I'm so glad youtube didn't disable the comments for this kid's video like the rest. Reading other people's nostalgia makes me feel so satisfied, like it's a memory we share.
Omg same here 😭
the person who posted it didnt label it as far kids
@traxagenda3445 sometimes youtube itself will label it for kids without the content creator doing it.

Soon to be 21 and l still haven / t for gotten this show . I come back and listen to the intro when l / m in the mood for nostalgia .
Already 21 and still coming back to this unforgotten amazingly nostalgic show, when I'm in the mood of course👉
Becoming 21 in six months by the time I post this comment and I still remember watching this show when I was 4.
@@arturosandovalsaito2704turning 21 in nine months, and I loved this show.
P.S. I have a HUGE crush on the fish!!! Kinda strange, but yes. really.
@@wil8339turning 21 in six months myself, and still love this masterpiece!

I remember watching one episode at my grandma house when I was like 4 and that was the only time I ever saw it
@@toyoman1652 thats was up
For me they usually played it when I used to get home as a kid I really enjoyed it
I miss this show 🥺
I KNOW RIGHT!! I got up at 6 every morning just to watch it! 😂💖 good times! 🥰🥺
That sloth can sing
I wish Snook can sing solo.
Peter Linz rocks!
He sure can sing!
He looks more like a dog to me
That sloth can sing
15 years later and this song still makes me so happy lol
15 years later and this song still makes me so happy lol
Me too lol 🤣🤣🤣
I can’t forget this song because I always sing along this song for many years I remember this show
This is one of those shows that sits in the back of your mind, and then BOOM! 15 years later you're googling "what's that show with the sloth puppet that lives in the big rain forest tree?"
That Happened To Me But With Poppy Cat
That's literally how I found the name to find this only I thought he was a bear
He’s the reason why sloths are one of my favorite animals to this day lol
They last played the show on April 30, 2010 according to Wikipedia.
The fish is sexy. Period.

Same!🥹 I’m 18 now but used to watch it in kindergarten probably
And there’s always Atlanta to remember even more.
The Center of Puppetry Arts has Snook, Riona, and Burdette from the show.
Thank you god for providing meaningful memories like this
i remember when i was a baby when the sloth put his hand to the screen in the outro song i would put my little baby hand onto the screen to touch his hand
same! that cute song about him saying you and I forever will be friends
I use to cry when he came on

This is kind of like bear in the big blue house and there is a character that sounds just like treelo
Oh my God I thought I was the only one who thought that!
@@gojirawilson3611 same honestly I just said when I remembered this one i thought it was a fever dream tbh
@@gojirawilson3611 also one more reply I just looked up and apparently the same person who bear in the big blue house made this show so this means two things one he really likes animal puppets and two he likes using the word Big
Is it weird I was born in 2006 and was obsessed with bear in the big blue house and this show when I was like 4
It’s from the same creator who made bear in the big blue house and the book of Pooh
I’m 23 years old and for some reason just started singing this song then it was in my recommended lol. This was always the best theme song to me as a kid and it still is. Whoever voiced the sloth doesn’t know how much he did for me when I was a kid to know
I was 6 when this show first dropped. Memories are slapping HARD right now.💯
Man, I had turned two a couple of months before it came out! You are older than me!

I used to watch this show so much when I was little. Good ol' days.
Dude. Me and my mom literally just spent an hour trying to remember the name of this damn show. It was one of my favorites when I was like a little baby
For me I tried to remember name of all the characters but nothing. I remember I watched that show and played some games on the computer when I was young it’s been a long time I remember this show
omg samee
This show always gave me Bear In e Big Blue House vibes.
But Snook isn’t bear he’s a sloth 🦥
A lot of the same people were involved! Most notably Peter Linz, Tyler Bunch, and Tim Lagasse! Linz (Snook/Tutter) is now Ernie, along with many other characters.
And its a big big world and bear in the big blue house were made by the same creator
Made by the same people……
I'm turning 15 on 14th June 2021, this is my childhood favorite
I’m turning 20 in July, childhood favorite for me too... crazy

