Man, had to go back and forth to this video, like three times first time to watch then second to like then third to comment, because I'm sure some work went into this! And I felt like saying that you really did a nice job on it. Good work!
Imagine souls like game where instead of weapons you have numerous martial art combat stances with different movesets, which can be switch at will. To make it balanced- maybe there is a limit on how many stances character can memorise and they require different stats requiements. Mortal Souls or Souls Kombat- postapocaliptic martial art Tournament. You can even add magic like abilities to them (aka hadouken). Some of them may be completly ranged- like focusing your chi to emit devastating energy blasts. Key part of all this- no weapons allowed, only your body and mind.
Except Absolver has weapons and isn't being built with souls design philosophy in mind from what I've seen. (It still looks like a pretty neat game so far though.)
John Dersion nowadays I can win at least half my matches when I'm using random weapons that look cool. Build variety is very good if you understand what you're fighting against
So can I but its not because Im super good its because your average souls player is bottom bines experienced at pvp there's a reason there's about 3 successful builds in tournaments. Put it that way
Forgot to reveal the sacred secret scrolls. The Roaring Demon Hands and the demolishing Dark Iron Fist. But those are only revealed by the reading the secret tablet in the void of Nirvana.
I think your use of hidden weapon to make weapons seem like fist melee styles is interesting. I wish there were more melee weapons, the bone claw were the best in any souls game. The beast claws were ok but the damage is underwhelming
I made some changes with this. I used pestilent mercury, to obscure me. As i do that, i switch my weapon to another and apply the buff. I have been trying a couple of invasions, and they get confused as shit everytime.
this is lovely. I'm not into watching ds3 PvP but this really catches my eye. also, judging from the time all these comments are coming from, it seems the yt algorithm is giving you lots of love
I really haven't played much with claws much. I really should do some more with them, though. I was thinking of trying a "Garrador" build at some point, perhaps using the standard "claws". Heavy tank style melee claws. Could utilise Iron Flesh to get the poise.
Ah crap. Didn't realize someone had already done this...and I thought I was original! xDIn any case, *loved* the video. You got yourself a new sub! ^_^
Woah this could be absolutely viable, because spacing is such an important thing in DS3 PVP. That your opponent can't see your weapon, might be better than any AR a normal weapon buff could give... :D
It'd be cool if it were possible. Sadly, you can't buff Gael's Greatsword and Hidden Weapon counts as a weapon buff. Means no hidden Farron Greatsword either.
Hidden weapon oddly enough counts as a weapon buff(same as resins) so weapons like demon's fist that don't accept buffs can't be affected by HW :( sad i know
Ok this is a sign I've played ds3 to much when I knew all the weapons at the titles display. lol Though have to say this was a really interesting idea.
I display my armour, weapons and stats at the end of most videos. But in case you didn't see it, for this video I'm using the Ragged Mask, Xanthous Overcoat, Slave Knight Gauntlets and Sunset Leggings.
Top 10 strongest ninjustu
Why hello brother
Sunlight Sage Taijustsu
Forgot the Heavy Tornado Fist (Wiged knight twinaxes)
Im not gonna lie I read the title as Way of the raging gael and was so confused when Gaels Greatsword wasn't used lol
Soren 0226 Me too lol.. I was like.. where is anything Gael in this?
Eileen the Crow It's not Gael, it's Gale.
RUclips Agent You don't say?
lol
Soren 0226 same lol
This is one of my favorite dark souls videos right now. Your vids have a great sense of style, keep up the good work
This deserves more views, haven't seen someone use hidden weapon since dark souls 1
Top quality content. Your creativity is exceptional
wow you are really creative
This is the most cinematic shit ever.
everything changed when the airbenders attacked. tl:dr that outfit + hidden weapon actually reminds me of avatar lmfao
Lil Blaez what’s tl:dr?
Man, had to go back and forth to this video, like three times
first time to watch
then second to like
then third to comment, because I'm sure some work went into this! And I felt like saying that you really did a nice job on it. Good work!
Aww no hidden demon arts via a hidden weapon buffed crucifix of the mad king? Guess I'll have to try it out myself!

