I remember BSE being in sales and traveling all over the country, the dead cattle and the fires everywhere, can only imagine the pain farmers had , your videos are a great watch Crawford 🙏
Coming to the end of the breeding season the cows will be cycling together, the bulls can only do so much work in a day. Check if there is wear between the shutter and the hopper when it is closed,if there is it will be worse when open. The shutter opening will measure the same but the wear will introduce a third dimension to the hole.
Often have stripes around us behind Amazones. Can think of at least two fert testers local to you who usually know the machines better than the dealers
Afternoon, i think you’re problem might be related to the fertiliser product you use .The blended products seem to be very uneven when spread compared to prilled compounds . Blends are made up of different size molecules e.g potash phosphate and nitrogen . The weight of these three for example varies between each other , therefore causes uneven spread pattern . Could also slow down flow in spreader . Just a thought . Hope it helps .
Currently sitting in my driest field down to the axles in my Massey waiting for a tow out, getting the digger, might take up another hobby. Heard the rain even helps with the fishing ?
Hope you don't let Gate Lady see the admission of not needing to dig the garden up Crawford. Parsnip fields around me have plastic on them to try and catch up. Spuds going in too. Messy.
Well I guess now the trough is fixed you must have gained about 2 hours a week from not having to refill it with the IBC so I guess you’ll be surprising gate lady with a garden makeover this summer instead of working on the defenders in your spare time 😂
@@CrawfordsFarm1 the whole lot is just a shit show, what with slurry ban and Urea ban, let the farmers do what they do best. FARM, I think it’s a bit late to start changing stuff that’s been happening for hundreds of years, I’m sure a guy worked out that it takes more fuel for a plane to do one flight to USA that a 500ac farm uses in a year, it’s a total joke.

Hope You have cracked the code of the fertilizer spreader. So nice to see the sunshine.
Where did you learn to snap your fingers to do that quite amazing good trick to have. Update on new shed like/dislike!?
8:10 - Does JCB have a rear light issue.
Was that a new round bailer sitting in the shed?
How did the cow shed go with the inclement weather? The cows looked happy enough.
What fertiliser analysis were you putting onto the grass (P & K).
Check the speed of each disc?
Hope you’ve made a map of all water pipe work for future reference
Good stuff
Keep it up

Fergus the occasional farmer to the rescue with the Decorative Toffee cooows. 😊
How are the Belted Galloways getting on ???😊
Personally hate disc spreaders, if we were 24m I'd have a boom pneumatic spreader for fert

Get rid of the shamazone get a kverneland. Never looked back
I’ve wondered if parents that are farmers can fire there children from there family farm ?. If they can , you would be in trouble
Drive round and round it should not matter so much on grass
Don't tell gate lady you dug her garden up for nothing you will be in trouble 😂
You looked a bit bashed up. Was that you getting beaten up for digging up the daffodils?
and people think farming is easy you ll crack tulips, you seem to sort every thing out
