Love that you asked for the sponsorship Andrew!
delusion sometimes brings luck Jeff 🙂
Always enjoy your videos. Lots of great shots and information.
That's really good to read. Thanks very much for the comment!
Congrats on your new lens, Andrew 🤩
thank you Edgloris. Hope you are doing well!
Thanks for the video.
You're most welcome!
Hi Andrew, there seems to be a downward trend these days that you have more downloads but less income that used to be. This has been my experience with 'you know who'. I had over 60 downloads last month and earned less than $30. There were some exceptions, otherwise it seems to be 10c RPD. I tend to shoot quite a lot of editorial pics. So, AI shouldn't kill my work, hopefully. I hope you are enjoying using your new lens. I recently got a 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 lens, for my Sony A6700 crop sensor body. This lens is Sony's smallest zoom and hardly weighs anything. I would not have believed it but, considering its small size, the lens seems to be pretty good wide open. This mean I can have my camera with me when I'm out and about. Keep up the good works. Enjoyed your video like always.
yep, those 10 cent sales are demorilizing and the larger sales a becoming fewer. So far I just haven't had the time or energy to devote to creating AI assets, not to say that I won't but I am definently lagging behind. I think the little Sony A6700 is a power house for a stock photographer and with that lens you will create some excellent images.... and video. Thanks for the thoughtful comment and all the best!
Those are some nice shots that you got at the airport.
Thanks very much!
I had a surprising amount of downloads at Shutterstock in October, 45. Unfortunately lots for low amounts. In total 88 sales, 59 usd.
yes those low subscription sales really are horrible to see, and takes away ones motivation for sure.
I seem to have trouble uploading to Istock, do you or anyone else have the same problem perhaps?
I uploaded a batch of editorial and a batch of commercial images and it showed that it's uploaded but there is no thumbnail. Added the usual keywords and descriptions to one of the photos but it not allowing me to submit...
Hey Andrew!
I've tried to comment a couple of times but it keeps disappearing, so I'll comment it in sections to figure out which part is the problem haha
First things first, I love that photo of the falafel, looks delicious! Amazing that Pond5 saved the month-video sales are really where it’s at!
I took some fall photos in my favorite forest (waterloopbos, you should google it!) and I've been slowly uploading them.
My October earnings are quite disappointing unfortunately. SS: $13, 53 downloads. Only a few first-time sellers: a vegetable patch, a close-up of puzzle pieces, new drone photos of my hometown and a 'coming soon' graphic.
AS: $31, 43 downloads, 50% ai imges. Mainly regular sellers. It's honestly so frustrating that I have more downloads on SS, yet I earn significantly more on AS..
@@lauratenveen hi Laura, glad your comments got through and SS has been very dissipointing for me lately too. I do see new files being sold though. Have a great November!
Hope you okay ✅ speak to canon they may be able to lend you some gear 📸
they leant me the RP and 24-240 super zoom some time ago. But apparently that was a one off unfortunately.
