Tough thing being an old soul is seeing really early since childhood about something not right about the surrounding expectations, acceptance, culture inception by parents and older ones, continuous commercials and only realise later in life for being in trap..and expected to live through it failing which you will be remembered as the worst example of a grown up person. Pain to the utmost for meeting the surrounding expectations.
I’m drawn to your post for some reason. I’ve read that we sign a contract before we come here stating what we are to learn or to teach to specific players in our life. Do you think that you have learned something from this life or maybe those in your life have not learned something from you? You don’t need to answer me; just yourself.

We recently have been gifted a special daughter with trisomy 21! She is 2 now. An angel! She loves to lead us in dance and rhythm, she will look at each of us in her circle and make sure we are following her lead! Emotional genius! That’s right. Emotional genius. Jewel knows immediately who is friend and who is foe. Jewel ignores the foe. As if she can’t see them. Love abounds in these special ones! How blessed am Eye?

I disagree about animal souls only staying in animal kingdom. I had a doberman that was very humanlike. He passed away just before my son was 3mo gestation. My son was born and exhibits and has memory of being my doberman. I was raised very religious background so this rocked my Christian upbringing. I never talked to my son about similarities. He also remembered being a horse and a bird. He had detail memory of being a WWII soldier and then later we found out he had memories of being Audie Murphy just as a fluke. I put a picture of my son next to Audie Murphy and they look alike. So I have to challenge that fact. Only because my son is proof of reincarnation and it follows the Tibetan teachings which he has still no knowledge of. I do and it was uncanny. He even remembered talking to God and picking me as his mother for his last incarnation. There is absolutely no way he could know this unless it was true. University of Virginia has loads of past life recall data and research in young children.

Yup, old Soul I am.. a renegade of sorts, I live my life by my own Code. Love horses and riding up into the mountains. Found marriage difficult. Difficult because I felt it to be too restricted for my soul.. This lifetime I am working through abandonment issues. Comfortable in my own skin. Love my freedom and am fiercely independent.. would live to meet my true mate... I know he is someone very similar to me. Power full and strong man.. Have not met anybody yet with that type of power and strength charisma..but feel he is near...

I'd just like to know a few things about why. Where it comes from and what my intentions were before incarnating this time. I find it hard to purposely connect for my own understanding. Dreams are prolific, and I feel like I work on the astral almost every night. But what am I doing?! Who am I? I know there are many guides.. protecting and giving information in a non tangible way for others..I just can't hear them enough for myself. Or it feels that way. This was a great conversation until politics got injected - implying “progressives” are older souls than “conservatives”, pitting “old souls” vs “new souls”, and saying things like “spiritual immaturity”. This kind of talk only perpetuates a mindset of duality. We are all one. Some are starbeings that are ancient but new to earth. Some are old souls on earth who have deliberately chosen to have a heavier veil in this life for reasons only their soul understands. As we all move toward a higher vibrational state, we must guard against the temptation to speak in dualistic ways, otherwise we turn off the very people who could best hear the message.

This was a great conversation until politics got injected - implying “progressives” are older souls than “conservatives”, pitting “old souls” vs “new souls”, and saying things like “spiritual immaturity”. This kind of talk only perpetuates a mindset of duality. We are all one. Some are starbeings that are ancient but new to earth. Some are old souls on earth who have deliberately chosen to have a heavier veil in this life for reasons only their soul understands. As we all move toward a higher vibrational state, we must guard against the temptation to speak in dualistic ways, otherwise we turn off the very people who could best hear the message.
