Im glad you did this video guys, you've saved me a bit of money, too flimsy for where I live, it'll be a kite in no time
This is one of the best videos made on installing instructions
And everyone else are wrong on how they did it
I have been using a large tent like this for 6+ yrs now (Goldwing) - I LOVE MINE ... and I put a TARP over the top - put boards on bottom to keep OFF the ground - - the large tarp protects the whole tent canvas from deteriorating - and it keeps the snow off mine up in the mountain where I live and get a lot of snow-sleet-rain ... rdie safe
1:43 "Armadillo!" Had me in stitches. I use this quote from the Dime bar ad loads.
I bought a 'Bike Barn' in 2016. I read a number of reviews on various Bike covers of this type. I finally settled on the afore mentioned....What a mistake that turned out to be ... because it rotted within two years. I live in Spain, where, to be fair it's a lot sunnier than Canada where the 'Bike Barn' is made. Its info sheet says it is UV protected...that turned out to be absolute bollox. Also their customer service is rubbish. Sending them photographs of the so called UV protected cover was of no use, they never replied .... cannot say I was that surprised really.... they weren't interested... Since then a friend gave me an Armadillo cover.... he sold his motorcycle...this has proved to be far superior in its UV protection. It is now five years old, and although faded shows no sign of rotting. One thing though the Bike Barn did have a superior steel frame .. the Armadillo is quite flimsy in that respect. All in all the Armadillo has proved to be a better unit, and a lot cheaper.. conclusion...if you live in a sunny climate don't buy a 'Bike Barn'
What are u saying at 12:39? I tried to put my bike inside one of these and realized cant cover it because of wind shield and rear-view mirrors. Seems like I have to remove both because height of cover's opening is not enough for Kawasaki versys 300 lol
This would be good but only in the garage to keep dust off. An open floor would just let too much moisture in trapping it.
Thanks Guys. You showed the “security braces”. Can you help me with the exact location and attachment? Thank you in advance.
Nice job lads very helpful.
Can this cover keep snow away from bike, I mean snow like Chicago

Oh, so these types of shelters dont actually fold flat onto the ground. Would be nice if they lay flat on the gorund so that they are kindo invisible when not in use.
Did anyone buy a VEVOR? Are they. good?
hi, will they be able to cover Africa with Twin750? It is 143cm tall
What were the two collars for (~40mm diameter) that slid over the last set of 'tent stakes'?
What smart watch was the dude wearing in the video?
Great guys thanks
Would be much better made with a Belstaff-type waxed cotton cover...or some kind of cotton/canvas/tarpaulin instead of that flimsy vinyl stuff.
Those plates and collers go to bottom to put locks on look at stage 3 just above the arrows j and k you an see regards glynn cope
Attached to the floor or not that would be useless in a storm
Heard a lot of negative stuff about these. Be interested to see what you guys think.
As have we, but not about this brand, so far it's doing a good job!
really helpful i was stuck till i saw your video cheers guys
You're welcome!
A please wouldn’t go a miss at 00:57
so what are those rings for
Would this fit over a Kawasaki Z900 do you know? When it's on the side stand the right hand mirror is 140cm from the ground.
Should do, loads of room under there!
Thanks 👍
I can see something like this on my drive.Great review subject.I'm off to check out similar shelters.
There are some links in the link in the description, thus far ours is doing okay!
As retailers of the Armadillo shelters we might be seen as biased here, but most other shelters out there just aren't built to the same quality as the Armadillo. That's feedback from our customers
Cheers LD!
How do these stand up to wind
They can take a strong battering from the wind as the frames are built well but making sure you've got them on a flat surface helps stop any wind getting under and doing any damage
Never been a fan of regular bike covers, particularly when they start to rub paint off the corners of the bike. No such an issue with this
A fair point, so far it's doing its job well.
What ever exhaust you currently have on the GSXR, BJ, it sounds lovely seeing as I heard your when you were 2 cars back today! Although I reckon elbandito was riding seeing as he overtook me in a 30 whilst i was doing 30!! Soft tops are great for waving at people. hehe.
El bandito says you were doing 20... ;-)
My mistake must of been reading the KPH instead!!
I used this vid as a buying guide and now I don't want one. Looks very flimsy and wouldn't take a scrote more than 1second to gain acsess to your bike with a Stanley knife. I'll keep looking thanks guys
If i saw one of these out and about i'd get some white tape and turn the second 'L' into a 'D'....
Beat us to it!
Martin looks Hot! +1Sub
Putting a 'couple of bricks on it' won't work when you have a high wind. I think the camera operator should have put it up and shut up.
Steady on! Just a bit of fun, Stephen, just a bit of fun...
