Great build and very helpfull additional commentary! I do miss the mesh plates on the air outlets...

👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽Nice work on that classic kit! Nice attention to detail!
One of the things I've noticed on various Tamiya German ww2 armor is the lack of separate periscope or 'glass' parts. Ive used scrap green clear plastic strapping cut to size where applicable. Great channel you have!
Merry Christmas and Happy Happy New Year!

This is my biggest annoyance with Tamiya, clear lenses would raise their kits appearance so much but then again these 80's and 90's kits are very competitively priced in comparison to new dragon, trumpeter etc .

Tamiya generally is excellent on fit and engineering (which makes for fun builds),but poor on detail

tamiya kits will sacrifice some detail fidelity in exchange for ease of assembly. As I mentioned in the video this is a solid mid tier kit, if you want something more accurate roll with the modern tooling kits from rye field or similar. They are much better detailed but come at the cost of being far more complex of a build, which again for someone who is looking for that build experience they should have the skills lined up to tackle a build of that caliber
