Interesting choice of titles Kotton. For all your being tired when someone asks you about why you not playing Tarkov for the 20 millionth time you sure do induce it with these baity titles. There isn't anything wrong with clickbait but then you shouldn't get mad/tired when someone asks you about Tarkov on stream. You can't have both.
As a nerd a suppressor on a revolving rifle bothers me so much. It's like trying to stop the water coming out of a faucet by putting a fork under it.

there are other gas seal revolvers besides the nagant but i generally agree
@@gopnik9967 so in the universe the game is based in, it looks like, according to the in-game model, there are sealed chamber revolvers.
It's a video game, learn to have fun and don't take every detail to the extreme or you're going to ruin many great things for yourself.

This game feels like a mix between The Hunter, EFT and Hunt Showdown and i love it. I also like the mechanic of some extracts returning after being used
im not a fan of playing extract shooters myself but i do like the aspect of perpetual raids and constant respawning extracts with conditions
we went from zero competition for tarkov to too many real quick 😂
Tarkov has had a decade to get good, these other games seem to think that they can just pop out a poofer-quality game and capture the audience. They're way wrong about that.
This aint competition. Tarkov competition NEEDS to be in a modern setting. Futuristic space nazis with WW2 guns and old timey cowboy guns aint it. People fail to understand that. What's so attractive about Tarkov is the familiarity in guns and modding. Any true competitor must have a similar level.
@@Billy-bc8pk A decade they could have used more wisely, there were game breaking issues with Tarkov and still are. Tarkov may be good for the genre but there are newer games coming out or have come out that exceed Tarkov by a wide margin
@@collinpowers3475 Only game I know of that has similar mechanics is Arena Breakout, but it lacks the maps and intensity of Tarkov.

its dope seeing you try it out! i like how you are willing to play for more than an hour or two to get a true feel for the game. i have been playing it since last fall on its own launcher and even though it has rough spots, ive seen alot of progress since beta.

I've been following your vids for a while helped me get more out of the game but I fully agree there are so many that are giving up after just 20 - 30 minuites personally I think the negative nellie are to focused on comparing it to tarkov or hunt it's a completly different game with totally unique features and mechanics it's not for everyone and that's fine

Looks like a fun game I wanted to like hunt showdown but the magic and stuff just was meh to me but this looks like it fits the bill, I love the classic guns.

In case you didn't know, you run/sprint faster and use less stamina when sprinting with a holstered weapon. Press 1 to holster/draw your main weapon.
It def needs some updates before its in any state good . Would love if it goes well as i love hunt

I dont game enough to get a gaming pc, but I have a Series X. Hunt Showdown is my favorite game to play on xbox, but this looks fun! Hope I get to play it someday.

Hi Kotton, the ratings in steam are pretty negativ. what are your thoughts about the game? does it have a chance between all the extraction shooters?
I l;ike the look of this actually dispite it's mostly negative reviews. Kind of Tarkov/RDR2 mix.

Not all extracts have requirements, some are timed but this game isn't easy and that's what I love about it.
can you not stack ammo of the same type?
there are a TON of different ammo types in the game , the crafting of ammo is like skyrim level of nutty. You chose over 8 different ingredients to make ammo

Idk how to feel about all these "tarkov killers" someone sees looter shooter they immediately "ou tarkov killer" communities need to take a step back and see these games as their own projects competing with themselves due to them being such different games. This is more in tune to Hunt and even then its not a competitor because Hunt is in its own genre with how unique it is. Indie devs need to know that they can make their project how they want and the way they want without the communities, always making them compete with games that are nothing like them. I love Hunt, i love Tarkov, i love gzw. You can love multiple games in the same genre and support numerous devs. This isnt a rant towards Kotton or the community more so a rant in general about these looter shooters. Gamers need to help breathe life into the industry via indie devs since AAA studios want to shit the bed constantly
I feel you , this is for sure NOT a tarkov killerr but I like the idea of it. Seems thats the hot button these days is who copied who. People love to call everything a tarkov ripoff when in reality Tarkov ripped off stalker and games like WarZ / Division Dark Zone.
@kotton exactly and it's not even "copying" it's taking ideas and making your own idea from said ideas. It's the basis for all creative ideas and especially now when it seems like everything has been thought of before. But I agree this game looks like it has potential and I personally might give it a try once it has some more polishing and features.

I would like Hunt if it didnt have those monsters in it, i like my games as realistic as possible so i think i might like this looter-shooter old-west style.
@@jefmoesy looter shooters are very unrealistic because that’s not a thing Private military companies do….. hunt showdown puts an amazing twist on the franchise and takes away all the gear fear from tarkov. Its amazing and I wish people could put their predetermined ideas to give it a shot. The point of hunt is to HUNT MONSTERS. Which is why the name is literally Hunt because you’re hunting monsters for the bounty and the Showdown comes in because you are fighting other players for the bounty.