Esteban Failsmore so basically nioh?
Did not played it, cause im with pc master race. Arent there katanas and shit in nioh?
Esteban Failsmore absolver is almost exactly what you're talking about, look it up
Except Absolver has weapons and isn't being built with souls design philosophy in mind from what I've seen. (It still looks like a pretty neat game so far though.)
Jade Empire needs to be rebooted :)
It's been a while but the gameplay reminded me of DS. Singleplayer, but yeah...
And there are people who complain this game doesn't have build variety.
At high level there are about 3 good weapons, or, there were. I don't know anymore, I moved on.
TheKrensada lol he probably had to play tons of matches to get this many wins for his video
John Dersion nowadays I can win at least half my matches when I'm using random weapons that look cool. Build variety is very good if you understand what you're fighting against

Your videos are actually super well made, I like them a lot.
Most unique build videos I've seen on youtube. You have my sub!
Forgot to reveal the sacred secret scrolls. The Roaring Demon Hands and the demolishing Dark Iron Fist. But those are only revealed by the reading the secret tablet in the void of Nirvana.
This is a cool idea and was pulled off well, but the lack of love for the twindaggers makes me sad.
The split leaf makes you look crazy when invisible lol
I really liked the dual spears. They're usually niche weapons but you made good use of them.
I came in thinking it was gonna be a build about the wind weapons, but suprised when you actually did something really unique.
Subbed. great videos, and amazingly creative. Keep it up!
This was pretty original. As well as some others videos of yours. Good job!
Style/10, excellent work!
i miss the ds2 rings looked fun when you used them with double avelyn basicly using finger pistols
meistersam off hand love tap raiper with ring was op
Holy fuck these are some creative and original builds!
I've never seen someone using hidden weapon in ds3 before so thanks for the experience! :D
I think your use of hidden weapon to make weapons seem like fist melee styles is interesting.

#bringbackthebonefist
I made some changes with this.
I used pestilent mercury, to obscure me. As i do that, i switch my weapon to another and apply the buff. I have been trying a couple of invasions, and they get confused as shit everytime.
Amazing video, people keep saying it but your channel deserves so many mire views
this is lovely. I'm not into watching ds3 PvP but this really catches my eye.
also, judging from the time all these comments are coming from, it seems the yt algorithm is giving you lots of love
This was surprisingly amusing, have a sub
Man your videos are too good also you missed a style:
Unrelenting Smash Sytle (Harald Curved Greatsword)
Just when I thought Hidden Weapon isn't good enough to get a build around.
You make the best builds! any claw builds you recommend? I do so well with the regular claws but want to get more creative.
I really haven't played much with claws much. I really should do some more with them, though. I was thinking of trying a "Garrador" build at some point, perhaps using the standard "claws". Heavy tank style melee claws. Could utilise Iron Flesh to get the poise.

Anyone else read the title wrong and think this was going to be an Uncle Gael build video?
Ooh, Obscuring ring is a nice touch. Wouldn't want to give your weapon away early, right? :D 10/10 would train in the WOTRG.
Woah this could be absolutely viable, because spacing is such an important thing in DS3 PVP. That your opponent can't see your weapon, might be better than any AR a normal weapon buff could give... :D
I wonder how it looks like having Gael's greatsword invisible...
It'd be cool if it were possible. Sadly, you can't buff Gael's Greatsword and Hidden Weapon counts as a weapon buff. Means no hidden Farron Greatsword either.
sheit!
SwitchFeathers
how long does hidden weapon last?
I'm guessing Gale is a translation to air in some language, like latin or so.
my favorite video of all time
Great quality vids to only have 366 subs, let me help you raise that....
Subbed
366 to 1k+ in 6 days

is miracles a good idea to use?
Awesome video! Keep it up!
This looks insane (WoW)
Is the invisible effect still there if we switch the weapon?
Awesome video!
What about the Flaming Oni technique (demon's fist)
Hidden weapon oddly enough counts as a weapon buff(same as resins) so weapons like demon's fist that don't accept buffs can't be affected by HW :( sad i know
awww
This is stylish as fuck.
invisible weapons, but the wind?
pretty clever, I've never seen anyone use hidden weapon in pvp before
Amazing, subbed
op tactics xd. carthus ring+ fist= goodnight. even if you have no skills at all its so effective.
Ok this is a sign I've played ds3 to much when I knew all the weapons at the titles display. lol Though have to say this was a really interesting idea.
Is this a good invasion build tho?
dis some rock lee shit! Awesome vid. subbed
nice idea!
I wish the illusory rings from DS2 were in this game...
U should use tailbone Spear and dagger it look amazing and made the waepon viable
Damn son playing with a keyboard too
I played all three Dark-Souls games with M&Kb layout, it's easy enough once you change some key-bindings and get rid of the annoying Xbox popups.
Do you play with auto lock mode on or off? I've been having trouble figuring out how to aim my ultra gs hits using m+kb
expected storm king curved sword
Damn that's pretty cool
ABSOLVER GAMELPAY LEAKED?!?!?
nice vid m8
Genius!
armor?
I display my armour, weapons and stats at the end of most videos. But in case you didn't see it, for this video I'm using the Ragged Mask, Xanthous Overcoat, Slave Knight Gauntlets and Sunset Leggings.
thanks!
That was really clever :)
Holy shit this is good
