    One thing I like about fueling up at truck stops is I know they go through a lot of diesel where as a small station may have fuel sitting in the tank longer. I could be wrong but I figure im more likely to get freseher fuel from a truck stop.

    Nice Job Jared. This is great info. We use many of the resources you talked about. Open Roads, Cat Scales, Gas Buddy. A good resource for RV'rs that travel with dog(s) is Bring Fido and having a good hiking app like GAIA and All Trails are great apps to find some really good hikes. Thanks for putting this together. It helps Newbies like us. Truly appreciate it

    Open Roads, Google Maps, iOverlander, Harvest Hosts/Boondockers Welcome, Good Sam (sometimes), Gas Buddy (sometimes), Windytv, and just found Ryan Hall the other day. Mostly we use the first four listed. As snowbirds, we are usually in the Southwest, maybe Mexico and we have been enough that we have a good idea of where to stay.

    Radar Omega is a pay weather app that Ryan Hall uses for his live weather information. During the spring storm season, this live weather app is cheap insurance on staying away from and knowing what is coming your way. The only downside is learning to navigate the different radar/display settings. Once set, it keeps the storm anxiety to a minimum. Thanks Jared!!

Thought of your video immediately once we had a faulty foot level. Brand new RV. 2022. No over pressure to the unit. Just lame plastic toilet. Thanks again Jared! Beautiful life and family you got!

    Hi - I like Gas Buddy but it is frustrating for me when we are driving down the road and I can't tell if the stations are in front of me or behind me. And then it keeps updating so it's difficult, after the screen keeps refreshing, to tell which one is reasonably close WITHOUT going back in the direction we just came from. Is there any way to just ask it to look ahead and not backward? Or is there some setting I should be using? Thanks for any ideas on this.

    • @AllAboutRVs
      @AllAboutRVs  Год назад +1

      Yes that can be frustrating. It does have the ability to navigate and search along the route. There is an arrow to the right of location searching. I will use that at times to search what’s in front of me.
