Willow-Harvesting in the Sun! Overgrown Willow Makes the Chopper Struggle!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 22 янв 2023
- This should have been cut last year but the "works" had a problem and it couldn't be processed. Now it's bigger and tougher and the chopper is still struggling . . . . Just after this the team went home for several days, though I don't know why. I haven't seen anything since.
Filmed in 2022 in Cumbria, England.
NB Some people wish to know more details of location. I cannot do this because I always assure farmers of anonymity, and they are happy with this. Without it, some would turn me away, to your loss as well as mine!
Good video have they got much more Willow to harvest 👍👍🦌🐆
Yes they do have quite a bit!

I bet there is a lot of tire damage having to drive over those stumps.
Need steel tracks.
No - they drive carefully between the 18" rows.
What is the common name for that type of willow? I can never get a standard answer, lol.
Salix alba
@@balmesh Salix alba [scientific] has a common name of "Weeping Willow" or "White Willow"... I always thought those trees grew wide thick trunks.
How many acres a day can you get with thus stuff?
Not many. Maybe 10?
Цікаво. Скільки часу пішло на вирощування?
About 3 years. If you search back you can see a video of the Willow being planted.
