Got my LE a couple weeks ago from Pinball Heaven. Absolutely loving it.
Has the “1 more game” feeling without a doubt.
I'm sure you're loving it mate. I haven't actually seen it yet.
The premium version was at Swavesey at the weekend and that ball save post is a really satisfying shot when you get it right.

LE is the only choice, learned my lesson with Rush, the expression lights took way over a year to be released and then when they were, they were all gone in 2-sec. Its just not worth it to purchase a Premium anymore. LE or Pro stay away from premiums. Think about it, you know you’re going to purchase a shaker/art blades/invisible glass/ expression lights/powder coating. So just buy an LE, it’s easier and holds a higher value than a Premium.
But the LE is £6000 more expensive. It's a massive assumption that people have that much extra cash.
Of course the LE is better. But it's certainly not the only choice. A Bentley is better than my Honda . . . alas, I can afford the Honda.
If ya can manage to get a bloody LE. They're not called limited for nothin mate. Down-under here in Aus ya gotta be on a waiting list often for 12 months or more just to get any bloody NIB pin. I got kinda lucky and was only a GZ prem wait list for about 3 months before I was told I could get one but then another 3 or 4 months for it to be made and delivered. And yeah, I didn't have an extra 4 or 5K for an LE even if they weren't all sold out long ago. 🤷♂

Depends on the game. Turtles is clearly Pro all day since it change’s literally nothing on the playfield. Black Knight some think pro is better for flow since there’s no upper playfield, but LE is gorgeous and I don’t mind the upper playfield. Maiden can go either way for me since it’s basically just a physical ball lock and under ramp shot added, yet doesn’t change a whole lot on the playfield. JP changes the game slightly since the Raptor lock is easier to hit with the wide wall target, as opposed to the sniper dead shot you need to hit on the pro. Rush is a Premium all day for the physical ball lock and extra wire form instead of the somewhat dangerous dead-end shot. Foo Fighters is also LE all day. It’s one of the most gorgeous LE’s they’ve ever made and the upper playfield adds A TON to the game, in terms of fun accomplishments. I started Area 51, drained out and then put another ball up top and was able to crank the spinner/targets enough to re-light it almost 30 seconds after coming out of Area 51. The best example of Pro vs. LE is Ghostbusters. The Pro is very bland and average, while the LE is an absolute monster with the additional ramp and cool mechanisms. Zeppelin is the only game I can think of that sucks no matter what model it is! 😂 Changing a dead end shot to an even harder side ramp shot changes nothing and even complicates the game even more. Just my two cents.
I definitely preferred the Raptor pen on the JP Premium but didn't like the T-Rex
Being a big Led Zep fan I wanted the pin but didn't even need to play it to see it looked like complete shite haha. It's a real bloody shame Stern didn't do justice to the band on that one. 😕🤦♂

A dealer wants my tricked & mint TSPP (HUO) & I get to pick ANY Stern Premium for it. This has led me to TRY & figure out from an actual PLAYER what’s what bw the Pros & Prem’s on all the newer Sterns. You did a GREAT job givin me the SALIENT deets!! I coulda read your comps of their WHOLE LINE since 2016!!
If YOU were in my shoes, which pin would YOU pick?! 🤔 I’d LOVE to hear your take! I’m vacillating bw FF Premium, Zilla Premium (not big on the theme, love the colors & play … I’m not at all into comics but AIQ Premium? Elwin? 🧐 (Deadpool out because only two bats-no way for that $$).

Obviously, I'm sure the LE is magnificent . . . . but I can only compare the two in front of me.

Mate I’m thinking of getting a Bond premium or a Foo fighters premium. Which would you suggest? The code looks deeper on bond?
I think the code is certainly deeper on Bond but so is the game as a whole.
Bond is probably the better game but Foo has the better shots.
The upper flipper works much better on Foo.

Thanks for the reply mate. It’s a tough decision. Both look fantastic. And foo looks more fun to shoot. Just hoping I don’t get bored of foo if I get it. I like a challenge.
another advantage of the premium over the pro is that the recess for the expression lighting kit is already there

I still need to decide! Haha...love Foo Fighters and love this game, but money is tight. I prefer the Pro art as usual, but wondering if I should hold out for the Premium and the extra features + nice sculpts.
I just have no desire for band themes.
Yeah, I'm with ya on that mate. FF looks like a good playin pin but just not a big fan of FF. Don't hate em but don't love em either. 🤷♂ I did want a Led Zep for the band though. Just a shame Stern did a terrible bloody job on that particular pin. 😕🤦♂
