My top 10 would have to be: #1 (padawan) Ahsoka Tano #2 Darth Malgus #3 Krrsantan #4 Phase ll Clone Trooper #5 Dok Ondar #6 Wicket #7 Light Cruiser Luke #8 Old Master Maul #9 R2-D2 #10 Endor Rebel Trooper Almost gave #1 to Malgus but Ahsoka is just so perfect to me. The way you feel about the new cal is how I feel about her. The best Ahsoka by far as well imo.

I actually acquired that Padawan Ahsoka figure just yesterday, and she exceeds all expectations! An exceptional figure! A right treat. Thank you my friend. Been smiling at your content for half an hour now. I can't get my head round these lists! Just laughed at your crappy muddy R2 story as that is exactly what I've had R2-wise since 2015. One undersized, muddy, shite version! 😅😂 Never again my friend. Never again. Apart from finally getting the small 40th anniversary carded R2 from 2017, I got 4 of the new R2's and I'll probably get more, because like you said, the little bugger goes with everything! 😅 The new R5 is excellent as well and I finally got the small original one to keep on card too. New clone ph2 is cracking, Sabine and Hera are excellent and I love all the female characters I got this year. Merc Omega, Bastilla, Bix, Vel, Mara are all superb. However, I was truly disappointed by Monny Mothers... 😢 Those sleeves were dreadful and my version had loose ankles, so I have a traffic cone figure which doesn't even bloody stand up!! That's definitely a first T! 😅
Love that you had a 4sse spirit figure in the top 10. I bought the 3-pac effectively for display as part of my 24 Jedi anniversary cards in acrylic boxes. You are tempting me to buy another set to open! 😢
Hey I'm a married man, but if Timothy Olyphant showed up at my door on horseback with the promise of adventure and passionate romance I'd be off like a shot! The man is handsome! I've been utterly fixated on the new Omega, she's fantastic, I know a lot of people did the headswap with the season one Omega, but I just replaced the whole figure. Proportionally and in terms of articulation, she is just miles better! And now with Padme coming down the line again (finally) the future of female figures is looking brighter than ever! Mara Jade was another strong contender, I bluddy loved that figure, the face is incredible. I've seen several Artoos since making this video but there's always been something else there I needed! And what with still being on the wrong side of Christmas and my first payment from college still a ways off, it's been too tight to just grab it all and run! I've had to walk away from all the season 2 Bad Batchers as well, minus Omega of course, because with so much new stuff out, I just can't afford to be spending on updated outfit figures at the mo. But soon! Soon!

I've been messin' with Omega too, down to the point of buying her first incarnation again, (an awesome £5 Game score) then making a 'cuzz-Tom' of Omega as a young adult/woman. Here goes!.... I used a ML groin piece and chest of America Chavez, coupled with Qira (Solo) arms and fur lined vest. I removed Walrus Ponda Baba Man's legs at the thigh swivel, drilled them out to accommodate Chavez's groin pins and attached them. They didn't sit perfectly, so I used a piece of black electrical tape stuck round, to hide the slight gap between, then painted the legs all black, up to the waist. I then used Ponda's leg holster, which utilised the holster's pin into the leg, with a DL-44? Han blaster and found/ fashioned a neck peg to sit the beautiful second headsculpt we got from the Merc version, so her head sat perfectly. 🥰 💞 I then had a line up of original Omega with mask on, original Omega with mask off, little Merc Omega with helmet, then Woman Omega version. After about a day, I found myself wanting something a little different, so I gave my kit bashed body to my second Qira head, which seemed to match the theme of her arms and vest, thus making a custom Qira which is far better than her original guise, which left me with Omega's head again. I ordered Bix from Zavvi months and months ago, when the figure was first available for a discounted £15. They stiffed me on that and never sent her. I bought her normally soon after for retail, then about a month ago, I received Bix from Zavvi!??? Useless cretins!! I was annoyed initially, but I actually adore the Bix figure. So, to cut an extremely long winded story a little shorter, I now have Omega's secondary head on Bix's body, which goes beautifully... I've given her a clone blaster, her electric bow and the clone helmet from Doc Ondor's accessories and she looks like a beautiful grown up version. 😍 As a sidenote, I bought 6 Antoc Merricks as they were 7 quid each, and now have a Bix Caleen blue pilot outfit figure! Love that too! My blue pilot squad now consists of Bix, Mads Mickelson, Carl Weathers, Billy Dee, Peter Cushing, Ponda Baba pilot and ML Nakia? Woman!! I want more as well! I know I shouldn't, but I do!!!
@@grandmofftony Get that college payment!! Tell them there's a new bloody R2 you need to buy six of!! I managed to cobble together S2 BB and I'm really glad I did now T. I absolutely loved finishing the first lot, then when the second lot came out, I wasn't all over them. I grabbed S2 Hunter initially, only because of what happened to the S1 version. I grabbed S2 Omega pretty much immediately, then found "Ikho, Wricker and Tick" for 20 quid each and pulled the trigger on all 3. They are really good figures and become even better when you put Batch One and Batch Two, together and the sum becomes a lot more than it's many parts... I had to get them in-hand to convince me, but they do look fantastic together.
Some really great pics, definitely the line's best year yet. The three updated ghost crew, OM Maul, R2, and Cal are for sure some of my top figs. Really looking forward to whatever they have for us next!
It's been a fantastic year, especially the last couple of months!! So many great new figures all at once! 😅😅 my poor wallet didn't know if it was coming or going 😅😅 2024 should hopefully be a great follow up to a great year :)
Having been collecting the Black Series since the actual first wave, I can safely say the line is better than ever and there's no end in sight (nor should there be). And leave it to you to remember Cal Kestis and just how great that figure really is!
Oh you've been in the line that long? Wow! I remember when it started coming out, even remember seeing that original Boba Fett in Toys R Us and shelves of Slave Leia in my local Entertainer! If only I'd known 😅😅😅 Of course!! He's an exceptional figure, and I feel like he needed to be highlighted since, with this being such a great end to the year, he was being forgotten about :))
Right?? And they made so many different astromech figures, all using that one flawed sculpt. We've gotten an update to R5, maybe we'll see them go back to others and revisiting them, could be a good way to get BT-1 back onto shelves.

Ah he would indeed have been a worthy inclusion, however I was unfortunately never able to track him down 🙁 I only wanted to include figures I actually own on the list, rather than speculating based on the reviews of others. I'm sure Duel's End Vader would have been a strong contender :))

As someone who was there from the first wave, I can't believe it took all this time to fix R2's size issue!
