Every one has between a 3 - 5 hour layover in Tampa or Orlando, so I'd be looking at an 11 - 12 hour travel time just to go one way!?! Taking a bus is just as long and twice as expensive as a plane ticket. Almost makes we want to drive the 7 hour trip myself. Almost. ; )

How much bigger is the room compared to your last room? My only issue with the old room was trying to lean over all the slabs to reach the back of the long boxes to see if what I was looking for was there.
Also, are you going to have all your really cheap slabs all stacked to one side, or do you have to dig down to the bottom of a stack to find the cheap treasures? :D
3x the size, everything rebagged and double boarded, everything lowered in price, etc hahaha