So nostalgic 💕💕💕
that nostalgia with this series that I watched as a child :)
I had lost all sense of it life, love, time memories. I was ina desperate search when I told myself it was helpless and that I was a “big world” and that I’d never find it. I was looking for this very intro to show me what it truly was to be unaware and be so persevered. I was almost there
Only ogs know this show
Yep. Was born in 2003, and enjoyed this.
Aww, the memories. I used to watch this with my brother and Dad sometimes! :)
I have a memory of watching this when I was really young at my dad's old house, it's a strange feeling, I was never entirely comfortable over there I think, but this show came on the TV and I remember just loving it. This theme song is nothing but pure nostalgia. It reminds me of a time when my dad was still living here and wasn't so far away. It was a simpler time and I definitely took it for granted.
There’s a memory in my mind where I was watching this show at 5:30 which was the final time slot for PBS and it was the final time I ever saw this show, I was at my old house and it was already dark outside.
I had completely forgotten about this show as a kid. Such an underrated show and I can't believe people aren't talking about it as much
i completely forgot about this show till i saw this again, i LOVED this show as a child!
Looking back on it this show looks super scary with the visual but I remember it had a lot of educational messages about animals and science
The sloth was definitely a pothead. lol
I forgot this existed for the past 12 years. Popped into my head all the sudden for absolutely no reason.
SAME HAHAHA
Funny enough I was pretty young when I saw this
I’m 22 years old and I still love singing along to this song along with the goodbye song!
Omg another childhood memorie I remember watching this so much
Bro i had this on dvd and use to watch it all the time lol
Gonna blow some of your minds. Snook's puppeteer and voice are the same as the Muppets character Walter.
Was I the only one who put my hand on the screen at the end when he did?
I did the same too
Snook was the homie back in the day, I remember sitting on the floor watching this while my mom was getting ready to take me to school
My niece and I hated this show as kids. (Don't remember why) We both got so angry when the theme song came on, and since this randomly popped in my head I had to listen to it.
Nostalgia is killing me from this

It’s set in Central America dudes!
Thank you Mitchell Kriegman for not only creating and spearheading this show, but also Clarissa Explains It All, Book Of Pooh, and Bear In The Big Blue House
MY CHILDHOOD!
i remember i would constantly get this show and bear in the big blue house mixed up!!!!
That’s very fair!! Snook reminds me a lot of Bear… not to mention that a ton of the same people were involved with both! Peter Linz was Snook and Tutter. He’s Ernie now ☺️
Not me coming back randomly because this theme song lives rent free in my mind.
I'm 23 years old. This still fills me with smiles.
What a good show
This was an awesome show tbh :D
I was so convinced it would take me longer than a simple Google search to find this, I was also pretty confident that he was a bear, but either way this once again proves that I'm not crazy. Another old show that I remember watching was ants in your pants it was similar but had a monkey as the Mc, and every person I asked about it didn't know what it was not even my mom!, I had to search it to make sure I wasn't imagining things, this was another one no one else seems to know exists, but man, nostalgia's hitting me like a truck rn😭
Loved watching this as a kid eating dinner, haha! 😭💖
Fastest sloth ever
I just randomly started singing this I miss this show so much ☺️🥹
I saw this show on a list of nostalgic kids shows and I remembered I liked the intro but couldn't remember how it went. Then I came here and sang every lyric lol I miss being a kid. I wish there were more shows like this for my kids to watch. Everything now is 3d animation and over stimulating.
I like to think that Snook is a ground sloth.

😳
I vaguely remember this...very vaguely.
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey premiered on March 30, 1969.
No idea why this came to my mind, I saw a sloth video and ended up here... My dad hated this whenever I watched it as a child, I don't even think this lasted more than a year on PBS kids they showed it after Arthur I think
🎶 Such A Big Big World 🌎 🌲
Alright hear me out. When I was a little kid, I liked this show a lot. We also live about an hour from Disneyland and used to go a lot when I was little, and every time we went we’d go to Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney (it’s not there anymore but it was the coolest!). Anyway, somehow, in my little kid mind, that place and this show got crossed together, and I thought that this was like the official show OF Rainforest Cafe. Like they made a show based on the restaurant and this was that. Even though I had the little figurines of all the Rainforest Cafe characters and they were obviously all different LOL. I don’t remember when or how I realized I was wrong XD
It's funny how our kid brains can just fuse things together with no relation or like gaslight ourselves into believing something, like i remember when i was young i never got to play those computer games like Wizard 101 or Pirate 101, and i wanted to fit in so i was like "hey did you ever get that tiger with the pirate hat? no? you must not be far enough" now for some reason i always associate Pirate 101 with a Tiger in a Pirate hat even though there's no trace of one in the game. I was just a little liar lol.
@@CjChaosMansion yess this is exactly it LOL! But there’s a surprising number of times where my brain has done the backwards version and gaslit me into thinking a real tv show or place or song was something I made up myself as a little kid. Then I find out it really exists/existed and my brain does a backflip LOL
I’ll never forget my favorite tv show from my childhood
this used to be fucking terrifying
Why are the shows we had has kids are better than the ones Today.
they mostly don't care about kids nowadays
sure there are shows like bluey, and Wild Krats but those are rare
This was one of my favorite shows because I love animals.
They oughta bring back this show!
I use to loved that show expecially the theme song the background vocals were tribal like and universally harmonious it makes me wonder what language was that?
I don't know
Mom told me that me and my brother used to watch this as a kid Although I don't have any memories of it the show does seem interesting 😮
I had very vague memories of this as a kid, though but I mostly remembered the sloth.
The fish is extremely hot though.
I love seeing that when I was little
Since when did Sid's descendants get so creepy looking?
